Yeah it does stay once set, but you have to manually align it in the first place. There is a option in settings that i would think should do that automatically, but it didnt, at least for me.

OK, this is with a 4K display so you will need to half the values if on 1080p. Under settings/Video/base (canvas) resolution, entered the 4:3 res for my resolution, so 2880x2160 (1080p would be 1440x1080). Under Output (scaled) resolution set the size of the actual outputted file, i set that to 1080p (so 1440x1080) Applied and then on the main screen i had to drag the box to get it correctly centered (as it always defaults to the left of the image) If anyone knows how to do that automatically im all ears (there is a setting to set it centered both horizontally and verticaly, but that didnt seem to work for me. I centered the screen with a game running so i could see exactly what i was doing. End result. 2020-06-27 13-40-41.mp4

If the install to a different location works then its not your PC missing libraries and is likely your original setup got corrupted somehow. I would try running the installer directly over the top of your original install, this wont effect your data, but will replace the files that Launchbox needs to run.

He wants to crop the output so as to have a 4:3 output from a 16:9 screen resolution. Obviously his display is 16:9 but he wants OBS to only output the centered 4:3 window. This is possible as i have done it myself, i kept the shader on mine so its still got the shaders built in TV bezel, but it IS a 4:3 crop from a 16:9 image, this video below would normally have a bezel on the sides as well. This is how my Retroarch looks normally, with TV speakers as the bezel. And this is how it looks with my cropped recording made with the OBS integration, its not quite right as there is some empty space at the bottom so i need to tweak it, but its a 4:3 cropped output from a 16:9 display. In Launchbox Tools/download platform/playlists videos. The specific style in the image retro posted is the "Unified style" so you can use the "preferred" dropdown at the bottom of the window to choose that style.

Like @DOS76 just said that will break games as updates only include altered/new files, so overwriting the old rom with the one from a update pack will break the games as the original rom had most of the data in it.

You cant really, if your roms are mostly US, which im guessing they are then the US images will be used. The only real way would be to delete your genesis images and add (USA) to all your (EUR) images instead, so it uses those.

Have you added PSP to the associated platforms tab for Retroarch, and if you have does the system name there match EXACTLY what you called it in Launchbox?

Never heard of that one before, check your controller/keyboard settings and make sure select isnt also set to back as well or something.

Yes, but have you told Launchbox to unzip games when using Retroarch? If so that is why they dont work. I am assuming it is retroarch itself saying it cant open content when loading it from Launchbox?

Unified Redux is a Bigbox theme, not a Launchbox one, so thats the issue. Move the Launchboxsettings.xml out of the Launchbox/Data folder and open Launchbox, it should open with default settings and theme. FYI Bigbox themes go in Launchbox/Themes, Launchbox themes go in Launcbox/LBThemes.

Can you post the images actually requested, double click on citra there and post a image of that.

Yeah the content directory override will only work if your games are in separate folders (as they should be), it wont save a content directory override if the directory is the same for both systems roms.

Thats just the welcome screen that shows when the program is updated, its hitting the internet to show some info, so i would suggest its a firewall issue on your end. You can just check the box bottom left of the window and click close, it wont show again until the next update.

Themes do not include platform videos, but most use them. You can download them from within Launchbox via Tools/Download platform/playlist videos.

Can you elaborate a little here please? Are you confusing playlists with something else?
