  1. I have an Ultrastik, but I don't use BigBox so I've never noticed the problem... but if Ultimarc is telling you that, then probably your only hope would be a 3rd party software that somehow emulates a deadzone... I don't know of anything like that but maybe you can google something up.
  2. Ah, good call, Sundogak... I had made a custom config for Demon Souls at some point and that is the game I have been testing with. So, if I check all the boxes in the custom config it does close the RCPS3 launcher after the game closes. I guess my main wish would be if I could, like a lot of other emulators, launch through LB and completely hide the RCPS3 launcher as well... but thanks for helping me get the launcher to close. *edit* The LB options you mention might do the trick, but they are LB Pro features and I let my LB paid subscription run out a long time ago, so I can't use those.
  3. I have all those checked and all the gui welcome screens unchecked and it still launched the RPCS3 gui/launcher (whatever you will call it) and it remains after the game is closed.
  4. Yeah, I have that running... but aren't you getting the RPCS3 gui/launcher when you start the game? How do you get rid of that?
  5. I have RPCS3 launching games, and I have looked through this thread, but I'm not seeing a way to make it launch without the RPCS3 launcher (in other words to go straight to the game). Is there a command line option for this?
  6. Speaking of Contra... I noticed that the MAME importer is still bringing in clones, even if you have it set to ignore clones... the example I just noticed is Gryzor, which is a clone of Contra.

Thanks for the reply. It's on a local drive... just not the one where LB lives. LB is on an SSD, ExoDos will only fit on the spinner.

    eXoDOS v4

I downloaded this behemoth over the last couple days and, let me say first, this is a glorious feat of collecting and organization. My problem is that I didn't realize I wasn't going to be able to select a games directory location. My Launchbox files are on a smaller, faster drive and there's no way to fit this there. Any way to salvage this situation, or am I better off just picking out some of the good games, setting them up manually and deleting the bulk of it? Thanks for the help... and much respect for compiling this digital museum.
  9. Thanks for the link... nothing about my specific issue, but I had wondered if it was a problem with needing to update the module, so I re-downloaded RL thinking it would have all the latest modules included, but maybe not? I've posted in that thread.
  10. Ok... my history of success with posting questions at the RL forums has not been good.
  11. I'm getting a new error that seems to be possibly related to RocketLauncher somehow when I'm launching MAME games... error is "-nouse bezel" not recognized. I haven't had this error in the past... just wondering if anyone else is having/has had this problem and knows how to clear it up. Thanks for the help.
  12. I'm having some trouble getting changes in DosBox Options to take affect. I've tried doing it through the default DosBox configuration tool in the LB menu, and also through the options.bat in the DosBox directory. Specifically, right now I'm trying to change the resolusion so that it is stretched full screen, and use the scanlines options. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
  13. Oh haha... I was all excited about bios updating in MAME.
  14. Is that a newer feature in MAME? I wasn't even aware that this was possible. That's a great feature.
  15. Deco Cassette was an arcade system. It was an alternative to the actual Data East machines in that they let arcades switch the games in the cabinet, but they are the exact same game as the Data East game (Burgertime, Bump n Jump, etc), so they are a duplicate that most people would want filtered.
  16. Deco cassette games are part of the MAME romset for sure. I still don't know what you mean. I was asking if they were supposed to be filtered (see previous discussion of MAME imports in this thread). Most people would want these to be filtered as they are redundant if you have the Data East games, as they were with old Lightspeed filters.
  17. There's already been discussion about MAME imports not working in this thread. I didn't know if it's related. Feel free to move.
  18. Not sure what you mean. Also, noticed Vs. Nintendo games doesn't have a filter in the MAME importer, which would be another good filter.
  19. I'm not sure if it's supposed to, but the MAME importer is not filtering Deco Cassette games... which leads to basically duplicates in your library. Would be good if it would filter these.
  20. I would take another look at the old "lightspeed" app, which nailed the MAME importing and filtering perfectly, and see how he did it.
  21. That looks like a different issue, though.
  22. Yeah, I just checked again on the latest beta... same problem. It looks like it's prioritizing a clone over the parent?
  23. Thanks for the reply. I'm running the latest beta, but I just updated, so most likely this happened before I updated. Good call. I'll re-import my MAME set and see if it all goes smoothly. Thanks again.
  24. Discussion of possible problem with MAME importing.
  25. No... talking about categories that I did not select being downloaded. I just double-checked and it seems like it might be possible that it is downloading from emumovies, even though I'm just showing a blank, grey area on the emumovies tab... as in, no categories available.
