  1. Hi @sansa, I do have that feature planned, but it isn't there yet, and it might be a while, unfortunately. As Brad mentioned, I'm sure it could be done with additional apps, but doesn't seem like it'd be easy. So, hmm. I'll see if I can't bump it up on my list a little, at least.
  2. Thanks @shock66, though unfortunately the issues are still bigger than just the window size. Let me know if this latest beta I just put out tonight helps any; I did tweak some things. Good to know about the compatibility settings. :)
  3. Alright, I've been killing myself trying to resolve this bug, so big win tonight. I was getting nasty crashes occasionally when starting and exiting games; turns out it was related to the new AutoHotkey implementation. No one had reported it, so not sure if anyone else was seeing the crashes, but it sure was driving me nuts. Let me know if anyone sees any crashes in Big Box or LaunchBox with this latest beta. Now I think I can *finally* get back to this list view... ;)
  4. Yup, you get newer features faster in exchange for being a guinea pig. Sometimes things are broken in the betas. You can turn on beta updates in Options.
  5. New beta is out, but it still doesn't address the background bug above. This beta mainly just addresses the multiple selection bugs from previous betas.
  6. Hey guys, the Big Box screen corruption (window sizing and painting issues) still shows up from time to time with certain emulators. I do really want to get that fixed. It really is Windows fault, but their ought to be something I can do. I'm gonna be putting out a new beta tonight that I hope at least improves that issue; please let me know if you guys keep seeing it anywhere with beta 10, should be out late tonight.
  7. Hi @sylandro, I accidentally butchered the multiple selections with the latest betas, whoops. I'll have a new beta out tonight to fix. I'll add the Notes filter to my list too. :)
  8. Hey guys, doesn't look like we ever updated this thread. However, the download has been updated with a new version that should fix the problem. Let us (me and @Syriacn) know if you have any other issues. :)
  9. Hehehehe, yup. Never before has Mario made you want to cry. ;)
  10. Probably not as I'm currently working to squash bugs. A number of more difficult bugs have shown up in these later betas, and I need to address them before getting back to the list view. The list view will probably be the last thing I finish up before the 5.3 official.
  11. Thanks, Martin. There are a number of glitches due to my attempted performance improvements for selections in LaunchBox; I'm working on them. That one I didn't specifically notice, though, so thanks.
  12. Hi @Talantyyr, welcome. We actually do have a solution to close out of emulators via a combined button press like that (using AutoHotkey), but we haven't added save/load states. The good news though is you *can* add that functionality yourself with the latest betas using a custom AutoHotkey script, if you're decent with scripting. Every emulator has a custom script that is run.
  13. Once again, big thanks to @mathflair here. I've pinned this thread, so hopefully it should already get some decent traffic. @mathflair, once you're ready and confident with everything, I would like to feature the tool on the home page. :)
  14. Thank you @sselph! Really great to have you here. Great to hear about the C++ versions as well. @mathflair has already built an external tool that I believe uses the scraper, and just hooks into LaunchBox via XML. Here's that thread: https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/features/launchboxannotator-tool#p6576 I believe there have been other related threads as well, but that's the new official one. I do eventually plan on building scraper hashing functionality directly into LaunchBox, so I really appreciate you chiming in. :)
  15. Hi @shock66, yeah, I do have those items on my list. They can't really be automatic, because the user needs to know what's going on, but I'm planning to add prompts when deleting platforms, or changing default emulators to ask what to do with the games. :)

    Greetings!

Welcome, @bjwest. :) Feel free to post in Features or Troubleshooting, depending on where it seems like it best fits. We're not picky, though; we don't get our kicks from power tripping new users into following stupid rules. ;)
  17. Yeah, so this is just downright amazing. Do yourself a favor and watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySPsmFcz_AE I'm really enjoying Triforcefilms lately. :)
  18. Thank you @mathflair! :)
  19. Hehehehehe.
  20. FYI guys, not that it's really related to this thread, but I just created the official Unbroken Software, LLC company recently, so I'm trying to make everything official, mostly to keep on good terms with the gub'ment. It's a lot of work, but it's pretty unavoidable at this point.
  21. Sure, for the record Derek I really appreciate being made aware of that kind of stuff. It's not something that's gonna keep me up at night, but it's good to know about it so I can be proactive if and when I ever need to. :)
  22. Yeah, it's a fine line. We do get lots of traffic, which is absolutely amazing. I just prefer that people use the latest version, get it from the real source, and have as positive of an experience as possible. I also require people's emails for downloads on this site which really helps to boost sales, to be completely honest. It's helped me turn it into a legitimate project instead of just a hobby thing. That said, I'm not about to go and play download police and raise a stink; I do recognize the value of additional exposure. However, if an external download link ever got more popular (higher up in search results) than the official LaunchBox download page, we'd have a problem because I'd lose a lot of my current marketing opportunities. I really hate mass email and spam, so I was very hesitant to ever send any mass email, but honestly I've gotten very positive responses from it. Most people seem happy to receive legitimate valuable content related to LaunchBox via email, so that's been extremely valuable and I'd hate to lose that opportunity.
  23. How'd you stumble on that, by the way?
  24. Ah, thanks Derek. I'd very much rather they didn't, but probably best not to go make enemies and demand that they take it down. Somebody obviously put some serious effort into that lol.
  25. Hi @shock66, I've updated the zip file download at the bottom of the Download page (see the header menu on the site).
