With the latest beta-update, LaunchBox is crashing whenever a video plays and then I navigate to anything else in the program, using the new FFMPEG video engine. Never had this issue happen before with VLC

You getting an error we can look at or the app just hard close?

when using ffmpeg in both bigbox and desktop, if auto play videos is turned on, some videos will begin playback immediately but about five seconds into their run time. Some videos give stuttery playback (confirmed these videos play fine in external video playback apps). Other videos will have audio start playing for a few seconds before the video fades in. The behavior is consistent in the videos I found as examples.

After further testing, I have noticed a similar issue in LB (Win 11). Difficult to reproduce, does not happen consistently, but seems like selecting another game or right clicking another game while playing video, it will briefly hang and then a quick hard crash of the app.

Yep, this is pretty much an accurate description of the bug I came across as well.

Hi, when installing this update, i get many files with this error "the source file is corrupted" all on thirdparty\chromium folder. I disabled bitdefender, only windows defender is running.

Also, when installing the update, the accent on the "e" or "a" with Ã and other symbol.

Hi, I just installed the release version of 13.23 onto my Win 11 machine, and LaunchBox worked, but BigBox would not launch at all.  The screen would flash black and then back to the Windows desktop.  There was a BigBox.exe I could see in the task manager, but it never did anything.  I tried killing it and restarting a few times, never worked.  I went back to 13.22 that was/is working fine.  Has anyone else has this happen?

Having the same issue, no errors directly appearing. Reverted back to 13.23 Beta 2 which is working fine.

Prior to updating to 13.23, was running into this error also in BigBox using Beta 3:

How did you revert back?

Check your Updates folder in Launchbox, should contain a few previous versions there. Install overtop your existing install folder.

Would be nice for anyone having this issue to open Event Viewer, go into Windows Logs > Application, find the 2-3 reports about the crash, usually a couple error reports and one info report, and post them here.

The 12.23 "official release" upgrade broke my Launchbox / Bigbox install.

It launched two copies of the installer automatically, and I suspect one messed up the other.   Going to try and reinstall in a minute.  But currently, trying to launch BigBox or Launchbox does absolutely nothing.  It won't even attempt to start.
