Sharing a few screenshots of the progress....which is about 75% done overall I have spent the last 4 months upscaling and cleaning every single piece of art used in Refried 2.0...as well as making tons of new art for the update. It will cover about 70 more systems than 2.0...and utilize every single view type that big box has. RetroHumanoid Posted Thursday at 07:40 PM Author Posted Thursday at 07:40 PM (edited) Just a quick Update...I have not abandoned this project one bit...I still am tweaking things here and there,but,there some holdups... CTC has an issue with custom wheels,where if I use them in the theme,and navigate really quickly from top menu to bottom,or bottom to top,it crashes bigbox...there is no break in between menu selection like normal wheels...I have no idea why it does that...maybe @y2guru can help with that one? I can send you a copy of the theme to see what I am talking about if you want to dig into it at all. Bigbox also suffers a bit atm from a memory leak that stems from the video playback...switching to ffmpeg seemed to fix that,but then it crashes during the screensaver...I believe this was addressed in the beta,but,I like to make sure things work correctly in release before moving forward,as this is a bit frustrating. I also wanted to see if the new views,and screensaver, would be added to CTC before releasing this theme,so I can include them...rather than going back at a later date to re-release it So basically,the theme is still getting work done...just taking a bit of time because I want to release a full theme,and not one with issues Edited Thursday at 07:42 PM by RetroHumanoid 1 1 1 Quote
