My Big Box Setup w/RocketLauncher

Hi All,

This is an updated look at my setup.

I use RocketLauncher for Fades, Bezels and Universal Pause. The theme is NoshOnThis @nosh and the RocketLauncher Media is all from @RetroHumanoid. I left Hyperspin for LaunchBox last year and am not missing it one bit.

I have 30,000+ games throughout:
- 28 Arcade Systems
- 10 Computer Systems
- 46 Console Systems
- 17 Handheld Systems

Then I have 9 custom playlists (Batman, Castlevania, Crash Bandicoot, Street Fighter, Moral Kombat, TMNT, Simpsons, Mario Party, Super Mario.

This is about 10TB of data over 2 external 8TB drives. I will have full Wii set shortly which will bump me to around 15TB of data.

If you see any systems that I am emulating that you have questions on, just let me know. Some were trickier than others.

Here you go. And I have a version that says Arcade too if you want something more generic.

Love it! - How big is your launchbox folder, without the roms?

My LaunchBox folder, which only has the LaunchBox media - meaning box art, videos, etc... (no roms or emulators) is  530GB (size on disk)

My RocketLauncher folder, which only has fades, bzels and pause media - music, manuals, etc.. is 450GB (size on disk)

@angelobodetti is this whole setup available in the downloads? Like all the media and set up with rocket launcher? Set up is awesome man couple tweaks for my preference and I’d be ecstatic. Looks dope man love the media

You can create all this yourself really, like the rest of us did. All the tools and media are available to do so and if you have any questions during the set up the community here will be happy to help

Yea really no way to have the setup be dowloable. I use noshs bezels and theme, retrohumanoids fades and RocketLauncher media and a bunch of other random stuff

Thank you guys super new to all this. Started over on the raspberry pi now into retropie and hyperspin on my pc and so far really liking the looks if launchbox so I might be a converter lol I’ll look around thanks guys

The themes and videos are all from the download section of this forum. The actual playlists were made by me literally searching all games with a specific name, then right clicking and adding to playlist.

To get it to say Magazines, you essentially just use different selector images. Folder names stay the same though.

I know this is an old post but I had a question on the RL Media. Did you need to rename that at all to work with Launchbox. I used his media with Hyperspin - but wasn’t sure if the naming was consistent across front ends.
