  1. Hi @MuffinXXL, thanks for stepping up. Do you mean traditional or simplified Chinese? Are you a fluent speaker of Chinese?
  2. Unfortunately we have not prioritized adding more than 16 buttons. I do have it on the list for the next community poll though.
  3. MAME is a tricky beast, and it becomes way more tricky when you try to import only a subset of ROMs. That's generally not a good idea. The only proper way to import MAME ROMs is to use the MAME full-set importer.
  4. @tomdrake Sounds awesome. The logos are cached at smaller sizes if necessary, so with 4K resolutions these days, bigger is probably better (within reason). Maybe 1000 pixels wide depending on the media source?
  5. Thanks @C-Beats. For everyone here who needs to create a new thread for an issue, remember that you can always call out @Jason Carr and @C-Beats. That will ensure that we see any new thread that you create.
  6. Btw, thanks for all the reports guys. We are still going through some of them yet, and we'll follow up shortly. There are a few things in this thread though that are almost certainly not related to the beta release. We'll note those soon.
  7. Beta 2 is out now with the following: Views using the BoxArtCoverFactory now respect the GameImage setting instead of forcing Boxes Wall view was attempting to draw items several times if you had less items than Columns x Rows causing index errors Horizontal Platform Wheel wasn't respecting RotationAmount Images in the new WallView were getting cut off because of a UV Coordinate issue and should now show correctly Corrected an issue importing MS-DOS games via a drag and drop that would incorrectly set the application path of the game (introduced in 11.9)
  8. Unfortunately not @CtinD. To be honest, it's not really much of a priority. Though I'll note the interest.
  9. Hey all, the first 11.10 beta is out now with the following: New Premium Feature: The Big Box default wall view has been overhauled and is now much more flexible (with features such as item selections, row fading, and more) New Premium Feature: There are now 4 different Big Box wall views that are available for theme developers New Premium Feature: All Big Box wheel and CoverFlow views have been overhauled to allow for custom theme templates inside of each element in the wheel/CoverFlow. This means that theme developers can now use multiple images and other elements inside of wheel/CoverFlow items. Fixed: Corrected an issue that sometimes caused the same game to be found for several platforms when scanning for added games (introduced in 11.9) Major changes went into this release with the wheels, wall views, and CoverFlow in Big Box to support the custom theme templates for individual items. This will be a big win for theme developers, as it provides for much greater flexibility. That said, a large portion of the Big Box code was updated, so we'll need some heavy testing this go-around.
  10. Sorry for the delayed reply here. That folder should show up after a reinstall of LaunchBox. You can install over top of the same folder without losing your settings or games.
  11. Hi @GreatStone, do you have an updated version of hi2txt? Just checking to see if I need to update the version included with LaunchBox.
  12. @ultrez Noted. I'm hoping to get back to games database development at some point later this year. Some of these items are already on the to-do list.
  13. I have added it to my list of items for the next poll.
  14. @KKND Please let us know if your issue is resolved or not.
  15. @Kazan22 Are you using a custom theme for LaunchBox? Where is LaunchBox installed on your system? What version of Windows are you running?
  16. Thanks for the report. I will look into it. We updated the forums late last week, so I suspect that somehow that got messed up in the process.
  17. Hi @Njsmooth, thanks for the request. This is on our wishlist for the DB as well.
  18. I reduced the required width to 1200, so hopefully that fixes the background image issue for you guys. It doesn't appear to affect mobile, so hopefully this will be a good compromise.
  19. I've specifically hidden the background images when the perceived screen resolution is too small. When you calculate the zoom level and the screen DPI settings (from Windows), if the resolution turns out to be less than 1640, it won't show up. This is because there were some significant readability issues on mobile devices caused by the background images. I might reduce that number though.
  20. The only other thing I can suggest is to clear your cookies for the site (which will make you have to log back in). Other than that, I'm out of ideas. I've tested that in Chrome without issues, so it seems like it must somehow be a system-specific issue. On second thought, I might know what's going on. Just had a thought. What is your resolution? If it's too low (lower than 1600 pixels across), then it won't show the background for readability reasons.
  21. Just fixed the code issue. When on smaller screens, the Mark All as Read feature is moved to the hamburger menu (just how they build the new version of the forums). Yeah, I haven't seen any issues with this. Maybe try pressing Ctrl+F5 to force a refresh of everything?
  22. Gotcha, thanks guys. I'll get it fixed up.
