  1. Hi @Cabirus, iirc I did reach out to him but didn't hear back. I'll have to reach out again soon.
  2. Okay, hopefully I can take a look at that stuff soon. I do have the tray option on my list.
  3. Awesome, thanks Brad. Whatever you can do to beat it up with testing would be appreciated; I'd like to put out the final release either tonight or tomorrow.
  4. I see, sure. I'm not sure if performance would be quick enough for even just the image to instantly update; I'll have to give it a try.
  5. Thanks @scree, I believe I finally have that bug figured out and fixed. New beta is out; it fixes some bugs, but also *significantly* improves editing performance for people with humongous libraries. I used a combination of multi-threading and file system watching to speed it up. I am a bit nervous about the stability of all those changes, so I might have to delay the official a few days so we can confirm that everything is working well, but it's a crucial improvement so I'm glad I got it in there. As always, testing is appreciated; let me know if you hit any bugs.
  6. Thanks @dieandromeda, welcome. You're right, I really need to get back to those spacing customization options. I remember that they're a bit flaky as-is. Keep in mind that in most cases you can get what you need by using negative padding values, but obviously that's an improper way to do it. Still, that might help out in the mean time. I do have an item on my list to customize the selection/hover backgrounds as well. Thanks, Jason
  7. That sounds pretty cool but of course we're a ways off from stuff like that. We'd need an extensive theming and plugin engine, which is feasible, but is a serious undertaking. We'll get there but lots to tackle before then unfortunately.
  8. Hi @tjwoosta, thanks for that feedback. I plan to add a box art view to Big Box, hopefully soon (much like LaunchBox). That's more feasible than having the images instantly update, as typically the machine just can't keep up. How's that sound?
  9. The custom filter window is due for a revamp, indeed. I'm guessing the issues with the "crashes" you're seeing are just due to the time it takes to populate the drop downs. For very large collections, this can be an unfortunately long time, and LaunchBox appears to crash while it's working. This is more of an issue with Windows combo box controls, but of course I need to come up with a solution. I've noted all the other requests. :)
  10. I'm sorry guys, but I don't really know enough about this stuff to suggest a solution. @Syriacn, any ideas?
  11. Hehehehe, wow. Not really my preference, but neat nonetheless. @CADScott, that looks really neat. Let's see the final build! :)
  12. Wow, holy crap the top one is beautiful. Now *that* is a perfectionist. What a beautiful build.

    RetroArch

Hi @fishman, are you selecting the Retroarch that's already in the list of emulators the second time around? Or are you trying to add Retroarch a second time?
  14. Yup, agreed. I need to do some research with how the other guys do it, and see if we can come up with the best possible solution. Unfortunately it's not on the top of the to-do list though.
  15. Thanks @scree. Yes, I still have Big Box versions on my list. Unfortunately it might not make it into 5.3, but hopefully soon.
  16. By the way, I did get this fixed last night in the latest beta. :) I had no idea about that bug, but it was a serious bug, so thanks much for finding and reporting it.
  17. Thanks @acombs1793. If you're looking to start over completely, then no harm in deleting everything. But the LaunchBox.xml file is located in the LaunchBox folder (the folder you installed it to). Glad it's a good solution for you. :)
  18. Per the list view, both of those features are planned but will not make it into the 5.3 release. Sorting favorite games at the top is only for Big Box, and it's in the Big Box Games List options. Have you been getting error messages for those crashes? It's always very helpful if you can report them. I did get one report yesterday that I'm looking into. I believe I do have half-star ratings and multiple tag selections on my list. I'll add arrow buttons to the list. :)
  19. Hi @Stal8080, I think I answered you these via email already but I'll answer them here too just in case anyone happens to land on this page. Big Box currently does not automatically download videos, but this functionality is coming, through EmuMovies. Still, if you have an EmuMovies subscription it's really easy to download them with their download tool and then just drop the videos in the right folders. All of Big Box can be controlled just fine with a joystick, yes. *Most* emulators can be exited just fine with the controller using the AutoHotkey features. Some of them are still being perfected, however.
  20. Hehehehe, that'd be quite a throwback, wouldn't it? It'd be fun too, but unfortunately I don't think it really fits with the rest of LaunchBox. Might be a fun side project though at some point.
  21. FYI everyone, I plan to release the official this coming Thursday. @AFaustini, new beta is out. :) If you can, here are the release notes that would be great to translate: New list view is available for premium users Custom AutoHotkey scripts for all emulators, MS-DOS, or Windows games Proper support for MAME game imports Thanks!
  22. Alright, new beta is out that fixes all the reported bugs with the last beta, sans for @scree's reported icons bug. Hoping to release the official version on Thursday night.
  23. @scree, I have the first issue fixed, but I can't seem to replicate the second issue (the favorite/edit/close icons not showing). You're talking about the game details hover popup, correct? Is anyone else able to replicate this?
  24. Wow, thanks @SqHd, I see it now, good find. I wonder if I introduced that issue recently. Hopefully I can get it fixed before the official release.
