  1. Device images have always been something you had to manually add into LaunchBox, so it sounds like sometime in the past you must have gone through that ritual
  2. Beta thread for version 13.16 can be found here:

  4. If you are referring to the 360 rotation, you can remove this by making a copy of the default theme, naming the copied folder whatever you want the new theme to be called. Then you can use the below file to replace the one inside of your themes View folder. CoverFlowWithDetailsGamesView.xaml
  5. We did manage to recreate the issue and we'll have a fix for it in an upcoming beta.
  6. Hi @clydemystik325, can you be more specific about the exactly what you've attempted. We'd love an example of the exact platform, games, and the method you are using to import the games. Screenshots can also help clarify exactly what you are seeing.
  7. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We'll take a look into this and see what exactly is going on here and adjust the database if needed.
  8. Yes, but it's not necessary to launch a different core that's not listed in our list. You can download the core, place it into the LaunchBox\Emulators\RetroArch\Cores folder, then inside of the Emulator Settings for that platform, you should see an option to set a custom core. You'll find the core in the list and LaunchBox takes care of the rest. Curious which core(s) are you referring to here?
  9. Beta 2 is now out with the following changes: A new method of adding custom emulators has been added. Use the "Custom Emulator (With Code)" option, within your Emulator Settings, which can leverage existing emulator launch code from other frontends Managing your Android app library has become easier! A new "Manage Apps" section lets you choose which apps appear within LaunchBox. Find it under the Android platform menu or the Options menu Sorting by Star Rating is now more accurate. When your games lack personal ratings, LaunchBox will use community star ratings to sort LaunchBox now gracefully handles your library in a less destructive way when exceeding the 100-game limit without a license Resolved an issue with the Dolphin integration, introduced in beta 1, caused by recent changes to Dolphin's website and app version handling
  10. Hi Everyone, We've deployed a small update to the Games Database that includes the following: Added ability to delete submitted changes: Users can now delete changes they've submitted within a 30-minute window under the Changes Status section. After this period, the changes will enter the moderation queue. Resolved search results display issue: Fixed an issue where the search results string could incorrectly display a "20%" instead of a space when using new search options. Game locking framework: We've laid the groundwork to independently lock games and their fields from future changes. You may start seeing the odd locked field in the near future once the infrastructure for this has been completed.
  11. I see, it looks like you got yourself into a situation where your arcade playlists got orphaned in the root of your Platform Categories section. You can fix it the UI friendly way, by right clicking each playlist, editing it, and going into the Parents tab and moving it into the Arcade category. Or you can do it the UI-unfriendly way, by closing LaunchBox. Navigating to your LaunchBox\Data\Playlists folder, identifying each one of those Arcade playlists and deleting them. Then enter back into LaunchBox, right click your Arcade platform and choose "Create Missing Arcade/MAME Playlists..."
  12. I'm guessing here, but does this mean that you tried to install the Neon Deluxe Arcade LaunchBox theme and it's not working when you try and apply it? What steps did you take to download, install, and apply the theme so far?
  13. There's now a 30 minute delay from when you submit a change to when it makes it into the mod queue, so at this point I'm hoping your stuff did make its way there. During that window, you'll now have the ability to delete your change under the Changes Status section.
  14. Thanks for the report. We've been able to confirm that it came from an update we just put through this morning, and we will look into fixing it up as quickly as we can. Glad the images are still going through, as it sound more like the visual cue is missing.
  15. Version 13.15 - Released July 2, 2024 Full Changelog: https://www.launchbox-app.com/about/changelog New Feature: This update introduces a new Plugin Manager, allowing for easier management and discovery of plugins for LaunchBox New Feature: LaunchBox is no longer bundled with ScummVM directly. Instead, it can be downloaded via the ROM Import Wizard or the Add Emulator Window, as well as updated/repaired via the Edit Emulator Window. This simplifies the installation process and ensures you have the latest version available New Feature: The process for importing your ScummVM titles has been streamlined through the ROM Import Wizard, allowing for bulk importing of ScummVM games New Feature: Added support for automatic import of Vita3k games that have been added into its virtual hard drive, when the Vita3k emulator is added into LaunchBox and the Automatic Import of ROMs is enabled New Feature: Added support for automatic import of RPCS3 games that have been added into its virtual hard drive, when the RPCS3 emulator is added into LaunchBox and the Automatic Import of ROMs is enabled Improvement: RAHasher has been updated to the latest version, which improves the hashing of PSP games that are in CHD format Improvement: Several new command-line variables have been added for increased control over your emulators Improvement: Steam searching has been improved to fall back to a title search if the game ID isn't found in the LaunchBox database. This ensures a wider range of Steam games can be accurately identified Improvement: Steam scraping has been improved to better align certain values with corresponding LaunchBox fields. This provides a more consistent user experience when importing Steam games Improvement: Inactive database IDs associated with games will now be