  1. Same exact issue without config.... :-(
  2. I still can't get PCFX to work in it, that and NES (Nestopia), the rest appear to be working I've tried Retroarch with so far...
  3. No they are individual .NES files....I DID try to zip one and run it for kicks (setting it to that in LB) and same issue....so odd...
  4. Thanks, LordMonkus....strangely enough I've done all of this already...everything is correctly named and the core is DL, showes and can be loaded in Retroarch....even the XML file was done (did it again)....but still no DICE :-( Gives me a spinning wheel mouse cursor for about 2sec than does nothing....SIGH
  5. Not sure what has happened, converted most of collection to RetroArch, and my bsnes with SNES games open fine...but my Nestopia with NES games don't open, I double click and get nothing at all....what could the issue be?
  6. Still can't get Citra to remember last window, always opens top left, have to drag it and snap it to center...wish there was a command line to maximize, maintain aspect ratio or something
  7. Hmmm...do you know what would that command line would be to use for Mednafen for PC-FX stuff, for the standlone, to use in Launchbox? I can't find that anywhere...at this point, I'm gonna give up on Retroarch, at least for this system...
  8. I can't get it working.....cue and bins are correct, BIOS is named correctly, I know it sees it because I have it finally launching retroarch, but to a BLACK SCREEN....before I had correct bios/named it wouldn't open at all....can't get beyond this black screen...ideas? Thanks.
  9. Cammelspit (nice name btw, lol), what is the total disk space required by your collection as it currently curently stands? I'm anal about using compressed formats when possible (for wii-U, GameCube, PS2, PSP especially), at 18k games I'm using about 5.5TB currently. That includes 6k games from eXodos and win3x games not in LB in addition to the 18k games in LB, with maybe 10 games installed (aka uncompressed) on it....Was just curious if you break it down for me at all :-)
  10. I basically want both...a massive comprehensive EVERYTHING AND ALL THE CRAP POSSIBLE (within English playable parameters) collection....and my own fine-tuned way more practical PLAY collection... :-)
  11. ^ That is my dream...how much space that take up? I wonder if they are compressing when possible...CSO for PSP and GZ or CSO for PS2, gamecube games, WII-U games compressed, etc...
  12. Just thought it would be fun...I know it's not the size that counts...errr, well maybe that's what small sizes say, but.... I'm currently at somewhere around a couple hundred from 18,000 games total (not counting about 430 steam games I need to add) and over 6,000 Exodos/Win3x games to be added once officially supported by LB... [Picture coming later], and I'm still building mine... Anyone's library way more massive? I'm looking forward to the nested feature, may make organizing this way more fun ? * Edit, 09-18-2017 - I'm now at just under 33,000 games (no dupes, only English and Japanese translated to English and a few Japanese only (mostly japanese only platforms), and other japanese, but English playable titles (mostly shooters or old platformers/fighters.) * 01-30-21 - I'm now at 44,888 titles, but 2,800 are video game magazines & comics. 8TB is chock full, now expanding to a 12-14TB build next....
  13. Can't you just tag every shooting game with a SERIES name? I guess one by one that IS a pain....
  14. I have an EMUMOVIES account...I've already downloaded all media using launchbox....is there ANY point whatsoever running emumovies sync utility.exe? Will this find more assets, not hurt my existing media downloads (not duplicate them) or am I wasting my time bothering? Thanks in advance.
  15. I want to gift him my amazingly awesome collection, he bought an 8TB drive for this purpose....he emailed me his license key he received in email....when I copy the goods onto his drive, do I just put his license in his LB folder and call it a day? Anything else I'm forgetting/missing in this process? I will probably be referring another friend this month too. Any chance that has earned me a lifetime upgrade? (I have the 1yr) - LOL!! Thanks.
  16. We appreciate you eXo, thank you for the awesome update post! Keep on rockin' it!!
  17. ^ Curious about this too....Haven't tried the 5k+ game export for DOS yes, but was wondering the best way to get the 1000+ Windows games into LB as well...
  18. This will override the default save states set on all existing emulators? COOL.
  19. Sorry for the bit of a side question...but what is the best way to GLOBALLY set up RetroArch with SAVE STATES for all emulators?....I want them to default to F5 for save and F9 for load (as long as those don't conflict with a particular one) and it's possible to do so... Thanks!
  20. LordMonkus, great response, and very great points..I'm sold! Is it possible to set up uniform save states across all emulators you've worked with (EX: F5 saves, F9 loads) with all platforms with RA, or are there still trouble systems with this?
  21. I'm a newbie with Retroarch; I have yet to convert my collection to it....I'm getting out of RL and going stand-alone for now, but sounds good, thanks.
  22. Curious about " Sony PlaystationRetroarch Mednafen PSX - This is my preferred choice just because of RAs extra features. " ...but then the rest of the paragraph goes on to praise ePSXe ....I'm wondering what the "extra features" are that sway your way toward RA on this one...?
  23. Thanks Donarumo, I will try this tonight...I appreciate you weighing in on this and helping me!
  24. Did you try the XML COPY/EXPORT process above that Donarumo posted two posts above yours yet, or no?
