  1. Those preferences can be set in the box-front preferences, you just check the box for that image type and move it up the list to where you want it.
  2. Those are just video themes that you are looking at there and are available from emumovies. Everything else you mention is downloaded from our database or emumovies. When you import you can choose what media you want to download via a load of checkboxes.
  3. Correct, as long as your emumovies sub is premium also, the free version doesnt allow video downloading.
  4. What resolution are you running at? This theme was designed for 1080p so if yours is different that will be the issue, there are a couple of other versions on the download page for 1280x720 and 1280x800, but if you are using a resolution that isnt any of those 3 its not going to display correctly.
  5. Its your windows display scaling, right click a empty space on your desktop and choose display, under scaling change it to 100%
  6. Yep, you can grab them obviously, but they wont show in Launchbox unless you have purchased premium.
  7. I would guess most if not all are already covered by your existing boxes.
  8. NoFiller v2 - 200 - Games List.txt
  9. What @DOS76 is saying here is this isnt a problem with Launchbox, its a issue on your specific PC with write permissions. There is nothing we can do with Launchbox to fix that, its a issue your end on your PC, for some reason you dont have write permissions to the hard drive you are trying to install to. You also say that it is a external hard drive you are trying to install to, have you used that hard drive on another PC before? Its possible that another PC has claimed ownership of the drive so you cant write to it from a different PC. Again these are Windows issues and not Launchbox ones so there is not a lot we can do to help im afraid. I would just try googling that you dont have write permissions to a USB HDD and see what you can find to help give you permissions on that particular PC.
  10. Yes handbrake could certainly be interfering there, its a heavy user of cpu especially if you are converting the format it will often use 100% of your cpu. So anything you try to open will be very slow if there is no spare cpu power to use there. Also as that is a video program it very well could be that it is using the same codecs and such that any other video program uses at the same time. I personally would never attempt to play games or load cpu intensive programs while running handbrake, thats just asking for issues, i run handbrake overnight when the PC isnt being used for anything else as it just kills performance.
  11. And moving a rom file is as straight forward as it comes anyway.
  12. You will need to tell the emulator to use the second monitor im guessing.
  13. Do you have a emumovies premium subscription? You need that for game snaps.
  14. I dont think there is a official way to do that, but you could just copy the banners into the clear logo folder and overight them, then just refresh the image cache in bigbox.
  15. Yeah im afraid its working just fine for me here with input mapper, it just shows as a xinput device in retroarch and just works with no configuration on my part. I also created a second profile in input mapper and used that and it stil just worked, is input mapper putting your controller into exclusive mode when you turn it on? Mine is you turn it on then a windows notification tells me to turn it on again to enable exclusive mode. The only things i can suggest at this point is a PC restart, or you could try copying your .cfg out of the retroarch folder and load it fresh and see if it works then, as it may be something wrong/broken in the config. Sorry i cant help more, but it "just worked" for me out of the box.
  16. Give me a few minutes and ill set up my DS4 with input mapper and see if it works for me.
  17. They may be set to use the DS4 but now retroarch is only seeing a xinput controller. Go back into user 1 binds select the xinput controller then run through the bind all option to set all the buttons, then go to configuration in the 1st menu and save current configuration. Then test a game again.
  18. Yeah that is correct, both input mapper and DS4windows make programs think its a xinput device, so it showing xinput in retroarch is correct. For it to show as a Dual Shock 4 in retroarch you will have to not use input mapper or DS4windows. Retroarch supports the DS4 natively but other emus may not.
  19. lol, i was about to reply with the same.
  20. I cant speak to higan as i have never used it, as for retroarch its possible the controller got disabled, or its assigned to a different one. Load retroarch and go to settings/input with the arrow keys and enter, scroll down to input user 1 and hit enter, what does it list as the controller there? does it say disabled? you can use left and right arrows to select a controller there.
  21. I dont think you can stop it looping in Bigbox, but you can adjust the volume in Bigbox and Launchbox.Next.
  22. Yeah there is, last time i tried it it wasnt working for me though, but maybe thats a issue my end, its in the 3rd party plugins section of the downloads if you wanna take a look at it, @wallabie.
  23. As far as i know the scraper wont be able to read any database ID's from the filename, all the scraper does is look at the name at the start of the file ( anything that is inside of () is simply ignored also). All i did was rename my dozen or so of my 3DS games in the last page of the wizard like i said above, and my games all scraped just fine.
  24. with systems like that that dont have the game name in the file name you need to edit the names on the last part of the import wizard, where it shows you what it is importing and from what loacation, you can double click in the box and rename to anything you like. This is unfortunately a issue with how those games are ripped, its the same with wii u. Launchbox uses the name of the file to ID the game, but if that name is something generic with no mention of the game name then it obviously cant match the game to our database, The only other way is to tick the box in the import wizard to use folder names as titles, but obviously that will rely on you having the games in there own correctly name folders in the first place.
