Microsoft sort of forces the damn update, and you have to jump through hoops to prevent it...I should have...

I'll try it and update this post, but if that fails to fix it, the issue is certainly to do "with us". (LB) as it was working perfectly fine before and I've installed no other software beyond the win 10 OS update.

I updated to 7.10, and immediately imported a few PS2 games, seemingly on the last one while importing video 2 of 2 it crashed again!! Ugh!!...was hoping the update would fix this....so frustrating.

How can I back up my favorites, playlist and SERIES LIST? I want to reinstall - i don't want to lose and have to rebuild these all if I reinstall to try to fix my crashing issue. Ever since updating my Windows 10 with this new creator patch or whatever, it's been doing this....UGH

I haven't tried the new plug in to help make the process easier for submission to the Launchbox database , but assuming that it's working well, that should dramatically speed up the process I would think!

I guess I'll reinstall the dependencies like framework first, my collection is almost 7TB...wouldn't a full reinstall take a long time?

Nothing changed hardware/OS wise EXCEPT now I'm in Windows 10 latest update that some people are reporting causes issues....is there a way to fix this? It happens MOST of the time I have Launchbox open now, probably anytime it exceeds from 1min-30min it will almost always crash at least once...and it can happen if I walk away from the computer, or if I'm clicking through my game categories/lists.... What do I need to provide to troubleshoot this more, and possibly get it fixed? Thanks everyone...bummed out, really want the stability back...

I'm trying to avoid the dialog to click OK when I launch a Vpinmame table to permit the ROM from loading with the table...anyone know the command line to achieve this? I have the ones recommended above set, but it doesn't help this... See image attached... Thanks.

To confirm the auto consolidator works very well, but not perfectly, it missed a few variations, but overall it REALLY made things look neater :-)

After I run the process, and it fetches movie information from my collection....it says finish, I open launchbox and my collection under the platform is created, says I have 72 (I have counts enabled in the options), but no movies show up in the window.....then LB freezes, not responding...I re-opened, now the movies seem to load fine, but I'm in there for a few seconds, and LB crashes again, not responding :-( just letting you know!

IS this all the software-list roms that mame supports (console emulation stuff) or actual games in the regular ROM (split) set I have? I just want the entire ARCADE set, minus mechanical, mahjong and non-working...I don't want the console stuff with mame..I already have that :-) - Brett

I recall this working once a few versions ago, but now at 7.9 (and a couple before that), my sync just seems to go and go...I've left it on for about 7 hours now... "Please wait while syncing your collection" is still up.... Anyway to tell if it's in fact doing something? I have 28k+ titles so far...

Excellent advice; I'd love to code something fun like a 2D game of some sort. But that seems way ahead of what I can do l, and not be frustrated with at the start...Gonna try to think of a plugin that can help Launchbox be even more awesome; not sure WHAT that will be yet....
