  1. I 2nd Towerfall and Nidhogg, me and my sons have a blast playing those. Any of the Lego games (we like the Marvel, DC, and Star Wars ones) The Gauntlet reboot. You Don't Know Jack - crazy trivia game.
  2. I'll have to try it again. On a related note, anyone using the Vulcan N64 Core in Retroarch? The only game that worked for me in it was Conker, but then Conker wouldn't work right for me in any other N64 emulator. I'm probably going to set up a separate Retroarch folder just for Vulcan and use it on a per system or even per game basis. Is there anything else in Retroarch that seems to work better with Vulcan over D3D or OpenGL?
  3. No problem. I did a quick google search and found a list of Wii game IDs if you don't want to use the Dolphin UI: http://crysweb.altervista.org/wiigameids/ Here's an example of my No More Heroes 2 gameini (it's titled RUY but the game ID is RUYE41, something to look out for, and like I said earlier I ran into a couple of games that weren't already in folder that I had to make myself): # RUYE41 - No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle [Core] # Values set here will override the main Dolphin settings. [EmuState] # The Emulation State. 1 is worst, 5 is best, 0 is not set. EmulationStateId = 4 EmulationIssues = Small graphical glitch with light saber (light stays at the same place for a second when you move) [OnLoad] # Add memory patches to be loaded once on boot here. [OnFrame] # Add memory patches to be applied every frame here. [ActionReplay] # Add action replay cheats here. [Controls] WiimoteProfile1 = classic controller I added the [Controls] section, everything else was already there, I just added it to the bottom of the ini. You add [Controls], hit enter, then underneath WiimoteProfile1 = whatever you named the profile you want to use. If it's a multiplayer game you have make a separate profile for each one and add a line for each one in the ini. Example: [Controls] WiimoteProfile1 = classic controller WiimoteProfile2 = classic controller2 WiimoteProfile3 = classic controller3 Remember that capitalization and everything must be exact. Hope this helps!
  4. How's the compatibility of the HW core these days? Last time I used it, it gave me problems with a few games and I ended up going back to ePSX.
  5. I went back and looked: The gameini's are in your main Dolphin folder > Sys > Gamesettings. Most game's IDs are already listed in the folder, I did, however have to make a new ini file for a couple of my games. To find the gameID you go to the Dolphin GUI, select the game, right click, click on properties, then go to the "info" tab in the Properties box that comes up. One thing to keep in mind, since this is in your main Dolphin folder, if you update your Dolphin install make sure to copy the gamesettings folder first so you don't have to do all of this over again (the controller profiles are saved in your Documents folder, at least for me, so they should be safe, just need to copy the gameini's). In fact, I have a copy of the "Gamesettings" folder saved somewhere else, just in case.
  6. For the Wii and Gamecube in Dolphin it's a little complicated. For the Wii I made several custom controller config profiles and named them things like Wilmote, Wiimote Sideways, Classic Controller, etc. Then you have to go into the individual gameini for each game and add the command for it to use a certain game controller profile, otherwise Dolphin will just load whatever game controller profile is currently in it. Also, I believe the gameini's are listed by the game's number ID, I think you have to click on the game in the Dolphin UI and look at "properties"? (it's been awhile since I did it) to find it's ID number. Here's a link with all the commands listed that you can add to the gameini's: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-howto-using-gameini-settings-per-game The good news is once you do all that Dolphin will load everything automatically for each game and you don't have to do anything in Launchbox.
  7. I've tried it with the videos as the primaries and as specific to the theme, it didn't make any difference. Mine still looks just like video above does as well, none of the fixes have worked for me either. I'm on Windows 8.1 so it's not a Windows 10 thing.
  8. That's the same problem I'm having, where the video is in a different position for each platform. Everything is up to date, using WMP, only have one screen, etc. I'm wondering if it's some setting we each have outside of Big Box that could be causing it? I'm on Windows 8.1, not sure if Windows 10 does anything differently.
  9. Love this theme, only problem is I can't get the videos to align properly on the platform view #2. I am using your 4:3 Video set and am using WMP.
  10. A Mugen one would be great to go along with the outstanding OpenBOR one you did. That and Famicom Disk System are the only ones missing for me.
  11. Did you put the zip file, the CHD, and all of the bios in the rom folder in Demul? All that has to go into the rom folder in Demul when emulating any of the Naomi based arcade boards. - I have VF4 Final Tuned working with Demul so it should work if set up properly.
  12. The only system I got a complete set for was the NeoGeo, since I like almost evey game on the system and the total is only about 137 games. As for the rest of the systems I have set up (about 1500 games in total) I don't use complete sets for two reasons, #1 - I don't have time to play even 1/4 of the good games on a system, much less all the mediocre and/or bad ones. #2 - For me, part of the fun is setting everyhting up and deciding what games make the cut, researching quality games to add, etc. I owned almost every home system (besides the NeoGeo and Jaguar) at one time or another and played enough crappy SNES, 32X, 3DO, NES, etc games back in the day I don't need them all now, LOL.
  13. I got it working, it was a combination of some bad dumps and one of my bios's being bad. Thanks for the tip on using CDmage, though, it saved me a lot of time re-downloading stuff. Really happy with Mednafen Saturn over Yabause and SFF so far.
  14. For the life of me I can't get the Mednafen Saturn core to work, neither in LB nor just in Retroarch. Tried different rips of the games, tried using CDMage, tried everything. Everything fails to launch. Sometimes I get an "Uncorrectable data at sector 0" error message, sometimes not. Almost everything I have is "mostly" working in the Yabause core but I'd love to switch over.
