  1. Thanks @Guynamedbilly, new beta is out with custom keyboard mapping. Keep in mind that the default controls no longer support TankSticks out of the box, so they will need to be mapped. However, the mapping process should be straightforward. Let me know if anyone runs into any issues.
  2. Hmm, maybe I messed this up recently (I was in there removing the "v"). I'll take a look. :)
  3. Hi @Sat32, welcome. Currently, LaunchBox does not have an option to always name files by the ROM file name instead of the game's title. However, LaunchBox *will* recognize images that are named with the ROM file name (it just doesn't save them that way when scraping new images). So you should be able to drop the EmuMovies images into the correct LaunchBox folders and LaunchBox should find them.
  4. Hi @KMKeele, I use GZDOOM as well, but I set all my DOOM-based games up with their own copy of GZDOOM. Haven't tried using it like an emulator, but that does make sense. But since GZDOOM is fairly small, I guess you might as well just make it easy and give each different game its own copy.
  5. Ah, good find, Bil. Hopefully I can get this fixed for the 4.3 release.
  6. Hehehehe. New beta is out. I built my shiny new game cabinet over the weekend, so the focus for the last couple days has been on perfecting the game cabinet experience (in between games, of course). Added keyboard mapping options, volume adjustments with keyboard and controller mapping, an option to sort and star favorite games at the top of the games lists, fixed the sounds to only play if something actually happens (as opposed to as long as the key or button is held down), fixed audio stability issues, and fixed more remaining issues returning to Big Box after exiting out of games. Good find @scree on that mouse issue; I'll investigate. :)
  7. Hehehehehe. Maybe I should add little educational widgets to LaunchBox?
  8. Thanks, Nathan, agreed. :)
  9. Nope, no ads! LaunchBox gets a lot of traffic, but not really enough traffic to make any kind of significant money off of ads. At least not near enough to make it worth annoying everyone. Plus, I hate ads, so... And yup, it's awesome. The community is constantly growing. We get between 50 and 100 new LaunchBox users every day. :)
  10. DPI scaling is used to increase or decrease the size of all of the items on your screen, as compared to their standard pixel size. This is typically used both for retina screens (because there's twice the pixels or more) and TVs (where everything needs to be bigger to see it from afar). Fun fact, before every major release I test everything with 4 different DPI settings.
  11. No @DOS76, don't lose your faith in the scientific method! It must have just been an unidentified variable! ;)
  12. You're getting confused with me now, @DOS76. ;) Glad you're all set @eric.
  13. @DOS76, that blasted LaunchBox freeze was actually an issue with the AutoHotkey implementation (had nothing to do with Demul). I struggled with that bug for days, but I just finally got it fixed and put out a new beta. Let me know if that fixes the issue for you. :)
  14. Hi @sansa, I do have that feature planned, but it isn't there yet, and it might be a while, unfortunately. As Brad mentioned, I'm sure it could be done with additional apps, but doesn't seem like it'd be easy. So, hmm. I'll see if I can't bump it up on my list a little, at least.
  15. Thanks @shock66, though unfortunately the issues are still bigger than just the window size. Let me know if this latest beta I just put out tonight helps any; I did tweak some things. Good to know about the compatibility settings. :)
  16. Alright, I've been killing myself trying to resolve this bug, so big win tonight. I was getting nasty crashes occasionally when starting and exiting games; turns out it was related to the new AutoHotkey implementation. No one had reported it, so not sure if anyone else was seeing the crashes, but it sure was driving me nuts. Let me know if anyone sees any crashes in Big Box or LaunchBox with this latest beta. Now I think I can *finally* get back to this list view... ;)
  17. Yup, you get newer features faster in exchange for being a guinea pig. Sometimes things are broken in the betas. You can turn on beta updates in Options.
  18. New beta is out, but it still doesn't address the background bug above. This beta mainly just addresses the multiple selection bugs from previous betas.
  19. Hey guys, the Big Box screen corruption (window sizing and painting issues) still shows up from time to time with certain emulators. I do really want to get that fixed. It really is Windows fault, but their ought to be something I can do. I'm gonna be putting out a new beta tonight that I hope at least improves that issue; please let me know if you guys keep seeing it anywhere with beta 10, should be out late tonight.
  20. Hi @sylandro, I accidentally butchered the multiple selections with the latest betas, whoops. I'll have a new beta out tonight to fix. I'll add the Notes filter to my list too. :)
  21. Hey guys, doesn't look like we ever updated this thread. However, the download has been updated with a new version that should fix the problem. Let us (me and @Syriacn) know if you have any other issues. :)
  22. Hehehehe, yup. Never before has Mario made you want to cry. ;)
  23. Probably not as I'm currently working to squash bugs. A number of more difficult bugs have shown up in these later betas, and I need to address them before getting back to the list view. The list view will probably be the last thing I finish up before the 5.3 official.
  24. Thanks, Martin. There are a number of glitches due to my attempted performance improvements for selections in LaunchBox; I'm working on them. That one I didn't specifically notice, though, so thanks.
