I followed the steps you provided, the games still dont launch.

2 issues with Demul, 1. With all the Dreamcast games i have, demul only runs Sega Bass fishing. Everytime I go to change a game in GDROM and hit Load Dreamcast, it continues to only load that game. Any idea why? 2. I tried adding Demul in Launchbox, checked No spaces box, put %l -run=dc -image=%r in the Default command line parameters, then Demul doesnt load the game when hitting a game through LB. The exact same problem as Yabuse for Saturn, it only pops up the application, doesnt run any game. I would go to retroarch, but time and time again Ive changed out the bios, tried different games and retroarch refuses to load either saturn or dreamcast, I feel lost Thanks for any help you might be, this has been pretty frustrating.

When running standard Mame itself everything works fine, but running it through launchbox produces an issue where I cant move the stick, I can only press buttons. Oddly enough this hasnt been an issue before, it worked fine through LB two weeks ago. Havent updated LB since either.

When i launch a saturn game with yabuse LB only pulls up the emulator, no game. I found a 3 year old thread on here about it and everything I tried from it didnt work. the command a- i- just made the emulator full screen in LB, still no game loading. Im running Yabuse 0.9.15 Has anyone found a way to this fixed since the last thread? Any Help would be greatly appreciated. And also, for some reason, I couldnt get the saturn cores to work in RetroArch. Cant seem to get many systems working in retroarch. Probably just me.

I downloaded NullDC and played some of my ROMs with it and all worked just fine. I then imported NullDC to Launchbox and after I did that, i cant get the emulator to work. When I Launch a game now, it gets to the sega screen, and then it crashes. I get the " NullDC has stopped working" message. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the emulator and running it without launchbox, still the same problem oddly. Very frustrating! Im not sure if this is a launchbox issue, But i do know that I started getting these problems when i first imported it to LB.

Sorry if this is a silly question. I just wanna make sure im doing this right. Since I dont see " Create junction " do I hit "Junction" in Drop As?

I am sure this question has been answered on here, I couldnt find it though. I am doing a big box build, I use EmuSync to download videos, artwork Etc. Often, there are games that dont have a background in bigbox. Itll have the Box art, clear logo and video, but no background for the game on Bigbox, So I find an image I want for it online, and place it in a folder, then it appears. BUT, for some games I dont like the backgrounds that EmuSync Downloads, So i find my own, place it in the same folder as I described above, then other images still show up from EmuSync, its like they rotate them out because theres more than one. Is bigbox configured to pull multiple locations for background images, and if so, is there anyway to narrow that down to one location? Example: for SNES, can it pull from just the folder Images/Fanart Backgrounds? That way I could always put sets/add new photos to just one Emulator specific folder.

Trying now. And yeah, wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if I had to reinstall with updated image. Will let you know the result!

Sorry. Figured Id give it a try here. Ill stick with LB questions in the future.

I re installed windows 10 today on my operating system. I upgraded my Mobo and CPU and was told a fresh OS install is always best after upgrading. Launchbox and everything associated with it, ( games, media etc ) was all on my external drive. I plugged it back in my PC today after reinstalling my OS and a message pops up saying I need freamwork 4.7 to open LB. When I download framework 4.7 or 4.7.1, it says my OS is incompatible with it, so I did some research on that, and found out I needed the creators update for 4.7 and attempted updating to that. It downloads about 60 percent of the update and my PC comes back and says there is a problem and windows cant install the updates. Tried restarting PC/Update, same error over and over. If this technically isn't a LB Specific question I do apologize. This forum has been great to me and a huge help with LB and any help would be greatly appreciated. I just wanna get back to making my LB build!!!

Sorry for the late reply. Been a very busy week with work. Heres a screenshot with SNES highlighted in associated platforms and the manage emulators screen. Ive tried beetle and mednafen and both still dont launch SNES through launchbox. Anything missing maybe?

I'm unable to get SNES games to load. Ive went into associated platforms and the Emulator name matches the Associated platform name, have went into retroarch itself and tested a snes core and it worked, I downloaded all cores, not sure if that matters or not. All other systems work fine with retroarch though!

I had a feeling it was most likely that. I was thinking since it only happens in dolphin it somehow could of been the emulator? Is there anything I can do about that? Maybe a better hub and a shorter cable? Im trying to find the best solution when having 4 wired controllers and friends over at the house. Thanks for your reply, btw.

When i'm in BigBox and launch Dolphin, after about 30 mins of gameplay I get error message that the disc is unreadable and look up to find my keyboard, mouse, everything that is plugged in via usb port malfunctions and stops working completely and I have to turn the PC on and off. Im not sure if its BigBox, Dolphin, or anything. I am using a USB hub I connect my 3 controllers to, its a cheaper walmart model. Not sure if that would be it either. I have it connected to a 10 foot USB extension cord. Just curious if anyone had any thoughts on it or similar issues. It was pretty embarrassing last night when trying to show off my build to my friends!

I have not had any success with retroarch using my mame set. I decided to use my stand alone MAMEUI emulator that runs my whole set fine, but havent found a way to exit mame properly. When mapping my button on the controller to B for exit, i exit the game as Im playing and pressing B, so im not sure where to go from here! Kinda lost.
