  1. Alright, sorry for that bug guys. A new beta is out that should fix that bug and also improve things further. Hopefully this one fairs a bit better. I still haven't touched anything outside of improvements for the image pop-ins and caching for the LaunchBox boxes. @Charco That error has been fixed but to be honest it doesn't make any sense why your data would be reverted. I've never heard of games reappearing after being deleted...had you restarted several times in between or did you just delete them, get the error, and then they showed back up on next restart? Let me know if anyone is seeing any further errors with this beta. Things should be smoother now all around. You may want to Refresh All Images as the cache file names have changed slightly, so you'll get some extraneous files otherwise.
  2. @Drybonz Work on the multi-monitor support and marquees has not started yet. Those features are planned for 7.0. The current roadmap is to put out one more release before 7.0; I plan to spend this week improving things and fixing bugs so that we're as stable as possible before I dive into major new features for 7.0. Hoping to put out 6.12 early next week and then jump into 7.0. Just put out a new beta guys that does a lot better job reducing the image pop-ins in LaunchBox as well as fixes a voice recognition bug in Big Box. Unfortunately I haven't gotten to the other bugs in this thread yet but I'll be on those very soon.
  3. Sadly I don't have a firm timeline from them. Try hitting up the RocketLauncher guys on the RocketLauncher forums; they should hopefully be able to provide you with more of a timeline.
  4. Thanks, Sidecar; good to know. I'll take a look.
  5. The Data folder contains a bunch of individual XML files instead of the singular LaunchBox.xml file. The backups folder should provide backups of all the changed files, but it might take some work to figure out which one is causing the problem. Try sorting the backups folder by date and replacing the files using the most recent backups first.
  6. What version are you using Okami? If it's 6.10 or 6.11 then the Data folder is used instead of the LaunchBox.xml file in the root.
  7. Hi guys, the new version of RocketLauncher should be out soon with proper support. Unfortunately if you downgrade to 6.9, LaunchBox will go back to using the original LaunchBox.xml file in your LaunchBox folder, so you'll lose all changes you made since 6.9, which kind of defeats the purpose. If you're up for tweaking the XML you could just add in the missing systems to your root LaunchBox.xml file, but you'd definitely need to be careful doing that and make a backup just in case something gets messed up. Sorry for the intermediate trouble with this.
  8. Hi John, this is interesting. We're using it effectively without these issues, so I'm wondering what the differences might be. Are you using LaunchBox instead of Big Box? Is that the difference?
  9. Unfortunately there's no official plugin documentation or proper support for plugins yet, sadly, but this is coming soon. Themes can do quite a lot though so do check that PDF file in the Themes folder.
  10. Yeah, it was painful to give it away but it'll be really good for us in the long haul. We're gonna have another one built by Monster Arcades with the same design but slightly tweaked buttons.
  11. Don't worry, we'll be getting another one that's pretty much exactly the same (with a few improvements). This was very much worth it for us to do because of the additional exposure we're gonna get.
  12. Hi @Eirulan, this is really just an issue with the data that came over from thegamesdb.net for that particular game. Yes, if it gets fixed in the database, emptying out the notes field should fetch the new notes using the update metadata wizard.
  13. Hi @krunchmuffin, the Rocket Launcher guys will have a new version out shortly to fix this issue.
  14. This one has been very hard to pinpoint, as it does not seem to be affecting everyone, and I have not been able to replicate it. Any details you guys can provide as to what games it's happening with would be appreciated. Also what fields or images are missing, etc. Specific games with specific details would be helpful, including the ROM's file name.
  15. Thank you @Wattoo; I'll get the translation in when I get back next week. @ounaazh I can certainly get you premium if you want to do the translation, no problem. It will take me a bit to get a translation package out to you, but hopefully I can get that to you next week.
  16. Sadly not at this point, James. We're still working on adding features like that. But no worries, it should most likely get refused by the moderators.
  17. Thanks all. I'll be back into development on Monday with the live stream. @wallmachine and @Kriven I'll look into those bugs then as well. @Lmagnus87 I'll be looking into the possibility of adding it to the Windows store but at this point I'm not sure. We'll have to see what the requirements are and such. @wallmachine That logo issue probably has to do with the math I had to fudge a tiny bit in order to prevent the ugly lines from appearing under the images. An easy fix should be just to add a pixel or two of empty padding to the image itself. I can get back to it to tweak it a little though too; we probably just need to change the numbers a bit.
  18. I use CrashPlan for everything currently, and I highly recommend it. They will encrypt all your files with your password, and supposedly they don't even have access to them. I've been using them for 5 years and never had any issues at all. Not to mention they've saved me from hard drive failures many times. I've literally uploaded (and downloaded) over 25 TB to their servers.
  19. Hi master, this is because when you downgraded it went back to using your old LaunchBox.xml file. Just delete your LaunchBox\Data folder and restart LaunchBox and you should be good.
  20. Thanks monkus. This is always helpful.
  21. Hi @andyco47, the Rocket Launcher stuff should continue to work so long as you leave the old LaunchBox.xml in your LaunchBox folder. However, with the new release, any changes you make won't be reflected in the old XML file so they also won't be reflected in Rocket Launcher.
  22. Hi @wize, go to Tools > Manage Platforms in LaunchBox. Then manage the platform and add the image as a clear logo. Then you may have to go into the Big Box options to refresh the platform logos under Image Cache.
  23. Awesome, no problem @Thordelan. LaunchBox Big Box Custom Themes Documentation.docx
  24. Hi @ZedSpot, there's a separate CustomField section that contains this data. Search for <CustomField> and you should find it I think.
