  1. Wow, that was quick. I have to go pick the boy up from school right now, but I will have a closer look tonight.
  2. The later sounds better, but you could always start with that. It will allow us to collect a chunk of the content now ready to copy/paste or whatever at a later date. EDIT: Also, your videos are great and I don't see why they can't be part of a Wiki too. He just prefers to speed read, different strokes for different folks. If they were videos and text, that would be more comprehensive and cater to more users.
  3. Yeah that's what I meant, no hdd activity, but cpu activity. It's OK now, it miraculously started working again and completed the last bit in no time. It definitely stopped for a while though. Cheers
  4. I haven't updated in a month or so and I am trying to do it now, however it appears LB has frozen. It has been stuck like that for over 2 hours. I have a large collection, but the bar has not moved at all. LB is still using the CPU Ooohh, what to do...
  5. Bil said Do you have any plans to split the LaunchBox.xml to help with performance, for the upcoming version 5 of LB? I just wanted to ask and hope This was brought up a long time ago and was dismissed. If I remember correctly, it would not make any difference to performance and just make things more difficult for Jason. I may be wrong, but don't hold your breath.
  6. marcelo.magri said I tried and it worked like a charm. Next step is to find some way of starting Launchbox w/ the guide button. If anyone has a AHK script (or any other way of doing that), please let me know That would be awesome, currently it opens Steam for me. Will look into this and get back.
  7. Cadet Stimpy said bd000 said LOL He has one more leg than me! LOL! Lemme guess... In High School they called you "Tripod". Oh no, I was never called anything as flattering. It was more along the lines of geek and nerd. I was too early for the whole geek-a-sheek thing unfortunately. Youth would have been so much easier... but I shouldn't complain, I am who I am now because of who I was then and I am where I am because of where I was then. Try say it 10 times really fast.
  8. I did these for you @Maddoc1007 on the 2nd, while I didn't post the update here, they were in the repository. Sorry about that. Thanks @scree (correct thread this time)
  9. Maddoc1007 said Watched video looks cool but says something for amd processors when they use an intel core i7 instead of their own latest cpu, tells everyone their chips are below par with intel ones. LOL
  10. How to report malware or false positives to multiple antivirus vendors. http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/how-report-malware-or-false-positives-multiple-antivirus-vendors.htm When tested, if they feel it is safe they should exclude it. If they find it to be suspicious, they will continue to flag it. Some will email you if they find anything suspicious, to let you know. Send over the LB exe. This should help to put peoples minds at ease... or uncover @jason's true intentions Either way, win-win.
  11. Jason Carr said Controllers should definitely work. I use my 360 controller for pretty much all testing, so that's pretty close to a given. Let me know if you have any trouble with it. X360 controllers work fine for me.
  12. Wow, I must of looked really strange while doing that.
  13. Man, those guys must have a great life ... possibly very short, but great! Also, the soundtrack is awesome.
  14. ... just ... Also, I think you should stop distracting @jason with your videos. You are hindering LB development mate j/k
  15. Jason Carr said Hi @Sigord, I'll consider that in the future. Unfortunately, development keeps me extremely busy for the moment, so focusing on documentation would be hard to do. Though I understand where you're coming from. Community managed Wiki? I thought this was on the cards many, many moons ago? If memory serves, Brad started a wiki at some site, was it ever used? Could you not revive that? It is quite active here at the moment.
  16. ps4isthefuture said Jason, Is there any plan to add the Additional Application setup to the Bulk Editing Wizard? Or possibly I missed it. Otherwise if someone has a large collection they will have to add each Additional App to each game individually. Thanks. +1
  17. I will try this this week, I have some spare time. Sorry it took so long.
  18. Doesn't this only work with wired controllers?
  19. Yeah, +1 for Xpadder. Using it allows far more control and customisations. It's a shame LB cannot support it.
  20. Thanks @maddoc1007 I did do these images for you, I added them to the repository on the 2nd of this month, but had to rush out and didn't have time to post the update here in the forums. Sorry for recent silence, had a crazy few weeks. Hope your health is good. Thanks @scree
  21. LOL He has one more leg than me! ... C'mon, somebody was going to say it! / | \ OK, kindly remove your mind from the gutter now.
