  1. Hi @mathflair, EmuMovies requires you to pay for a subscription for the movies themselves. However, my understanding is that the artwork, at least, is free. I do believe you have to go register on the site though before you'll be able to download anything, even with the API; you'll have to enter your login credentials into LaunchBox in order to use it.
  2. Hi @Bil, currently LaunchBox will only read one Front box art image per game (it doesn't allow multiple images like it does for fanart). I do have this buried somewhere on my list to change, but it might be a while, unfortunately. I like the 3D box art idea, for sure; I'll add that to my list. Again, though, it will likely take a while as there are more pressing things to tackle first. :)
  3. Hi @mathflair, sounds good. You should now have permissions to edit your original post. I'll look to get a post up on the home page soon. :)
  4. Hi @pietje76, this is on my list for Big Box. Were you referring to LaunchBox or Big Box?
  5. Hi @Talantyyr, I'm in the process of integrating with EmuMovies which does have a good manuals library. I have their API now so I'm hoping I can make that happen soon.
  6. Hmm, guess I should add the ability to drag shortcuts into LaunchBox. :)
  7. Hehehehehe, I hear you there. That's the same reason I spend more time developing LaunchBox than playing the games, myself. ;)
  8. Very cool. Your English is perfectly fine, btw. :)
  9. No worries, @romefitforbattle, welcome! I haven't done much with it myself, but I know there are at least a couple people here on the forums that use RocketLauncher with LaunchBox, so it is certainly possible. I believe you can just set RocketLauncher up as an emulator. Hopefully someone else can chime in with the setup process though. It might be worth searching the forums for RocketLauncher as well.
  10. Very nice @diegogskt. Love the images. :)
  11. I see, sure. So the issue is not being able to add additional apps to additional apps, basically, from what I'm understanding. Doesn't sound like there's going to be an easy solution.
  12. Bah, just search for ImagesReorganizedFor5. ;)
  13. Whoops, the forums screwed up my text, sorry. <ImagesReorganizedFor5>true</ImagesReorganizedFor5>
  14. :) I've been meaning to add parental controls for ages now. Just keeps getting pushed aside for more interesting things.
  15. Nope, I don't believe that was ever added or requested. I will add that to my list though, of course. :)
  16. Oh, hmm. That's a scenario I hadn't thought about. You might want to back up your LaunchBox folder, first, but I believe it should move all the images on startup if you change this line in the LaunchBox.xml file: <ImagesReorganizedFor5>true</ImagesReorganizedFor5> Change that line to false instead of true and it should move the images. Let me know how that works. I should probably create a menu item to trigger that; I'll add that to my list.
  17. Not fully following, Derek. Can you explain?
  18. I think it's because of the í character in the file name, can you change that character and upload them again? Sorry for that.
  19. Hi @diegogskt, welcome. :) For some reason the images aren't working though.
  20. Hi @CADScott, I believe I've removed MESS from the list of default platforms. Haven't reviewed it recently but pretty sure it's gone.
  21. There are 4 common Windows DPI settings: 100%, 125%, 150%, and 200%. Other DPIs are used, but less commonly, and that tends to cover the vast majority of situations.
  22. Hi @shock66, it is generally a good idea to use a separate install, but I get the impression that most people don't bother, which isn't usually a problem. It's just a good idea to have a backup of your LaunchBox folder available, just in case, at all times. In my case, I use Dropbox which pretty much solves any potential risks. For what it's worth, I use all the betas for my own personal collection, and I've yet to have to restore anything, but I also have a backup ready at all times.
  23. Hey guys, this is still on my list. When we do implement it, though, we'll probably just come up with a simple look-up list to parse the proper game titles from the file names, and maybe a list of BIOS files to ignore. Not sure if that will help with weeding out the crap or not.
