  1. I need to know the same answers. Videos play fine but images just don't show up as backgrounds for the platforms. To work around, I have to put images in the device folder...
  2. Prioritize Sountrack over video audio doesn't work. It randomly shuffles between the 2 instead. Also, I've been away for a while. I see videos can be played from the theme folder now. Can the music be played from that location now as well? And does the theme game fanart location not work; is that just for platforms, because nothing happens when making a spot for the game backgrounds in my theme folder.
  3. Can we have different pdf styles or will it just be the page flipping one? I'd like to have a pdf style like Rocketlauncher's for bigbox.

  6. As in the vid, you'll see my drawing table that I use for a 2nd monitor for gaming for ds emulation sometimes. I won't have it on all the time so I wont be using it all the time. Same with anyone else who just has an external monitor. " You got it in the 2nd post response to me that you made It's the same thing. " You should already be able to enable the marquee screen and have it only show up if the second screen is attached. " Yes but it wouldn't be automatic. Currently, we have to change 2 options. What I've proposed only requires changing 1 option. If I want bigbox on the 2nd screen, I'd have to go change the marque screen manually so it can show on the first. With my idea, You would only have to change the bigbox default screen option and the marque screen would auto go to the next available screen hence the word 'auto' that would be in the marquee screen selection. Because what would happen if you have the bigbox screen AND marquee screen both set to 'insert number here'? Edit: Oh, and the vid is showing that if you have primary screen set to 2 and marquee screen set to 1 and you launch bigbox from the 1st monitor, that flicker happens and big box will remain on monitor 1 and both will fight for monitor 1 instead of bigbox going to monitor 2 like it's supposed to. Speaking of this, you may not have to detect if monitor is off because it may just be this bug. We'll see when you fix this one whether or not the screen detection method is also needed. but screen on/off detection would still be needed in order for bigbox to remove the marquee screen if 2nd monitor is off. So when the details screen for the 2nd monitor comes into fruition, there wouldn't be a conflict involving 2 details screens running.
  7. To add to my other comment above, here is a lil flicker that happens to bigbox if you have a dual monitor setup and the 2nd monitor is off but still plugged in:
  8. when I turn the 2nd monitor on, it stays on either one screen or the other. But unsure if I would want the 2nd monitor to be customizable or if it'll be good if just the details screen is shown on 2nd monitor. hmmm. I do know that if I put bigbox on the 2nd screen and start a game, the game starts on the default screen of course which is cool and bigbox stays open on the 2nd screen. there's no prob with it, but if it can auto turn into the details screen (in place of the marquee screen and togglable from marquee to details via a customizable button from the gamepad) during the game when on wheel mode, that would be very cool. And when the game shuts down, it'll go back to wheel view. Would be cool if this could also happen vice versa. And if no game is playing and you are on 2 monitors, the details screen would auto appear on the screen that bigbox isn't on and during this, the button to show the details screen would be disabled. Kinda like a 3DS. And if no 2nd monitor is detected, it goes as normal. Also, an automatic option for the marquee screen I would like to request. the specific screens for this option is only useful for more than 2 screen. But if one just has 2 screens, the auto option would automatically place the marquee screen on the screen that bigbox is not on. And if the 2nd monitor is not connected or not on, no marquee screen will be drawn. That is my idea about it. Bugwise: - right click and closing bb when it is on the 2nd monitor from the taskbar, the process stays in process list as the window is closed -if the 2nd monitor is disconnected and bb is turned off, it defaults back to default screen which is great. BUT if the 2nd monitor is just turned off but still connected, it stays on the 2nd monitor. So a check should be included as to whether or not the 2nd monitor is on so that it would default back to the default screen as well when the monitor is just off. EDITED: Read again just in case changes werent seen on first read during the editing.
  9. As in it stretching across 2 screens yes. But not 2 of the same thing in both monitors.
  10. Update is not popping up when I turn launchbox or bigbox on. Edit: nevermind. had to turn off updates and turn it back on for some reason. To be honest, I thought the multi monitor support would mean that you also would be able to display bigbox across 2 screen as well instead of just one or the other. Will that be done?
  11. Just got a complete freeze when scrolling the wheel. There's still a problem with moving away from a game while its assets are about to load. Platform wheel is very smooth now
  12. Wheel skipping (falling out of place) seems seems completely fixed now Background images, music, etc. can still lag a bit though. I would like to suggest a caching option for the background images and gifs as well. As well as a caching completely off option. This could fix the remaining lag. However, it will have a downside. No randomization in the objects. So if one doesn't care about randomization, they could turn caching on. But if they do care about it, they can turn caching off.
  13. Clicking a game with the mouse in bigbox no longer starts a game, but it does restart the game's image and background music in the frontend.

" I only remember when pressing left or right, it goes back to the original menu instead of staying where it was. I thought that was fixed by having to press confirm to go over to the other section. How can one accidentally press left or right by pressing down or up? Sounds to me that a sleep timer between presses would have been a solution to prevent that. What if an option ends up with 10 items that you can get into? Do we really need to scroll through all 10 items just to get back to the item we want? And that's not mentioning accidental overpresses and then you would have to loop around again
  15. Hey, I didn't create it xD. 2 other ppl also reported this a while back. It is improved. It only skips around a little bit now and is very quick and doesn't slowly fall out of place like before. However, I tried it on the games and bigbox froze: Also seems that at the point of the assets loading, if you turn away from the game exactly as the assets try to load, it either lags or freezes. Still with the values of the curve or the view and page counts altered. But again, the out of place thing has improved. It doesn't skip around drastically but I can get it to instantly switch to the very new item without the wheel turning animation happening (like a teleport as if it was a lag spike). As you can see on the pic, the background is DK but the current highlighted game is Double dragon. So Im sure is a combo of the wheels settings mixed with the assets from the previous game still loaded when on another game before the change happens (this is one reason I requested an option for all the assets to change instantly instead of wait until it sits on another game for them to change). This has been happening ever since the curvature option was introduced. I thought it was a downclocking performance issue at first until I saw that it still happened even on an overclock. On another note, the sound themes should be read from the custom themes area as well so that when ppl share themes, it'll all be in one place for easy install. (don't know if that was implemented already or not). Lastly, you cannot switch options with left/right on the dpad. Only by pressing the confirm button. Hopefully it would be changed so we can be able to go back instead of having to do a complete loop to our desired setting. Thank you for having a gander professor.

  17. Making an error in xaml file no longer resets the program to the default theme. Screen stays black and you have to process close or right click and close on the task bar.

  21. okay, that worked! but why if I put my custom logo in the area of the default logos as Windows.png, it shows? And why does the default logo even show at all if it is named Windows.jpg since my platform is named Windows PC?
  22. Sorry for the double post. Editing doesn't seem to work correctly in my firefox right now. Maybe adblock is interfering. But I just downloaded the update, and custom theme logos aren't working at all in the default theme but is working in my custom theme BUT my custom Windows.png still isn't showing.
  23. The name of it there is Windows PC. The name of the default png is Windows.jpg and the name of my custom image is Windows.png

  25. I gave it another shot as soon as I downloaded the update. And that is the default theme just in case of suspicion of a xaml error on my part. Already tried refreshing wheel images and every image. Windows folder for my default game images is called Windows PC. Are you sure that you named the variable for the windows folder properly so that itll be able to connect correctly regardless of folder name? Because that seems to be the only one having the problem. A few other folders are named differently than the default though and they still work.
