  1. quickest way if this ever happens again: run mame click 'general settings'...and then click on 'save settings' This will produce a default mame.ini and ui.ini for you to edit if you wish.
  2. glad to help☺️ i just changed some settings concerning visuals. got those from somewhere dont remember but i like 'em. controls get saved in the cfg folder. ([drive]:\Emulators\MAME\cfg) Either per game (nameofgame.cfg) or it uses the default.(default.cfg)
  3. No, it isn't really necessary to remove all other rows. If u don't use them they won't really bother you. If Genesis however is the only platform you EVER plan to use RetroArch with...then by all means remove all the other ones. Cause if you leave them, they will be shown in all those other platforms you have configured in your screenshot above when you right click a game...in the 'Launch With...' popup window. (They will however never use retroarch to start the game, cause they aren't the default emulator for those platforms. ) Nice u got it sorted out. Glad to have been of help☺️
  4. Ofcourse that is possible. Just have one platform called Arcade which holds ALL arcade games. Configure it with mame emulator. Then add other platforms like model 3 And when importing games for the model 3, just point to and select all individual model3 zips and import them into your other platform. Is that what u mean?
  5. The K-Lite Codec Pack is a collection of codecs and tools that enable Windows computers to play a wide variety of audio and video file formats. It's designed to provide a user-friendly way to ensure your system can handle virtually any media file you encounter. From the screenshot, u can see that VLC natively can play webm files, but if windows media player cannot...then you are missing the necessary codecs for it. Normally, when u update Launchbox, it will ask u if u want to install the K-Lite codec pack. https://codecguide.com/
  6. @ci2own : Thanks a 1.000.000 💵 ☺️. And so quickly 😁
  7. Then this should do the trick. DiscoveryPageView.xaml I've made the changes C-beats suggested in the DiscoveryPageView.xaml So make a backup from the whole 'DEFAULT' theme folder which is in following location : [DRIVE]:\Launchbox\Themes\Default Give the whole backup-folder a new name, like for instance 'DefaultAchievements' Then use my DiscoveryPageView.xaml and put it in the new DefaultAchievements themes views folder [DRIVE]:\Launchbox\Themes\DefaultAchievements\Views @Omifi : Let me know if you can see the achievements badge
  8. These are great!!!! Thank you!🙂 Only ones I am missing are the following: Pioneer Palcom Laserdisc PDP-1 Super Nintendo MSU-1
  9. @seaview59 Can I ask. How do u make all these perfect looking clear logo's from mostly just a low-res front image or poster?
  10. which format do these steam videos have? Like mkv, wmv, mpeg,...? sounds like you are missing some codecs. Did u install the K-lite codec pack when u installed Launchbox?
  11. i will try some more again tomorrow. or maybe a theme modder can shed some light on it.
  12. I tried by adding it in the discoverypage...but it doesn't show.😢 DiscoveryPageView.xaml
  13. how does the details screen look like with the achievement badge on it? Maybe I can check the xaml files to see if I can change it.
  14. OMG. Is there anywhere I can get the last hour of my life back 😁 I fell into the Papirium retrogame scam/crowdfunding/... history. Guess was curious and before I knew it I spent over an hour reading all about it.
  15. One seller has it on ebay. Sealed box. (or laminated again ofcourse 😁) https://www.ebay.com/itm/146466199062 Maybe check out the colors there.
  16. Colors don't really match with the original box. I think would look even better if the colors sorta matched with the original box. Other than that...good effort!
  17. good luck. It should work without a hitch...
  18. YES. Ofcourse first make sure to have Retroarch installed on your PC somewhere. https://www.retroarch.com/?page=platforms (ofcourse make sure to download the sega genesis core from within Retroarch, or download the cores from the retroarch website https://buildbot.libretro.com/stable/1.21.0/windows/x86_64/RetroArch_cores.7z) After Retroarch is installed just go to Tools -> Manage -> Emulators Click on ADD. Lets say Retroarch is installed on D:\Retroarch Then in the add emulator screen -> the application path just point it to your D:\Retroarch\retroarch.exe And in the 'associated platforms' just choose 'Sega Genesis' as associated platform Name (this has to be the name you gave the platform where your Sega Genesis games now are, so just scroll to it) Then choose the core 'genesis_plus_gx_libreto' Commandline : -fullscreen Leave 'Default Emulator' unchecked. Make sure all required BIOS files are in the D:\Retroarch\system folder Check here for the required bios files : https://docs.libretro.com/library/genesis_plus_gx/ And from there on you are good to go. It should then launch in Retroarch when for instance u edited 'The Adams Family' game to use Retroarch.
