  1. Yes, background music goes in Launchbox/Music/Background/Platforms, if there is not a folder with the platform name in there just create it and drop the music file into it.
  2. The game videos are actually emumovies subscription based also, so Launchbox premium will allow you to download platform videos, but not the game ones that needs a separate premium subscription at emumovies.
  3. No probs, also the opposite apply s also, you can hold ctrl and click on multiple games then right click and combine the selected games to one entry.
  4. Launchbox is Windows only, there are streaming apps you can use to stream from a Windows PC to the Fire Stick, but that will have latency and depend on you network speed to work at any decent speed.
  5. Just right click the game entry that has multiple roms and choose the "Expand Selected Games" option to separate them out.
  6. Pause screen is already planned,it was very highly voted in the last poll.
  7. You will have to delete the Arcade.xml from the Launchbox/Data/Platforms folder while Launchbox is closed. It should open then as its that file which is corrupted and is preventing the program opening.
  8. Well MAME doesnt support retro achievements at all, so that wont work. Genesis plus core is working just fine for me though.
  9. Its in Options/Hotkey settings, right click the change disc option and use the top dropdown to pick your controller and pick the button you want. If you want a button combo pick a button and use the "and" option on the right and pick a second button.
  10. Launchbox will automatically combine multi disc games as long as they are named correctly, so like you say xxx Disc 1and xxx Disc 2 will be added to one game entry during import, and if you want to load the second disc you just right click the game and select disc 2. Also i should add that you only need to import the .cue files for ps1, and the .gdi files for Dreamcast, as those files have the data for the emulators that is all that is needed to be imported into launchbox.
  11. Well it certainly shouldnt, in that case close launchbox and go to Launchbox/Data/Platforms and delete the .xml and reopen.
  12. Just right click on the snes platform and delete.
  13. Yeah or just copy it somewhere else if you want to keep it for some reason. then just do a new import and uncheck all the media options as you have it all all ready it will all re-attach after the import.
  14. At this point its probably easier to just re-import your Arcade system, it will only take a minute or two as you dont need to download any media as you already have it.
  15. lol, pass. You beat me to it as i was about to have a look, so saved me a job.
  16. Feature complete as in it has all the features the original did. This was not a feature in the original, so its currently not in next either.
  17. Thats likely a emulator issue. The retro Achievements integration is just for Launchbox/Bigbox so you can see your achievements in the interface, each emulator also has to be logged in separately, so as you are getting this error as you launch a game its likely that its the emulator you are using has the wrong details or none at all.
  18. That is something that i have seen also, Jason is aware of it and is looking into it, it appears to be steam api related. Strange thing is though that it isnt happening for everyone, so its a little difficult to diagnose at the moment.
  19. Yeah i havent tested as all my images are cached, but i wonder if that would spike higher if it was caching the "ALL" category as its then caching different size boxes from different platforms all at once, just a theory.
  20. Yeah when it is just idling it barely uses any resources at all, thats why i said i think it was probably caching images cause 81% cpu is very high.
  21. When you click on a platform for the first time in next it will cache the images for that platform, as i said you can watch a very thin progress bar at the top of the screen when it is doing this. That would be my guess as to whats happening because as you can see in my image i am using 0% cpu, but i already have all the images cached.
