FYI: There's a new Atari Jaguar emulator out there

For all of you Atari Jaguar fans, a new Atari Jaguar emulator has been released, named "BigPEmu". Supposedly it's the program-emulator used in the Atari 50th Anniversary Collection and has a 100% compatibility rate, including CD games (updated 2/10/23). Can't really confirm that just yet, but so far, I've got it working fine and it's running smoothly with no extra parameters in LaunchBox. Here's the link to the author's homepage:

I have given it a short test and am simply amazed at how perfect this runs as a 1.0 release. I'll always have a soft spot for the Atari Jaguar and didn't think this would ever get to the point of being playable given the pace of development. My weekend plans have just changed.

Looks great! Anyone having probs upscaling the games? I've set it to 2K but when I run the games they're in their og resolution

Has anyone had any luck setting an exit script so ESC exits the emulator?

I've tried it in fullscreen and windowed, same issue....

It works, but probably not the way you want. This is what happens when I choose the lowest resolution on Windowed. It plays in a tiny window on top.

Just expected to play the games in 2k like you can on all modern emu's been messing around in the options, still no luck....

WOW does this work great.

• Per game settings
• Per game controls 
• Save states
• Overclocking
• ...

Even though it's NOT an authentic Jaguar experience, being able to overclock the CPUs makes some of these games actually playable in an enjoyable way which they weren't on the real console.

I'm using the standard Winclose that works fine:

• I can rom bigpemu by itself fine but when i run it through launchbox, when i run a game it just brings me to bigpemu menu. Any suggestions?

Any update on a command line to launch the game directly from launchbox.  All it does is launch the emulator to its gui screen and then asks to load cartridge. Anyone can help getting the game to load directly by passing the gui.  Thanks

Here is how I have BigPemu setup in LaunchBox and launches fine via command line. Take special notice on the default command-line parameters

Ok what I did was set video resolution to borderless window and display size to my monitor size. After that it worked.  Initially I had changed it to fullscreen.  I didn't have to change anything in my cmd line.  Thanks I hope this helps ppl.
