  1. Was LB closed when you removed the files? If not it needs to be. If it was, I would say close LB again, remove those files, then try a reimport. That Missing.Serial.txt is not something from LB. Sounds like something from a plugin. Look in your \Plugins folder and see what you have in there or if the 18TB is a preloaded drive maybe its from the builder. Not sure, but I know it is not anything LB generates.
  2. Well that's the issue. 1. Those txt files are not generated by LB. So whatever plugin or additional program you are using to probably scrape game meta is doing that. LB does not generate text files. I would open those files and see if it has a header field showing what generated it. 2. The biggest issue is there should never been any additional paltform xaml or txt files in that folder. Those ones you labeled backup need to be store in a different folder. LB will attempt to read them that is why you are seeing issues. LB is getting confused. Move all those extra platform xaml and txt files out and you should see LB function correctly. In the future leave that folder to LB and what it generates. You can make a sub folder in there to store backups and test files, but never directly in the \Data\Platforms folder.
  3. What does the contents of your \Data\Platform folder look like (post a pic).
  4. There error is telling you one of the files is corrupted. Just do what it is advising and see if it fixes. On the external drive go into the \Backups folder and open one of the zips. Copy the Arcade.xaml to the \Data\Platforms folder.
  5. Without seeing you set-up in LB it is hard to tell what you have wrong. >Tools >Manage >Emulators and edit Mame. Post pics of the Details tab and the Associate Platforms tab.
  6. That is a bit conflicting. If you had LB set up Mame it would have used the most current. You are using a very old version of Mame. If you are using 0.109u3 version the likely issue is there is a command line option that is probably not working with that old of a Mame version. The line below is added to LB set-ups for Mame to allow for pause menu feature to work. You can try deleting it from the "Default Command Line Paramters" section in Mame set-up in LB. -keyboardprovider dinput My recommendation would be to scrap the old version and get a more modern set of roms and version of Mame.
  7. It down and has been for a few hours. Our dev team was notified.
  8. I would suspect not. If a rom file in the folder is not represented in LB it would be scanned as new import. There is not a field in any LB data file that shows a game in the folder was previously added but deleted. So no current way LB would know not to re-add it.
  9. Did you manually setup Mame in LB or did you have LB download and install? What version are you using? You mentioned the games play within various versions of Mame.
  10. Probably share an image of the Details and Associated Platforms tab when you edit the emulator. Just set this up to test and works fine launching games.
  11. /[Theme Name]/Images/Platforms/Clear Logo is typically the normal path. Most themes do not use all the other sub folder image types for platforms that the defaul image path would have which is why you see a slightly different structure. Keep in mind since these are user created custom themes any theme creator can dictate the internal folder structure. So it is always best to look through the theme's folders and confirm where exactly those images are.
  12. That is typically a video. So you need to ensure you either have a platform video in the \Video\Platforms folder. There are videos specifically designed for Colorful you can download. Additionally, you can place videos in the theme's folder and only that theme will use them. This is useful if you want to have specific video styles for a specific theme. In this case if you want to use the Colorful videos only for the Colorful theme you place them in the theme's specific video folder.
  13. I am sure the devs will. They have made some quick updates to the new feature. So users just need to make sure to keep testing and providing feedback. I agree it would be nice to have an option to choose the blackilst of file types. Similar to how we can choose types of images to include/exclude.
  14. No. There are currently no additional settings in the menus for this.
  15. Just to clarify, the Full Set Import option works differently than the standard file/rom import. The Full Set Importer does not really import files. It simply generates a list of "working" roms based of the Mame.xam file from the version of Mame you told LB you use. So that feature will not copy the filtered games because it is not actually importing any files. It is this way to keep from breaking Mame if users try to move files in case they are using a split or non-merged rom set.
  16. What I mentioned works. I just tested it. Was able to add the speed hack to my existing Full Set Import and it now shows and an alternate option to run.
  17. You may have to check the option for "Force Import Duplicates" on the "Specify Any Custom Options" page and then select "Import all Clones" on the "How would you like to import" screen.
  18. If you need 2 Mame versions then all you have to do is set it up the same way as the first one and call the emulator a different name. Then in the Associated Platform tab of that second version be sure to add the platform names for any platforms that will use it.
  19. Go into that arcade platform in LB and select all the games (click on one game then hit CTRL+A). Then go >Tools >Download >Update Metadata and Media. That will open the media wizard and you can follow the steps to download specific media options or all media for the games.
  20. Your post is pretty vague. Complete pack of what exactly?
  21. More information would help/ In LaunchBox or BigBox? What Pause theme did you apply? Did you unzip the theme and file it correctly? Did you bind a key/button to activate Pause and note you need to bind this in LB and BB as they have separate bindings.
  22. Well, if it imports and it's a case of some names having issues then not really anything the team needs to do to "add the possibility of importing .Neo" files. They already import. If named using Mame naming logic all games are recognized.
  23. That Sony Playstation Vita(O) was the issue. That is what I meant by any xaml with an alternative name to the existing platform. You cannot save any additional files in that folder or LB will try to use them. If you make copies, backups, or anything additional you need to save in another folder. Best option would be make a subfolder inside the \Data\Platforms and save them in that.
  24. In your \Data\Platforms folder do you keep any platform xaml backups or are there any alternate versions of the Vita xaml in there such as Sony Playstation Vita_backup.xaml or Sony Playstation Vita_old.xaml? We usually see what is happening when a users keeps copies or backups of platform xaml files in that folder. You need to remove those or LB will try to read them.
  25. Like @Lordmonkus the .neo files can be imported without much issue. If your file names have the full game name it should pull data unless you have "Scrape As" set to something other than "Arcade". I tested importing .neo rom files and they imported without issue. My .neo are basically named like Mame roms for NeoGeo are. Hence why there is not issue matching them to the DB.