automatically cleared or replaced by the Download Metadata and Media wizard. This keeps your LaunchBox data up-to-date and avoids potential errors Improvement: The database search now utilizes information within parentheses when matching games. This leads to more accurate identification of titles with similar names Improvement: The image search fallback logic has been adjusted to remove double spaces when searching for images. This ensures a smoother image acquisition process Improvement: Optimized emulator file extension priorities to help with MSU systems Improvement: Our Dependency Files feature will now automatically detect your system directory by reading your RetroArch configuration file Fixed: A crash related to the "Emulator Not Configured" popup has been resolved Fixed: The ROM import wizard once again prompts users to confirm whether they want to move or copy the ROMs to their designated game folder Fixed: A bug that prevented the scan for achievements from correctly capturing all achievement progress has been resolved Fixed: 3D box models now properly respect the depth override setting when using a spine image Fixed: A rare error that could crash LaunchBox while checking emulator dependencies has been fixed Fixed: The sample command line box in the Edit Emulator window has been fixed to properly function with all available command-line variables Fixed: We will now globally enable overlays within your RetroArch configuration file when you choose to download bezels through LaunchBox Fixed: An issue where the set media limit wasn't enforced during imports or metadata and media downloads Fixed: The version badge now displays correctly when combining two GOG games Fixed: A bug where images could incorrectly be linked to more than one game with similar names Fixed: The Amazon Games install flag now sets correctly on startup
  16. Is it me or is the game details just getting jiggy with the music? 😉
  17. Beta 7 is out with the following: Improved: Preview and bonus game versions are now deprioritized during imports Fixed: Corrected game title parsing from folders Fixed: RPCS3 now prioritizes the base game title during import Fixed: A rare issue that could occur while parsing the "games.yml" file has been resolved
  18. It's on our list, but it will be a while before we can get to it as it requires a number of dependencies to be in place before that emulator can be tackled. It will also require a special import process that's different than anything else we currently have right now.
  19. Beta 6 is now out with the following: Improved: Import a wider variety of MSU-MD files and use more import methods for these files Fixed: Accessing the Plugin window while offline is now possible Fixed: Storefront auto-imports will now fail more gracefully when offline Fixed: RPCS3 virtual hard drive paths are now prioritized during import, taking into account game updates Fixed: The RPCS3 game import process is now more efficient, no longer causing out-of-resource errors
  20. Beta 5 is out with the following changes: Improvement: Our Dependency Files feature will now automatically detect your system directory by reading your RetroArch configuration file Improvement: Optimized emulator file extension priorities to help with MSU systems (This is not 100% complete for this release. More work will go into this one before final release) Fixed: Resolved an issue where Big Box could remain the topmost window unexpectedly Fixed: We will now globally enable overlays within your RetroArch configuration file when you choose to download bezels through LaunchBox
  21. Beta 4 is now out with the following changes: New Feature: Added support for automatic import of Vita3k games that have been added into its virtual hard drive, when the Vita3k emulator is added into LaunchBox and the Automatic Import of ROMs is enabled New Feature: Added support for automatic import of RPCS3 games that have been added into its virtual hard drive, when the RPCS3 emulator is added into LaunchBox and the Automatic Import of ROMs is enabled Improvement: RAHasher has been updated to the latest version, which improves the hashing of PSP games that are in CHD format For Vita3k testers: the way the emulator works is that all games need to be added into the emulator and onto its virtual hard drive before you can play the game. If you add Vita3k as an emulator into LaunchBox (there should now be a Vita3k emulator profile to choose from the dropdown which comes pre-loaded with the right settings. If you don't see it, you may need to run Tools > Download > Force Update Games Database Metadata...) and you have our auto-import process enabled, you should be able to start up LaunchBox and see your games be imported. From there, you can test the scan for added and removed ROMs functionality. If you add or remove a game from Vita3k's virtual hard drive, then run the Scan for Added/Removed ROMs feature, you should be prompted to add/remove the game from LaunchBox. The same also goes for RPCS3 for people willing to test. Thanks everyone.
  22. Never heard of MSU-MD, can you send me a PM with information about it. Yeah, RetroAchievements changed this sometime late last year to help with all the issues they were having for most of 2023. This, unfortunately, ended up being the unintended side-effect to their change.
  23. Kind of curious how you were setting some things up. It kind of sounds like you may have some user config issues, but it's unclear where. Are you able to send me a PM with your Data files, I'll dig around them.
  24. Version 13.8 is the last version that works with Windows 7.
  25. Beta 3 is out with the following: Improvement: Scan for Added/Removed ROMs now works with games imported through the new ScummVM process Fixed: Potential crash that could occur during Dolphin updates Fixed: An issue that prevented auto-importing ScummVM games with a relative path in the game folder In a stunning display of red tape acrobatics, the "Manage LaunchBox Themes" and "Manage Plugins" options have successfully navigated the labyrinthine bureaucracy to establish themselves within the Tools > Manage menu
