  1. The problem is that from the moment you installed it even just once it's dead because we haven't isolated the problem yet and we don't really know where it comes from so the fact that you come back won't change anything I( went back to 13.21 and big box doesn't start even without an intro video) Fortunately I always have a neutral setup in case of a blow so think it can be useful in a case like this. for the moment my main configuration is frozen whatever I do.( same thing with the beta 13.24.1)
  2. PS4 PLATEFORM THEME View File The last big console was really lacking in platform themes. After more than a year of Patreon exclusivity, it was about time to make it public! Perfect timing too: emulation is finally starting to take off (The Last Guardian is now almost fully playable on Shad4 šŸ‘€). *I also included a legendary hat unforgettable E3, back when announcements were absolutely mind-blowing. An era we truly miss, when reveals weren’t just news—they were full-on spectacles! let’s keep the numbers rolling, because I’ve got a production summary spanning… well, almost 10 years! 125 console themes → literally more than the number of officially released consoles… (but hey, that’s because there’s V1, V2, V3 versions) here a little panel: For Follow or support : https://www.deviantart.com/pademonium https://www.patreon.com/padcinematic_prod https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_XcPcxBIY7OEvePbsbDCIg?view_as=subscriber Submitter PadeMoNiuM Prods Submitted 08/25/2025 Category Platform Theme Videos

  4. My ultimate island companion: Link’s Awakening Honestly, if I could only take one game with me to this deserted island… it would be Link’s Awakening. Why? Because it brings back the best of our 90’s memories, and if I’m stuck on an island, I might as well play a game that lets me explore another one! Between the poetry hidden in every corner, the music rocking me like the waves around me, and the little puzzles that keep me busy for hours, it’s a true gem of nostalgia. Every boss, every dungeon, every secret reminds me why video games can be pure magic. And let’s be honest: if Link can save Koholint Island, then I can definitely survive here with a coconut and a bit of imagination ^^
  5. Maybe look at the codecs if you use HEVC it often causes black screens! This is the only time I had a black screen with big box, it might be a clue! You never know
  6. I had trouble getting Big Box to work! But it came back to 13.22 and I made a backup, otherwise it wouldn't start! I don't know where this is coming from, but this all seems pretty persistent. It doesn't come at the right time either. Good luck to the team!
  7. Hey guys, on my end I can confirm that Big Box won’t launch… it loads for a bit, then black screen and straight back to the desktop! I’ll try reinstalling to see if that helps, otherwise I’ll roll back to 13.22 for now.
  8. Hey everyone! This year, I worked closely with an artist who created a Blender model of the Super Disc (a commercial version of the MSU prototype) based on the latest statements from the developers as well as the design of the Satellaview (a Super Famicom add-on, released only in Japan starting in 1995). The new logo is once again based on the official acronym of the Super Disc used by the developers at the time! Nothing was left to chance, and I think this is the cleanest version a commercial, final release of the console could have achieved. Even Secret of Mana isn’t a coincidence, as it was the title planned for the machine’s launch day! Creating these assets doesn’t undermine the work of other creators who were inspired by the MSU prototype logo. Instead, it gives people a choice and offers a new alternative for those who want it. You can stick with the ā€œMSU prototype logoā€ style or go for ā€œthe Super Discā€ style. This representation of the Super Disc is certainly one of the most beautiful and realistic proposals so far. Everyone can choose the style they prefer! I’m leaving some media here for anyone who wants to start a project. I’ve already started making a few myself! I really like the simple, no-frills model—it’s probably closer to the direction Nintendo would have gone back then. I had started some stuff but didn’t have the time to finish it! If any of you want to take it further, I can provide the template(s). here ā€œWhat I’ve startedā€
  9. Yes, there are two possibilities. Either the person has left and is no longer on the forum, so their message gets deleted, or the source itself has disappeared. That happens sometimes. Were you looking for something in particular? I might be able to help. As for the first image, I think it’s actually the original logos from the Legacy Pack in LaunchBox. Regarding the other message, I’m not quite sure what it is, but I have quite a few things on Sonic, so I could probably send them to you.
  10. I'm just posting this here! If any of them catch your eye, let me know and I'll make sure to post some! I just finished Switch 2 this afternoon, I'm already ready!
  11. Cyberpunk ! 4 years later! lol I waited for all the updates and the last one has just come out (2.30) here I am, embarking on perhaps one of the biggest productions of recent years and I'm having a blast! The quality of the writing, cdproject, the atmosphere! I'm 4 hours into the game and I've already had a few slaps here and there! It feels good to play again!
