There are some Synthwave artists that incorporate some metal elements like that but it's somewhat rare. I know it's out there because I've heard it but I'm drawing a blank on specific artists. Even Dance With The Dead doesn't do it typically. I was mostly just going with the 80's horror flick vibe regarding Hollywood Burns. Carpenter Brut and Perturbator are great for that too. If you don't wanna bust-a-move when you're listening to that, you might be dead. I like Lady Gaga's Perfect Illusion, too (mostly the chorus verse, or whatever ya call it ("It wasn't love, it wasn't love, it was the perfect illusion") - American Horror Story used it for the 'backround music' in their TV ad). Also, as a side note, I was about 13 when I saw the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show, and I still love She Loves You (perhaps a teenage nostalgic thing...), although I don't listen to it much these days. Thanks to a radio station, my music library is 175,000+ tunes. I'm gonna try and make a couple of 'Old School' tunes (one of which was probably from before many of you were born) available to you youngin's, that might surprise you. Only two new tracks on IMPERIVM (what a tease!) but I think the next full album is supposed to be out this year. If this doesn't get your head bobbing I think there might be something wrong with you.
