    You would need to edit the code in something like notepad++, you would want the gamedetailsview.xaml. Thats all i can offer though, i know nothing about coding in xaml. Oh and you cant edit the default theme, you would need to make a copy of it and edit the copy.

    It can certainly be done, this is the Lambda theme for example.

    Could be that your roms are simply incompatible with the core you are trying to use.

    There is nothing at all illegal about Launchbox. Giving you roms that you havent paid for and we do not have the rights to distribute would be.

    Roms themselves are not illegal, distributing and downloading of roms for games you havent paid for most certainly is. This is a legitimate software business that organises files you already have. You dont see windows media player giving you access to download pirated MP3's or KODI/Plex giving you links to download pirated TV Shows and Movies do you? Same deal here.

    Yeah i dont use steam big picture. No need when launching from Launchbox/Bigbox.

    If you open steam and go to your profile and then "edit profile" you can specify a "custom url", mine is just my username. Then in the import wizard i just put my username. Works fine.

    Weird, the manual in my above image was from the right click edit window. I dont have manuals so had to grab one to test, downloaded it in the edit window, clicked OK then did Tools/audit name of platform, and manual shows just fine. So looks bulk specific.

    Also how are you trying to download them, right clicking and editing a single game, or via tools/update metadata and media?

    Its perfectly safe to run the installer from the updates folder over the top of your install. It just re-installs the Launchbox files, it doesnt affect your data/images/videos etc.

    Most themes use videos on the platform lists, those are not images pulled from your collection, but fullscreen videos. You can download them in Launchbox via Tools/download platform/playlist videos. As for other files in the download section, they are all optional.

    Screenshots uploaded to the database should not have shaders applied to them, they should just be the default look the emulator gives out of the box.

    You should never abort any update for any program, not just Launchbox. You will end up with a mixture of new files and old files that simply do not work together. Thats just good PC usage advice, not just Launchbox.

    Does the associated platform name EXACTLY match what you called the platform in Launchbox?

    Actually the signal outputted from the systems was not 4:3, it was stretched to that by the CRT's of the day. The actual aspect is narrower than that and stretched. https://forums.nesdev.com/viewtopic.php?t=15879