  12. NB is about to take a full 360° turn. Let me drop this right here — read carefully: 🧩 Core features already integrated (and upcoming ones!) for Nostalgic Bedroom: šŸŽ® NB Interface An immersive, nostalgic launcher crafted like a love letter to retro gaming. 🧾 Ultima Editions Standalone experiences dedicated to iconic franchises — 100% polished and ready to play. šŸ„‹ MUGEN IRL A custom-built fighting game in the style of Cardd Saga Wars, with a tailored roster and IRL-style stages. šŸ—‚ļø NostalgicGridDB A visual and audio-driven media library, inspired by SteamGridDB — but fully integrated into NB. šŸ•¶ļø VR Support Fully explorable immersive rooms with ambient triggers and interactive zones. šŸŽ® NB Fetcher The built-in module that lets you download games directly from within the interface — without breaking the magic. What it does: šŸ“„ Direct downloads of games (or media packs) from NB šŸ” Search by title, platform, collection, or genre šŸ“ Auto-installation in the correct folder šŸŒ€ Instant integration into NB — the game shows up in your collection, ready to launch ✨ Bonus features coming soon: Game/media preview before install Offline mode with media caching Community upload system for trusted contributors šŸ¤– Archivist AI (in development) A living memory of 80s gaming culture, stories, and forgotten gems. Objectif : šŸ‘‰ Fuse nostalgia, culture, and interactivity into a single, unified experiencešŸ‘€
  13. Yet another thing you won't find anywhere else... This MUGEN Nostalgic Bedroom Edition isn’t just another custom fighting game. Seriously… a MUGEN with IRL-style environments?! No one’s ever really done that — but it works. It works beautifully. This isn’t some random fan edit; this is a natural extension of the Nostalgic Bedroom universe, another piece of the puzzle — but a piece that’s playable, alive, and dripping with style, keeping the same vibe, same references, and the same obsessive care. šŸŽ® You start with a dream team: Link Cloud Samus Dante Captain Commando X (Mega Man X) VotĆ© Card (from Cardd Saga Wars, for that rare and stylish touch) in the end there will be almost forty people, even more More will come, but there's no filler here. Only iconic characters, with HD or stylized sprites and custom animations whenever possible. šŸŽØ A screenpack inspired by Cardd Saga Wars A minimalist but sleek menu, stylish transitions, smooth animations, reworked icons… and yes, a hidden Nostalgic Bedroom easter egg tucked into the stage. šŸ”Š Atmosphere, atmosphere, atmosphere Sound, effects, lighting — every detail is crafted to immerse you fully. The visual style is 100% consistent with the universe I’ve built in Nostalgic Bedroom. No patchwork. No mix-and-match weirdness. It all fits together. šŸƒ Unlock & Discovery I’m also working on a progression system, inspired by Cardd Saga, where collectible cards (digital or physical) unlock new characters or stages. It’s a tribute to classic unlock systems — and a nod to true collectors. šŸ› ļø In development… The screenpack is currently being finalized in Fighter Factory, with: .def files coords configuration Custom portraits and refined sprites And my signature "Cinematic Pad" visual logic šŸ”® What’s next? Stages based on my own custom interfaces (NB bedroom, Ultima rooms, etc.) Secret interactive menus A standalone version that runs directly inside Nostalgic Bedroom I also built a rather original Mugen system this month, with some gems that were hard to find for some.
  14. Ouch, 2019, anyway! Nostalgic Those were the good old days! We miss those calls for contributions and that enthusiasm to motivate the community to create... Today, it's a bit like everyone's in their own corner, well... or even more so on the forum! Maybe it's no longer interesting! Know that, at least for me, I never stopped! So I'll leave it to you to imagine the amount of things I've been able to accomplish in a few years. If one day someone in the team wants to update the servers, help yourself! I posted here : and here And don't forget the video, it's the guardian of our culture; it's the ones who transmit the legacy and culture of the game
  15. Version 1.0.0

    65 downloads

  16. Thanks for sharing, I'm working on a big Mugen pack with some rarities and even some exclusives from unknown authors! But there are a lot of links that have disappeared or are dead, a real investigative job.
