Intended use:
Create a playlist named 'The Legend of Super Mario' Add every game in your collection that features Mario (and the Mushroom Kingdom). Sort the games on the list as “Release Date Year” Enjoy the legend, from oldest to newest game in your collection. See where your heroes have been throughout the years, and how they’ve evolved. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
This is part of the “Legend of” playlist-series.
Use auto-populate to fill your list.
Or challenge yourself by adding the games where the heroes are NOT featured in the title.
Examples?
Mario is the referees in ‘Tennis’ and ‘Punch-out!!’ on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Mario is a playable character in ‘SSX on Tour’ and ‘NBA Street V3’ on GameCube. Link is a playable character in ‘SoulCalibur II’ on GameCube. Donkey Kong is a playable character in series like ‘Mario Kart’ and ‘Smash Bros’. Street Fighter characters are not only featured in games titled ‘Street Fighter’. Don’t forget ‘Marvel Vs. Capcom’ or ‘Super Puzzle Fighter II’. Should a Jumpman game be considered a Super Mario game…? Etc.
You decide how including your ‘Legend’ should be.

Nostalgia Playlist Videos

Greetings all,
I've been a huge fan of the Nostalgia video sets that Viking and Dragon57 created and have been using them on my Big Box for a long while at this point.
A few months back I asked them for permission and access to the source files for the playlist set and they generously provided them (to everyone!)
I've been pretty busy since that time but lately I've been working on various playlist/genre videos in the style of the "Playlists" video from that set.
Feel free to edit them as well.
Thanks again to Viking and Dragon57 for making these possible.

A set of 22 Favorites Playlist category videos. These are subjective to the persons taste in games,so I included games that I prefer as favorites in the videos. Some may or may not agree with the choices used in some of the videos,but,this was made for my own personal setup,and If anyone wants to use them as well, I figured I would just make them available.At this time I have no plans to add any more of these...but,If I get the itch to make the category bigger,I may.

Here is a set of ,currently, 25 Genre videos to be used with playlists. This coincides with all of the media released in the @CriticalCid theme "Unified". I do have plans to extend this total to about 50-60 Genre Playlists,but no current time-line for release yet.Enjoy!

RetroHumanoid Collection Video Set
Here is a set of ,currently, 270 Collection videos to be used with playlists. This coincides with all of the media released in the @CriticalCid theme "Unified". I have decided to upload them here,because Jason is a busy man,and I understand how much work it could be to enter this many videos in manually. I do plan on releasing more in the future,with an estimated goal of around 500-600 total playlist videos,as well as all of the artwork for the Unified theme that's needed. I do not have an estimated time-frame as to the release of more,I just know that's the plan. While I never expect anyone to actually have 600 playlists in their BigBox setup,I do believe that variety is the spice of life,and this will give plenty of options for personalizing your lists.Enjoy!
