  1. I think we only have the conversion and metadata resources for JUST MAME. We don't have software lists or anything else, and it's honestly hard to deal with.
  2. Clean Up Images only removes images that are no longer being used so you can free up space. There is a separate option to clear the cache. You also don't need to keep a backup of it. Actually I would advise against that. LaunchBox will automatically re-create it, but because the cache was created and wasn't refreshed when you added the images, LaunchBox doesn't know there are new images to be found. Refreshing the cache makes LaunchBox see there are manually added images, then start to cache them and show them. When you download metadata and media through the import process, or when you scrape afterwards, LaunchBox already automatically refreshes the cache so that the new images show up, but you need to manually refresh it when you manually add in new images.
  3. This sub-forum is ... special. The fact that users can make posts here and we don't have to approve them all is a step up. It's supposed to be so that only one of the team can make threads here, because it's a news / announcements sub forum, but then no one else could make replies unless we approved them... so that's a step up. Also, HEY! Jason is a lot better looking than myself. xD
  4. I personally keep it separate. I have an emulators folder, and in that are folders named after a system or an emulator. In that are game / rom folders, and folders for versions of Emulators / alternates. I have a RetroArch folder in it's own Sub folder, S:\Emulator\RetroArch. Everything else I keep in the LB folder personally.
  5. We do appreciate it. You didn't have to do this at all, so we're extremely thankful. People have asked for ways to openly donate to us, and it's a bit shocking. We know our community is awesome, and they want to support us, but actions say it all and our users are trying to show their love. It's awesome.
  6. Multiple downloads is being worked on, Circo is actually helping us with that too. Per those errors, are you also an EmuMovies Premium user? I assume so if you are using the Sync program, but those errors usually mean a users hit their bandwidth cap for EM or they're down. If the downloads for the videos were being super slow and you were getting a ton of errors, they were more than likely under heavy load. I know they were having issues this past weekend.
  7. You can manually separate it, and even put them under their own specific system and use scrape as, but yea obviously LaunchBox being able to do this for you is a really really smart idea actually (for those that want it).
  8. There's actually a native delay in Windows, but that might be for programs that show up in the start up section of windows and not something you add manually though.
  9. Did you tell RetroArch to handle the saves or to have the core handle the saves?
  10. Don't feel like you need to answer Derek if it's too personal (I understand), but what the fuck do you have in all of that!!! I assume it's a bunch of stuff, then backup's of everything? I don't think I have a backup of anything ... >.>
  11. Ah, ok. Steam collection, I don't know why I read Steam Controller. The I apologize! I totally did misunderstand. You might need to get AHK Standalone for this, and I don't know what script would help you in this case. Jason might be able to shed some more light on this so I'll forward this to him.
  12. Ah, ok! I get what you meant now. Thanks for letting me know.
  13. Ah! It's kind of an exe replacement and meant for the 3D LucasArt's games! I get it now.
  14. Ah, so it's just a fork to handle the differences in newer tech?
  15. I wish I could get some games, but we're already pretty much tapped out. X_X Had to do some no-interest card trickery in order to pull this off, otherwise we couldn't naturally afford it.
  16. ALIE said OK Here we go results for my first major scrape is looking good. results was from search. USA 837. Japan 1656. Europe 585. LB found and placed. USA 842 . Japan 1650. Europe 580. Can you give us a few examples of the full file names for the games it didn't find?
  17. Is Residual then more for Windows 95 era Point and clicks? Because Grim Fandango should run normally on Windows, and has the remastered edition out. Monkey Island is also playable in DOSBox (I also thought in ScummVM too because I've ran it in there before), and has also been released it's self. So maybe I should look up the software, but what does it do that can't already be done?
  18. I thought the Steam Controller is supposed to automatically do this through Big Picture mode or something? Through LaunchBox though, yea I can see how that might be hard. In this case you may need to use a controller that doesn't simulate the keyboard, like a PS4 or Xbox One controller. I am unsure how easy this might be to pull off with the Steam Controller. You should also be able to close the game with the close buttons in the menu, so is the AHK script even required?
  19. martinconroy said Would be great if you could negotiate some cabinet deals with suppliers for registered users (especially in the UK) ;) That's actually a super good idea Martin. I don't know if any of them would want to, but I don't know their margin for profit, so they may be able to. That would require us partnering up with someone though, and I am unsure if any of them would want to. If any Cab makers do want to partner with us, we're not necessarily against it.
  20. ViewSonic is a good brand. That's actually a super good deal. That response time is great. It's not an IPS (which is just the type of screen), but you probably won't honestly notice it. I certainly paid a lot more for my LG than that, and it's the same size. Not much more, but it has built in speakers, 2ms delay, IPS monitor.
  21. I understood you. :P There should be a way to easily do this in Windows 7-10. If you created a start up item in Windows (where you can go to edit the start up programs), there should be an option to delay the start of it. I don't know if it will help you in this case, but I do remember that being there.
  22. Yea, that's actually on my list. The two 4TB externals I have are from when I had my other PC, and it was maxed on HDD's. This computer has two more slots for HDD's, and still some room for M.2's.
