  1. Nice build. Looks very English - in UK?
  2. Could you post a link to the arcade marquee size custom LCD screen that you found?
  3. Me neither. It's pretty complicated though, and didn't work for me the first time I tried it...but somehow it has just started working for me now (don't ask me how)!
  4. What about this -
  5. Thanks DOS76. Stuff can get implemented without votes on a poll though can't it? I mean if Jason feels it is worthwhile he can do it, votes or no votes.
  6. One solution might be to tell the emulators to use the correct monitor. If you are using retroarch then there is an option to change the monitor that it defaults to.
  7. How can I add an "additional app" for all games in a platform, without editing each one manually and individually? Can I do this by editing the platform XML, or is there any other way?
  8. Far out, man!
  9. Back up everything that you don’t want to lose...!
  10. @RetroHumanoid - what's that multi-monitor setup in the first pic? Looks great! Would love to have multi-monitor support in Launchbox.
  11. I had this problem last night too. Maybe it was a problem with the database.
  12. That looks like the same kind of Panasonic TV that I have (but I don't use mine for gaming). It's heavy so I'm impressed that you got it up that high near the ceiling.
  13. It would be nice if these marquees could be added to the Launchbox database so they can be scraped!
  14. Is it the Win7 or WinXP of MFME 6.1 you need, if you are running Win10? Also, is there a way to download all the slots as a package? Or maybe you could share your fruits folder ??
  15. Pack 2, great Looking forward to the next pack to hopefully complete the set!
  16. A relatively small, but slightly annoying bug/issue in Launchbox. Usually, when I select a platform in the tree that contains playlists, it shows that platform and does not expand the tree. This is as expected and IMHO as it should be. If I double-click that platform or select the arrow next to it, the tree expands, again as expected. The problem is, sometimes when I single-click one of these platforms (on the platform name and not the arrow), it expands to show the tree. This problem seems to be intermittent and I'm not sure if there are any antecedents or triggers. @Jason Carr Also, I'm still having the problem where some screenshots are not showing in the games details pane (despite being correctly tagged as screenshots when you go to edit game details). If I click the magnifying glass icon on the game to view the media, they are there.
  17. Good video Harry. Do you do some kind of graphic design for a living? If I may offer my personal thoughts - there is a bit too much focus on the special effects rather than the DOS games themselves. Overall the effect feels a bit futuristic rather than retro or nostalgic. Also, the splash effect is a bit repetitive as it keeps getting used. Keep up the good work though!
  18. Thanks Jason. Yes Windows should be 100% up to date, as the problem manifested after I updated to the latest build. It's probably worth mentioning (as DOS76 pointed out) that I am running Windows on a Bootcamp partition on a Mac - so that could be a factor too! Edit: I updated the Bootcamp drivers via the BootCampDrivers website, and that thankfully seemed to fix the issue
  19. Just updated Windows 10 Pro to the latest version (version 1809). Launchbox seems to be broken What happens on starting up Launchbox is: - the Launchbox loading bar appears - Launchbox opens, but a) the usual beta version splash screen doesn't apear, and b) the Launchbox taskbar "deskband" is coloured orange (usually indicating that something needs attention) I can then select games in Launchbox and things seem to be OK - as long as the main Launcbox windows remains the "active" Window. If I do something that stops the main Launchbox window from being the active window - e.g. by editing a game, or minimising Launchbox and then maximising again, I get the following: - Launchbox is mostly unresponsive; the only thing that I can do it change the "hover" selection box by moving the mouse over the games. I cannot select a game, edit it, or select anything in Launchbox at all. I cannot even close or minimise the window using the app - I have to right-click on the taskbar box and then select "close window". I have tried a restart, but problem pesists. @Jason Carr Any help appreciated!
  20. Nice - but wouldn't it to be better to have the proper/original spines?
  21. Just to clarify - this problem seems to be specific to MAME.
  22. I hadn't fired up BigBox in a while and tried it today, but am having a problem with it. I can launch games through Launchbox fine, but when I try and launch the same game via BigBox it doesn't work. I get the loading screen, then a blank black screen for around 10-15 seconds, then the exit screen, and then back to BigBox. I don't know if this is connected to the pixellated mouse cursor problem. Any help appreciated! @Jason Carr
  23. It is check marked. I haven’t checked the folders, but they correctly identified as screenshots when you edit the game details.
  24. Another problem - screenshots sometimes don't show in the game details pane (though when you go to edit the game, they are there).
  25. Keep up the great work, and Merry Christmas Found a small bug: in the platform details edit window, the text in the "notes" tab overruns the edge of the box. This is consistent when resizing the box also. See pic:
