    @cleverestI would rather not go into to much detail but my collection takes up an entire 8tb drive and 4tb drive, I keep everything unzipped.

    Back again with another issue. BigBox had been working great for me lately and I have now realized it was because I had not updated it in a while due to there having been no new Betas for a while. A new Beta was released yesterday and as soon as I updated all cover flow images had to load again and if I go to the "Force Populate" option in the menu it starts from scratch where before the update it was it was showing a quick green loading screen since everything was populated. I realize now this has been a major problem for me for a long time so Is this a known issue? it would suck if I had to constantly repopulate after every update as I have a massive library and I have to leave BigBox populating over night.....

    Any news @letstalkaboutdune? Are you still making the new logos and the new videos for @Charco and @Hank7_98?

    Ok so I re-added my games that were missing and updated to the latest beta and removed all old settings I had for PC games in Rocketlauncher and everything is back running fine so far. Really happy to get this problem sorted it had popped up a few times and I'd given permission to folders etc etc with no luck. So thanks everyone for helping getting this sorted!

    Yes I am using Rocketlauncher just for one or two, I'll go through Rocketlauncher and see if their is anything I should delete since I moved from Hyperspin.. I'll update to the latest Beta and let you guys know how I got on.

    That did it!! Well done Belgarath and thanks neil9000 for your time. I'll start adding the rest of my games and hope this problem never happens again it's been driving me nuts.

    Still doesn't make a difference. It adds the game like a new game not detecting the old one in the xml. but as soon as I shut down LaunchBox and reopen, the game is gone again.

    The weird thing is the game shows up in BigBox....Just checked twice and its there....This is damn annoying anyway thanks for your time neil9000, I'm going to do a few installs and updates and see if it fixes the problem.

    I don't understand that....Defiantly not showing up for me, without doubt. I just checked again under all games. It's just not there? Any other idea??? I really don't understand why this keeps happening and why when I reinstalled an official version before it fixed the problem, but the official version no longer fixes it since I reinstalled windows....

    Yes it's there in the XML but its still not showing up in Launchbox. I'll attach the XML, the game is Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon PC Games.xml

    Under manage platform the PCgames category set to computers. I also just added a game and I could see that the platform game number changed from 79 games to 80, but again when I restarted LaunchBox the game was gone and and the platform game number had changed back to 79....

    Yes If I sort by platforms Pc Games is listed, games are still missing though

    nope, don't have them open, right now I am taking ownership of the folders under my Administrator account instead of setting the files to "Eveyone". I doubt it will make a difference though. but I'll let you know. Thanks for the help so far DOS76, and neil9000

    Yes I found it strange that there is no windows XML, But before I updated All my games were showing up fine. Yes I did assign them the Platform category PC Games and that category is available from the drop down menu with the "scrap as" set to windows. but as soon as I exit LaunchBox and restart the games are gone again. Weird.

    Hi, I have had this problem on my fresh installation of Windows 10, My PC games keep disappearing (it seems to be the latest games I had added) I have them under PC Games because I use RocketLauncher. I have checked that my LaunchBox files are not set to read only and all the security settings for all Launchbox files are set to full control. I had this problem before on an older installation of LaunchBox on an older installation of windows 10 and reinstalling and rollback of LaunchBox fixed the problem, That did not work this time. I can't seem to find my missing games anywhere in the Data folder, and searching through Launchbox with the "ALL Games" view does not make them reappear, and as soon as I add a game it disappears again when I restart launchBox, As far as I know this is only happening with PC games but I am concerned that other games may be missing as I have an extensive library. Please help! This problem is a real pain.

    Made Rhythm and Role Playing intros and revised my MOTOR video so it's only console games, Again, just Hyperspin Logos used for now in the new ones. I think I might start a new thread for consoles only as soon as I have enough made cause I kind of feel like I'm hijacking letstalkaboutdune's thread a bit even though he did send me his original template.     Thanks! I did Shooter and Strategy too but I hate the Strategy Logo it's just quickly taken from Hyperspin for the min, I'm sure you could do much better. FILES: shooter.mp4 Strategy.mp4
