  1. Imported a ton of games, in D64 and T64 formats.....using this emulator, but can't figure out how to launch half of what I try and control most of them.....SPACEBAR sometimes works as a sort of enter key...if I go to joystick settings I can see my xbox 360 controller move in the calibration test, etc...but no buttons work.... I have a wired XBOX 360 controller and a 3rd party USB SNES controller, wouldn't mind playing with either one....but how do I best configure this emulator with my controllers? Thanks.
  2. Hmm okay, thanks, good to know!
  3. Just imported 8,200 games, yikes gonna take awhile to fix this....one example: Apollo 18 - Mission to the Moon (USA) (Disk 1 Side A).D64 Apollo 18 - Mission to the Moon (USA) (Disk 1 Side B).D64 Imported as two entries... What is the fastest way for me to fix this.....must I rename the files to SOMETHING ELSE?.... and manually add the second B size one under additional apps? Any faster way of fixing these cases?
  4. I do believe the first part I clipped off was referring to the launchbox DB link though....in all cases....
  5. Okay, just wanted you all to know in case it was helpful...guess I should post this over there....
  6. Checked Emumovies during import process, and to prioritize their DB.....imported a whopping 8,200 C64 games (D64 and T64 files), and only got a few errors (bravo for an awesome DB!), here is the screenshot of the final log...not sure if this helps anyone....
  7. Full changes in the new version, YAY! A new development version has been released. Changes in FS-UAE 2.9.3dev: Updated FS-UAE icon. Allow specifying sub_title = 0 to disable the sub title. Changes in FS-UAE Launcher 2.9.3dev: Fix for published/unpublished status of variants. Extract WHDLoad arguments from .info file when loading a WHDLoad archive. Set floppy drive volume (empty) to 0 when starting with a WHDLoad archive. Show error message when version started is too old (cannot read databases). New option whdload_quit_key to set global quit key, added to settings UI. Renamed “Joystick” to “Controller” in settings dialog. Improved look on Windows 10. Updated look for the settings dialog. Updated button links to option docs. Updated FS-UAE Launcher icon. CDTV games (from database) did not set CDTV model. Changes in FS-UAE Arcade 2.9.3dev: Add application icon to the Arcade window. Added new icon for FS-UAE Arcade (instead of the Launcher icon).
  8. ^ I chose GZ because it gives better compression ratio; not by a huge amount...but when you have hundreds and hundreds of games...it makes a difference. You want to do -9 compression for best results speed and compression wise if you go this route. Only negative I can think of is that it creates a very small (in the MB) tmp file the FIRST time you launch a game; but after that games load at full speed...not a biggie for me.
  9. For GameCube games use dolphin, set the game directory, then just multiply highlighting right click and compress those games all at once. There is one for PS2 games, via a batch file with iso's in same folder To GZ format using pigz command line multi threading compression... I didn't use CSO, but I believe there is one like that where you load multiple into a window and click to compress.
  10. EXCIIIITED! Thanks Jason, and eXo!
  11. Xena990, thanks for sharing the details...this is my current breakdown....everything working, except NEO GEO CD, which I may remove...because for the life of me I can't seem to get them to wor (Bin/CUE) games in MESS, Mednefan, Nebula or anything else, driving me nuts...
  12. Cool...I was curious on a per-platform bases too LOL,but no worries, thanks!
  13. ^ also wondering about this!
  14. I feel stupid, I figured out what was....in associated platforms, I had the CORE listed as whatever.dlll (and was changing only the name part before the extension) but it should have been .dll (one too many L's!!!) - AAAARGH
  15. I really appreciate you taking the time....it will certainly help a lot of people...sadly I've done this entire thing to the T and it's still not working; got it working in the FCEUMM emulator you suggested, but somehow it's not working anymore in RetoArch, just like the other one (Nestopia) is not....Gonna restart my computer, maybe it's something else preventing it from launching...
  16. Xena990 - His Screenshot didn't show game counts, that's what I was responding to.
  17. CammelSpit, My recommendations, if they help... For Gamecube games use Dolphin to compress with GCZ format...it compresses them and they are usable with no slowdown. For PSP games use CSO; avoids the TMP file for PS2 below and is close to the same compression GZ For PS2 use GZ and there is only a delay the first time you open a game it created a small TMP file (in the MB) for each game after launching once and then opens regular speed after that....
  18. Would love the screenshots to show the game counts..enabled via TOOLS > OPTIONS > SIDEBAR :-)
  19. I want Retroarch working with it, but it won't...followed the tutorial, still not working, so I guess I have to give up on this for now.
  20. I have Nestopia standalone set up and working, but not through RetroArch, I guess I can't figure it out :-\
  21. Yes it acts the same with or without a config set... I have the BIOS in the systems folder of Retroarch for Famicom games BTW, not that I've tried to open one yet...so wierd....I'm glad SNES is working at least! ;-) A tutorial would be nice!
  22. I just added that based on a video that showed the guy set them both up using the same core, but never used it yet...I may have famicom games imported along with my NES games...haven't really tried them yet, LOL Right now I'd be happy if Retroarch/nestopia would just open regular NES games... :-)
  23. I think I attached the wrong screenshot of associated platforms, LOL sorry...
  24. I renamed platform and added the (NES) and changed it to the same name in associated platform...and moved all art assets to that new folder (and videos to the new videos folder), everything is like it was before in LB...same issue though....here is my screenshots: (see below post for other image)
  25. Interesting you have (NES) at the end of your platform name, I'll try that...
