LogicalEgo Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Okay, aside from my previous 32X and SuperGrafx request. I have another . Arcade with Alien vs Predator. Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 4, 2017 Author Posted January 4, 2017 Here are some for SuperGrafx. Mado King Granzort... it uh... it sure is a game! ...the options for SuperGrafx are fairly limited Ghouls 'n Ghosts will be on the banner. Normal: Scanlines: Normal - Version 2: Scanlines - Version 2: 1 Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 4, 2017 Author Posted January 4, 2017 These are now available in the downloads section as well. I'll see what I can come up with for AVP. 1 Quote
LogicalEgo Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 You could prob use the SNES box art since it is the official art from the cab too. I think!? I saw one last year that used it on the side panels at a convention. Could have been custom too though *shrug* Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 4, 2017 Author Posted January 4, 2017 Yeah typically I like to stick to platform-specific versions of artwork whenever possible. Occasionally I'll make an exception like I did with the Master System simply because the SMS art is so awful, but that's pretty rare. That first flyer should work. Quote
LogicalEgo Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Good to hear, yeah I totally understand. Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 4, 2017 Author Posted January 4, 2017 Alrighty, here's an Arcade alternate. Normal: Scanlines: 1 Quote
LogicalEgo Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Wish I was on to see this earlier, dude I love it. It makes my Arcade wheel feel much more personal now. Thanks so much! Quote

LogicalEgo Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Let me know when you are ready for more request haha. For now you deserve a break. Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 You can request them whenever, I just can't guarantee that I'll be able to get to them immediately. Thursdays nights are tied up for me - DnD night! Here's one for Game Gear. It's shiny. Normal: Scanlines: 1 Quote
LogicalEgo Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Do you plan to do all the handhelds? GBC, Lynx, NeoPocket? If so all you need is the Atari 5200 and 7800 to cover most of peoples layouts. Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 I'm a lot more inclined to do the 5200/7200 (and maybe MSX) than the handhelds. The handhelds aren't out of the question, I guess I just don't really see the appeal. Why play a crappy handheld version of King of Fighters when you can just as easily play the arcade version? I understand the appeal of the actual handheld itself, but if you're just emulating on a PC either way I don't get it. I mean, to each their own, but my completely arbitrary and anecdotal guess would be that most people that have these in their library have them just for the sake of having them, not because it's something they play very frequently in earnest. GBC is probably slightly higher priority than the other two. I would assume GB, GBA, DS, GG, and PSP would accommodate the vast majority of demand for handheld platforms. 1 Quote
LogicalEgo Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Well, speaking from personal experience, the Neo Geo Pocket Color has some pretty cool RPG's that are exclusive. I would think GBC would be popular as well because of Pokebutts and a very underrated Zelda game. Can't say much about the Lynx, I do have the roms for it but I have personally never played it and I am not sure what exclusives it has. Also the Neo Pocket has a ton of really awesome box art. Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 I just noticed an issue with a few of the clear logos. Chances are no one would even notice it, especially once they're resized in BB, but my OCD tendencies require that I go through and fix them... My layer mask needs to be trimmed by 1 pixel - on darker images you can't see it but on brighter ones you can when it's on top of a black background. The background is just barely popping out from underneath the outer "ring". It's not a huge deal to fix, it's just a matter of resaving every version of all of them with the adjusted mask... Quote
LogicalEgo Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 My game room monitor can't see a difference. Quote
Zombeaver Posted January 5, 2017 Author Posted January 5, 2017 I've never seen it when they're actually in-use in BB, but I can see it when looking at some of them full-size - any of the ones that are have bright colors at the edge of the image. Once these are actually resampled to a smaller size in BB, I'm sure it disappears. Again, just OCD tendencies... I can't unsee/unknow it's there now so I gotta Quote
