I booted it up and it's still workin' like a champ. Many an hour was spent trolling around innumerable obscure sites entirely in Japanese (back before Chrome and auto-translate existed) clicking around blindly trying to find that one character that you couldn't get anywhere else. Sorting rosters, testing, adding in stages, adding in music, more testing, more trolling around the weird regions of the interweb... all of which was tied up in one of the most insane, petulant, and caustic communities I've ever encountered. Weird times.
