Hi @Zombeaver, I wasn't aware you could download the 240p videos using a free account. Where are they available? My talks with Circo have suggested that the videos are only available for paid accounts.

New beta is out that resolves some of the performance issues with the EmuMovies batch downloading. It's still slow, but a whole lot faster than it was.

As it turns out, the EmuMovies API was down today (and maybe yesterday or even earlier). It is back up now. :)

Unfortunately right now there's no way to launch an app on starting LaunchBox. Also, additional apps require separate configuration for each game, so that's probably not a good solution either. You might be able to use the platform-specific AutoHotkey scripts as a better solution if you want to figure out the scripting, but from what it sounds like, it still won't be perfect.

Okay, sure, I will add this to my list. :)

Hi @bikeking8, from your email it sounds like you used Excel. Unfortunately Excel is going to be way to destructive to use with LaunchBox.xml. I think the only safe thing you'll be able to use is just a standard text editor, unfortunately.

Ha, very cool. Emulation Station is really great for low powered environments. I also have to give huge props to Emulation Station because I literally stole the Big Box interface concepts from it. Without Emulation Station's interface I wouldn't have had any idea where to start.

Hi @chadmoe1, depending on exactly what it needs, it might work. LaunchBox can automatically run "additional applications" before or after games are run. Command line parameters are customizable.

@Dweller, it is possible that something isn't working right for free accounts. I'll give that a test, thanks for letting me know. :)

@DOS76, it should work as-is to auto-mount a disc with Daemon Tools as an additional app before running the emulator, assuming you check the box to automatically run the daemon tools command before launching the game. Or I could be misunderstanding something... ;)

Very cool, @mathflair; sounds like a great idea. RocketLauncher is an awesome concept, that's for sure; my issue with it has just been the complicated/confusing interface.

Hi @TONBOX777, did you use the default MAME settings? To be honest I'm not sure I've ever run SNES through MAME/MESS before, so it could be that we're breaking new ground.

I will do my best to get that option in before the 5.6 official. Right now I'm still focusing on wrapping up the EmuMovies integration. After that, I have some live syncing work to do. Hopefully I can sneak this in.
