  1. Ill ask this again and hope for a answer this time, did you try importing them to launchbox and if so did you click the box for it to move your games? Because if thats the case they wont be where you think they are.
  2. No the bios should be in Retroarch/System, but that doesnt matter at the moment, even if the bios is wrong or in the wrong place it should still see your files, it just wont load them.
  3. Did you try importing them to Launchbox? and if so did you tell it to move your files?
  4. Well you said they work in epcsxe right? so if they work there they should work in Retroarch. When you are in Retroarch and select load content and navigate to the folder do you see the files?
  5. they should be next to each other in the folder, either individual game folders or a large folder with all the loose bins and cues in, only the .cue files are imported into Launchbox, trying to load the bins from Launchbox will not work.
  6. Bin and cue is what you want format wise. Retroarch doesnt need to see them at all, just import the .cue files into Launchbox and tell it which core to use.

  8. As far as i am aware the api key is kept client side at all times. This would be a question for the developer though so i will tag @Jason Carr here so he can see this post, and hopefully offer a definitive answer for you.
  9. A whole playlist of tutorials there.
  10. Dont touch that site, its garbage. Also buying HDD's with roms on them is highly illegal.
  11. Also to add to that you dont even have to use the launch with. You can right click a game, edit, go to the emulation tab and put the command line for a different core in there, so it will load with the other core by default.
  12. There is a associated platform tab, you type in Platystation 3 there so it knows what platform the emulator is to be used for.
  13. It doesnt matter what emulators are in the list in Launchbox, you can just type in anything you want into the empty box.
  14. I think he is saying add another Nintendo Entertainment System entry and use a different core. Its not something i have ever used or tried but i would think thats how you do it.
  15. Yeah if you changed the location of images they may not be in the older backup so you would need to change the paths again im afraid, but that is quicker and easier than starting from scratch. Glad you got it all sorted.
  16. The problem there is that all your backups are within about 40 minutes of each other, so you dont have a lot to fall back on.What i do every few days or after i have changed a lot is copy and zip my data folder and save it to google drive for backup.
  17. The first one there looks OK, copy it and remove the date from it so it just says Windows.xml and put in in Data/Platforms.
  18. Yeah i just looked as well and thats all i see, there is no information in it at all.
  19. Thanks Jason, unfortunately no if it freezes like that the options window never opens, i have left it for multiple minutes to test and nothing, i always have to end task the program. When the options window does load as normal its almost instant as you would expect it to be. So it either opens immediately on clicking it, or not at all. Edit: Also it seems to be instance dependent, if i open next and it allows me into the options i can then go in and out of it as many times as i like with no issues. However if i close and reopen next its a lottery to weather it will work, but if it doesnt it wont everytime i try it, but if it does it will always work. So maybe its something in the loading the program process, if thats even possible?
  20. @Rod You may need to mess with the box width/height slider to get the look you want, here are my settings. As you can see below i dont have that huge vertical space you are talking about with mixed tall and wide boxes. And i think it also looks good with just the DVD style boxes as well.
  21. Those are both errors relating to a bad disc image of the game unfortunately. Not at all, there are lots of bad game rips out there just because you have some that work doesnt mean that they all will, especially if you are downloading individual games from various sites on the web.
  22. That error looks like its a theme issue, im guessing you are using the default theme as you cant really get into Bigbox to change anything. I would suggest going to Launchbox/Themes folder and deleting the 2 default themes, they will be re created when you start Bigbox and see if that lets you in.
  23. Hmm, well if it worked on another PC then that would lead me to believe that its something specific to the system you are currently running it on, because if the install was broken it wouldnt work on any PC. The only thing i would suggest at the moment is make sure your GPU drivers are up to date as well as making sure you have the latest version of Windows as well as .NET and Direct X installed.
  24. Unfortunately this is not a error i have ever seen before so i have no idea as to the cause or solution to it. I have passed this thread onto @Jason Carr so hopefully he can take a look at it and see if he can figure out what is going on. This is very unfortunate that this is your first experience after purchasing a license and we can only appologise for that, as i say its not a error i have ever seen before so i really dont know what it is in relation to. Does this only happen when loading Bigbox?
