  1. Also just to correct you this isnt even a Launchbox plugin, its a standalone .exe that was just advertised here as it was handy for our users. Its not a Launchbox thing per se.
  2. I think thats a big ask there if im honest, this was specifically for retroarch. You realise how many different emulators there are? I would guess its in its hundreds, and you want him to keep all that up to date? Its not difficult to go to the emulators site and check for updates if you want one. Also to be honest im of the opinion that if it works dont break it.
  3. Yeah i thought so, i believe that is actually a Windows issue. It will match resolutions to different monitors even if the monitor in question doesn't actually support said resolution or is a completely different resolution. So although it works for Windows itself it seems to confuse applications as they are told the resolution to show by Windows hence them not filling the screen correctly. Maybe @Jason Carr would have a bit more knowledge with the workings of multiple different resolutions in windows than me, but i think that is the issue as i understand it.
  4. Are they different resolution monitors extended?
  5. If i am understanding you correctly then this is a emulator issue not a Launchbox/Bigbox one. Its down to the individual emulator settings what screen and resolution they launch on. So i would look in the emulator settings and see what you can find there.
  6. Glad you figured it out but i have to ask also, you have to specify your game location in the teknoparrot ui also first right? You set the game location for the specific game and also set the controls for said game in the same place.
  7. have you tried parrot ui as the emu?
  8. Thats a emulator issue, have you set the controls in retroarch?
  9. Correct, but to add. It will also depend on your region priorities you have set in the launchbox options, you obviously want (JAP) as the top option in there. Also you should still scrape that platform as "Super Nintendo Entertainment System".
  10. No probs glad i could help. Always remember that the emulators in Launchbox need to no what Systems/Platforms you want to emulate with it, it doesnt know by itself, so if its not there simply add it.
  11. So you probably need to add Super Famicom as a associated platform as i said. Tools/Manage Emulators, double click retroarch, pick the associated platform tab and scroll to the bottom, add Super Famicom as a platform (named exactly the same as it is in launchbox) and pick your core from the dropdown.
  12. Do you have a emulator set, and is it retroarch? If so you will need to add Super Famicom as a platform via tools/manage emulators/your emulator/associated platforms.
  13. Standalone redream deffo supports CHD as that is what mine are.
  14. Yes, just go to options/Views/Default startup view and change it to all games.
  15. No, it means if a game doesnt have a image it will show a generic Launchbox one but the same shape and size of the rest of the games so that everything is still the same size and looks more organised rather than just having a grey box when you have no image.
  16. Shouldn't do, its more likely its been thrown about during transit, or was already broken.
  17. Yeah agreed, i would never buy a second hand HDD unless i could personally test it myself first.
  18. It depends where you have it in your PC, if its just in there with screws it could be vibrating the whole case. Generally HDD's should be on little rubber dampers to minimize vibration. As for it already being formatted that doesnt really matter, you may still need to tell windows to activate and use it in disk management. If it really is vibrating that much and making that much noise though then unfortunately you may of been scammed with a broken drive.
  19. That first app does do exactly what i wanted to do, so cheers @DOS76
  20. I have actually mentioned this myself before. It would be handy for people with a dual monitor or monitor/TV setup so the audio only comes from the monitor/TV that is actually running bigbox. At the moment i cant have bigbox on one and say a youtube vid on the other as they both overlap the audio.
  21. Just go into your Launchbox/Updates folder and re-install the newest version directly over the top of your current install. For future reference you want Launchbox/Data/BigBoxSettings.xml.
  22. They need to be .cue/.bin or CHD for mednafen Saturn in Retroarch. ISO's wont work for mednafen saturn.
  23. I have 3 different xinput controllers, a xbox one connected via official dongle, a gamesir g4s connected with its dongle and a 8bitdo sfc30 pro connected via bluetooth dongle, all 3 work just fine for me in Bigbox. I also have a Mayflash F500 wired arcade stick which i use in dinput mode, and that works fine also.
  24. Im not quite sure what you are asking here, Launchbox itself doesn't have to be fullscreen it can be any sized window you like. Once a game is loaded though you are no longer in Launchbox you are in the emulator so whatever settings you have set there will be used for the screen size be it fullscreen or windowed. It sounds to me like you just want a smaller emulator window so just set the emulator in question to windowed not fullscreen.