  17. Nice ! This style is familiar to me
  18. No worries, I'll send you a link in PM! This version is the most recent. The post in the forum still exists, I'm just waiting for a signal from the team to reupload because there were small space issues on the servers which made the upload impossible or corrupted in the end , which also explains the few reviews. Thank you 🤘
  19. Yes, I tested it, and it already works very well! It runs on RGSX, a program that lets you download games directly from the Batocera interface. Tested on PC, Batocera handheld console / Still a lot of bugs to resolve. Actually, if you want, it's a search engine (free) that simply retrieves links. It's not the kind of thing I'd use (I'm already drowning in unfinished games āœØšŸ˜‚), but adapting it would be really huge and practical! Yes, I know, the more it goes, the less effort we make to play lol
  20. While chatting with friends a few days ago, we all realized that we almost never launch our launchbox when it comes to playing a single-player game. And it's even more true when you're a seasoned player, since we're going to try to scrape together resources and instinctively close all the resource-hungry programs to gain FPS and other things. In short, we'll stick to the essentials: just click on the icon! lol For us, it's ultimately become more of a showcase for completion and memories, or a way to introduce games to my friends or my kids in a cool way. @KRI$85For your space problem, Exxodus offers a rather original solution since it offers an online storage service! I haven't tested it yet, but it looks pretty neat! Check out their Patreon. Well, what bothers me is that the day you lose internet...But it could be an idea why not for part of your configuration (like full set gbc etc)! Otherwise you can also store on classic cloud in case of hardship you already have everything available practical also https://www.patreon.com/c/Exodus_cl/home Even further back in the Batocera community,This week there's a guy who's set up a direct download platform using existing links! It's incredibly well-designed, and he's taking no risks since he's not the one hosting it (it's a search engine that retrieves the links and lets you download without leaving your couch) . I'm currently seeing if I can develop something along these lines for Launchbox; it must be completely feasible if he did it!
  21. Hey there, Saiyans! After months locked in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, I’m proud to tease my new project: DRAGON BALL MANIA – a cross-media interface 100% dedicated to the Dragon Ball universe, made with love ā¤ļø (and maybe a few senzu beans dipped in coffee to keep me going). This project is going to be pretty insane, I think! šŸ”„ WHAT IS DRAGON BALL MANIA? Simple: imagine one single place where you can access EVERYTHING Dragon Ball. šŸ“€ Anime & Movies šŸŽ® Video games (all consoles included) šŸ“š Manga, chapters, artbooks šŸ” A full encyclopedia on characters, locations, arcs… 🧠 Immersive VR experiences in the DBZ world Visit Kame House, Planet Namek… Even the most iconic fan-made animated projects! šŸŒ A French-language ultimate hub for fans, with smooth navigation, animated videos, and an interface as powerful as Vegeta’s Final Flash. ⚔ WHY? Because we deserve better than juggling 10 sites and 15 apps just to enjoy Dragon Ball content. Because I was this close to going full Majin from switching media every five minutes. And because Dragon Ball deserves to be celebrated in a format worthy of its legendary status. Let’s be honest: we’ve all dreamed of a place like this since the first time we saw Goku turn Super Saiyan. šŸ‘‰ Important: No official media (no full episodes, films, or scanned manga pages). Dragon Ball Mania contains no licensed files. It’s a visual, informative, interactive tribute – a passion project made with deep respect for the rights holders. šŸ™ Runs on the LaunchBox frontend (Windows only), so you’ll need an official license to launch the interface in ā€œyou’re-about-to-get-your-eyes-blown-awayā€ mode. (I’m not affiliated with them.) You can add your own media and file paths using the provided slots. Of course, it’s up to you to ensure you have the rights and original copies. (You’re grown-ups, right? šŸ™‚) How to support this project? There’s no official license involved. It’s funded entirely by my amazing existing supporters. It runs on passion, time, and the sweat of a hardcore fan who wants to do what Toei, Bandai, and Crunchyroll never did: āž”ļø Centralize everything āž”ļø Translate it cleanly āž”ļø Make it all accessible in a next-level fan experience šŸ’¾ Hosting files and updates šŸŽž Creating new interfaces, ambient videos, transitions, menus, and exclusive content 🧠 Designing the ultimate hub for the Dragon Ball universe šŸ‰ In short: You can be a Dragon Ball spectator… Or you can become a co-creator of its greatest digital sanctuary – and get early access 6 months before public release from the front row (only €2): šŸ‘‰ https://www.patreon.com/c/padcinematic_prod The project will be released publicly 6 months after launch. "This ain’t my first rodeo, but it’s the first time I’m diving into a universe this massive and cross-media — and trust me, I know it inside-out."
  22. Why don't you go and look at Arcade Punk? They offer a lot of things, and Coin Ops and the Retrofe team have very square structures on Rocket Launcher for example, and their builds are known for being fine-tuned to the millimeter.
  23. Large downloads won't be happening right away! It's complicated and it's a bit buggy... blocked at 4g9 maximum if you exceed your file will be corrupted, the fault of the servers running out of space. I think they'll find a solution quickly but it's annoying : /
