  1. I have Hi Scores showing here, so it does work. Only things i could suggest is to go to the Hamburger menu and cloud, and make sure you are logged into our game database, as this is where scores are uploaded/downloaded to/from. Secondly head to tools/options/integrations/mame and make sure you have these boxes checked. And finally under tools/options/visuals/game details, and make sure you have those checked to actually show in the UI.
  2. Excellent work as always, it's great to see the speccy get some love here, as it was mostly a UK/Europe thing it gets overlooked a lot when people clean up art or make art packs.
  3. Launchbox by default looks in the Launchbox/Games folder for games, so if they are not in that folder you need to tell Launchbox where they are via tools/manage platforms/folders. You can also simply highlight all the games in your folder and just drag and drop them all onto the Launchbox window.
  4. Sitting here patiently for all the dizzy games. Or ATV Simulator, Trap Door, many i remember sitting in front of a mid 80's TV playing. Oh and thanks for all these.
  5. Yes, at least i assume, there is supposed to be a few models, but that one is all i have seen on the youtube channels so far. Its a Android phone with built in controls essentially, whether those are xinput or dinput is hard to tell, but in all the videos i have watched they work with every game/emulator tested.
  6. Send a email to support@unbrokensoftware.com and explain what you want and provide the email address you used when purchasing your license through google play, they will hook you up with a license.
  7. Pretty sure that shader settings (which is what you are trying to set and may of made things easier to understand for other users if you had used that term in this thread title) don't get set in the main mame.ini but in a separate file, like the one provided by one of our moderators in this download, This download contains two files, one for normal games, and one for vector games, both files are placed in the mame/inis/presets folder, So i feel you may be confusing two separate files here, which is confusing other people trying to help you.
  8. As @Retro808 said, no, there are no steps other than a no-nag build like he said. Official MAME will always have those screens, hence why a specific build needs to be made, using the MAME source code that removes them.
  9. Maybe, but maybe not, you really want the 0.232 emulator to avoid broken games.
  10. Yeah, you didn't mention you had videos, you just asked about needing a emumovies subscription to play them, which would be the normal way to get them.
  11. Your second image, Launchbox is pointing to the Retroarch folder, but not the actual retroarch.exe.
  12. This has always been the case for Playstation controllers on PC, they are not using xinput, but the older dinput, which causes compatibility issues. This is why people use tools like ds4Windows so it shows in the OS as a xinput controller instead.
  13. The game in question has to of been launched at least once, for it to show on your account, and in turn the API so that we can see it. Have you actually ran this game yet?

    Mame

Oh, ha, i completely missed that this was for Android. Im less savvy with that version, but mame_2003 is the core you are loading the game with directly in retroarch?

    Mame

Well what i asked would be Launchbox option, not a retroarch one. Did you add the platform and specify the core to use in Launchbox?
  16. neil9000

    Mame

Do you have Launchbox trying to unzip the file before it loads into Retroarch? That will break arcade games.

If i had to guess its a naming issue, gonna assume you have that romset with the bad naming that just has plain versions in it, like v1.222 and such? Info like that should be like this (v1.222) otherwise Launchbox will think it is part of the game name, and never find a match.
  18. A MAME romset will contain all Arcade games that have been dumped ( as well as a ton of shit that isn't games and you don't really want) regardless of whether or not MAME can currently actually run them yet, or not, they are their in the hope that they become playable with the MAME emulator in the future. in total out of a full romset only around 2900 are considered working games. Doesn't matter as far as Launchbox is concerned, however if you want to break a romset down and just pull out the games you want, then you MUST use a Non-Merged set, pulling out, or deleting games from the other sets will break completely unrelated games due to the way they are packaged, which is why Non-Merged is by far the biggest pack, each individual game zip has all needed files in it, hence the size increase as something like say the NeoGeo.zip which is a needed bios file, is now in that pack several hundred times, whereas it is only in a split, or merged set once.
  19. If you have a 0.240 romset, and the 0.240 emulator and games are not working then you have something wrong with your romset, unless one of two issues. 1. The games you are testing do not actually work in MAME ( there are hundreds, if not thousands of these in a full MAME romset) or 2. the games you tested need the CHD file which are not included in the normal romset. MAME is designed to only work with the correct romset and emulator, hence them being versioned. So mixing say a 0.180 romset with a 0.240 emulator version will absolutely have broken games in it, games are only ever guaranteed to work with the respective versions, so when even that isnt the issue then you have something seriously funky going on.
  20. Have you set a button to add a coin? You cant do anything in game if you have no credits.
  21. No, only a few are included with the program install file to get you started, anything else you want will need to be sourced.
  22. Not gonna happen i'm afraid, we tried that once, its not just the licencing that is the issue, its the whole thing. Never a good idea to mix business and pleasure either, are you "work" bosses aware you have roms you dont own that phone also? Id use a dedicated device if i was you.
  23. Yeah, we send a command line argument to the emulator telling it which core and rom to load, we cant do that if the emulator is already open.
