  1. Email support@unbrokensoftware.com and let them know you are on win 7 and need a copy of 13.8 LB.
  2. You are experiencing something different than what the original post is about. If you are not actually getting a specific error then it could be a few different things. If LB is just not opening at all check to see if your antivirus has quarantined anything related to LB (we have seen overly aggressive AV do this on updates). If that is not the issue try to reinstall a version prior to 13.10 and see if it opens.
  3. If you are on Win 7, 8, or 8.1 then LB 13.10 and future versions will not work any longer. Updates required now make 13.9 the last LB/BB versions that will work on any of those older OS.
  4. Ah crap my bad. Android bit me again. I have not messed with Android much so I cannot help much. Well, it is not really like I helped at all.
  5. Additionally you can just launch the mame.exe without a game. Then while Mame is open just go to >Configure Options >Configure Directories >Roms then just manually locate your folders. Save that and the ini file and your Rom/CHD paths will be set.
  6. Thanks @JoeViking245 and @skizzosjt for chiming in. Joe did mention the AHK install part and I forgot to edit my post. I forget sometimes some software used over the years is not normally installed by others.
  7. @100dedo I deleted your other post. Please do not post the same thing in multiple threads.
  8. When you say "not showing a file" or that it is hidden can you clarify exactly where you mean. As there is a difference in 1: Not showing in the list of games to import when inside the Import Wizard. and 2: Not showing in your C64 LB platform after being imported. In this case hidden usually means you have one of the “Hide Games Missing” options checked under the View menu in LB. If you have any of those checked just change the drop-down box under the search box in the left side of LB to "Games Missing Media". You then get a list of filters and can see hidden games. LB is file agnostic and does not know nor care if it is a game file or not. It imports what you tell it. With exception to the Mame Full Rom set importer and/or ticking the box the "Use Mame Metadata" when importing. If a game is not in our LB Games DB it will still get imported just not have any metadata or images. LB does not compare if a game is in our DB to determine if it should import/show the game. I do not have C64 games imported so I did a test with a few roms and AlleyKat (I hope is the same game you are referring to). It imported using the name the rom file was named and pulled no metadata or images from our DB since it is not there.
  9. The steps are in my post. I numbered the steps so it is cleaner to read.
  10. You could make a launcher exe for it to run the game and send the AHK script. 1. In the game's exe folder right click an empty space and choose New AutoHotKey Script. 2. A new file will appear so give it a name. I called this one "Adventure of Link Enhanced Launcher". Once you rename it open the file with Notepad or Notepad++ 3. Write your own/better script or past in the one I used below. Now save the file. 4. Right click on that ahk file and choose Compile Script. A new exe will be created. 5. Point LB to that as the game's file. I tested this using something JoeViking helped me with a few years ago and it worked without issue. I am sure there is better code/format for this. I have only tinkering knowledge of coding/AHK scripting. So maybe skizzosjt can make better sense of my patchwork. For some reason it would only work if I used the name Windows was showing when the app was running. Maybe using the exe name I had a typo, but I was rushing so you can try with the exe name in the WInWait line. Run, Z2TAOL_P03.exe WinWaitActive, GameMaker: Studio Send {Alt Down}{Enter}{Alt Up} $Esc:: Send, !{F4} ExitApp Return
  11. None of those would cause the issue. I suspect it is what I mentioned to try. I asked about a TV because sometimes the TV is set to 30hz and not 60hz. That -waitvsync messes up one of my cabinets with LB/Mame.
  12. Are you using LB on a TV or a computer monitor? Can you test something? In LB go to >Tools >Manage >Emulators and then select Mame and edit. In the default command lines section remove just the item below. -waitvsync Save the change and then try that game.
  13. Just have retroarch added in your LB. Then edit Retroarch and in the Associated Platforms tab make sure you add the name of your Arcade platform and select the correct core. You can either bulk edit all games for Arcade and change the default emulator to Retroarch or select specific games and change only those to retroarch. Best thing though would be to find out why you are having audio issues as RA's Mame core is not better than Mame stand alone. What game is having audio issues and what is the exact issue.
  14. Region you chose to prefer in your import would typically not make roms not work. Mame roms typically do not work for several common reasons. 1. The Mame rom version you have is not compatible with the Mame version you are using. This is not to common of an issue, but can be if using a really old rom and trying to use more current Mame. 2. You have a bad rom. You can always tell if this is the case by running the rom in Mame without using LB. If it does not work that way it is either a bad rom or see #1. 3. You have a setting wrong in LB or you did not define the rom path for Mame if you stored your roms outside of the Mame.exe folder. This however, would usually affect all roms not just some. 4. A user only having a partial Mame rom collection (a curated set of roms) and importing using the "Full Mame Rom Set" import option. The Full Rom Set option is only for an actual Full Mame Rom Set. There are others but these are the most common.
  15. I think you are overcomplicating things by trying to separate out or use specific roms for CPS/NeoGeo. At least that is my guess based on what I am reading. Here is what I recommend to keep it simple. 1. Google Pleasuredome.io and the first link to show up is their github. Click that link and scroll down until you see "Mame Full Sets". Download which ever version you want. They will all work but each has their own unique use (I usually use the merged set). 2. Once you have a current full mame rom set use the LB Full Mame Rom set importer. Leave all check boxes it sets on by default and choose whatever child playlists you want when you get to the section. The Full set import UI will create all the arcade boards such as Neo Geo, CPS, CPS2, Cave, etc. Now you will have a current properly working Mame rom set and have the different boards split out. I recommend reading this and following the Youtube video linked.
  16. What is it you are really trying to accomplish? Knowing what you really want imported would give a better idea of what to recommend.
  17. If the curated set you imported does not actually contain those roms for the playlist then nothing will show. Those playlist are really meant for use when importing a Full Mame Romset. LB will read the Mame.xml file for the version of Mame you are using and generate the child playlists for the various arcade boards and other common playlist types.
  18. Did you import a Full Mame romset or a currated set of Mame/CPS roms?

    What is the error message?
  20. What exactly are you trying to do within the Manage Themes UI? The UI does allow you to apply themes you have already downloaded without being online. However, without being online you would not be able to see any updates to themes or new themes. Keep in mind the Manage themes UI would only show new updates for themes or new themes if the theme builder submitted the new theme or theme updates to the LB team for testing and then inclusion to the UI. The Theme manager would not show anything related to new updates or new themes for themes that are only submitted to the forum. Below are images of the UI not connected to the internet and the UI when connected. No Internet: Internet:
  21. How are you changing the view? In the BB settings menus or via a designated key/button set to "Change View"?
  22. Yes. If you are importing them into a CPS platform make sure you set the “Scrape As” for the platform to “Arcade”.
  23. Can you provide some pics. Just tested several platforms and no issues with it changing.
  24. How did you file the theme? The theme needs to be unzipped and the main theme folder (the named folder) should be store in \LBThemes folder. So it should look like \Launchbox\LBThemes\Airy then inside the Airy folder is all the theme files and folders.
