Of course, no problem!

We do appreciate it. You didn't have to do this at all, so we're extremely thankful. People have asked for ways to openly donate to us, and it's a bit shocking. We know our community is awesome, and they want to support us, but actions say it all and our users are trying to show their love. It's awesome.

Multiple downloads is being worked on, Circo is actually helping us with that too. Per those errors, are you also an EmuMovies Premium user? I assume so if you are using the Sync program, but those errors usually mean a users hit their bandwidth cap for EM or they're down. If the downloads for the videos were being super slow and you were getting a ton of errors, they were more than likely under heavy load. I know they were having issues this past weekend.

You can manually separate it, and even put them under their own specific system and use scrape as, but yea obviously LaunchBox being able to do this for you is a really really smart idea actually (for those that want it).

Need to set a delay for BigBox to launch after windows restart
SentaiBrad replied to Supreme's topic in Troubleshooting
There's actually a native delay in Windows, but that might be for programs that show up in the start up section of windows and not something you add manually though. -
Did you tell RetroArch to handle the saves or to have the core handle the saves?

Getting a AHK file to work on a specific steam game
SentaiBrad replied to nutter1980's topic in Troubleshooting
Ah, ok. Steam collection, I don't know why I read Steam Controller. The I apologize! I totally did misunderstand. You might need to get AHK Standalone for this, and I don't know what script would help you in this case. Jason might be able to shed some more light on this so I'll forward this to him. -
Ah, ok! I get what you meant now. Thanks for letting me know.
-
Ah! It's kind of an exe replacement and meant for the 3D LucasArt's games! I get it now.
-
Ah, so it's just a fork to handle the differences in newer tech?

I wish I could get some games, but we're already pretty much tapped out. X_X Had to do some no-interest card trickery in order to pull this off, otherwise we couldn't naturally afford it.

ALIE said OK Here we go results for my first major scrape is looking good. results was from search. USA 837. Japan 1656. Europe 585. LB found and placed. USA 842 . Japan 1650. Europe 580. Can you give us a few examples of the full file names for the games it didn't find?

Is Residual then more for Windows 95 era Point and clicks? Because Grim Fandango should run normally on Windows, and has the remastered edition out. Monkey Island is also playable in DOSBox (I also thought in ScummVM too because I've ran it in there before), and has also been released it's self. So maybe I should look up the software, but what does it do that can't already be done?

Getting a AHK file to work on a specific steam game
SentaiBrad replied to nutter1980's topic in Troubleshooting
I thought the Steam Controller is supposed to automatically do this through Big Picture mode or something? Through LaunchBox though, yea I can see how that might be hard. In this case you may need to use a controller that doesn't simulate the keyboard, like a PS4 or Xbox One controller. I am unsure how easy this might be to pull off with the Steam Controller. You should also be able to close the game with the close buttons in the menu, so is the AHK script even required? -
Who wants to help us design a bartop arcade cabinet? :)
SentaiBrad replied to Jason Carr's topic in News and Updates
martinconroy said Would be great if you could negotiate some cabinet deals with suppliers for registered users (especially in the UK) ;) That's actually a super good idea Martin. I don't know if any of them would want to, but I don't know their margin for profit, so they may be able to. That would require us partnering up with someone though, and I am unsure if any of them would want to. If any Cab makers do want to partner with us, we're not necessarily against it. -
ViewSonic is a good brand. That's actually a super good deal. That response time is great. It's not an IPS (which is just the type of screen), but you probably won't honestly notice it. I certainly paid a lot more for my LG than that, and it's the same size. Not much more, but it has built in speakers, 2ms delay, IPS monitor.

Need to set a delay for BigBox to launch after windows restart
SentaiBrad replied to Supreme's topic in Troubleshooting
I understood you. :P There should be a way to easily do this in Windows 7-10. If you created a start up item in Windows (where you can go to edit the start up programs), there should be an option to delay the start of it. I don't know if it will help you in this case, but I do remember that being there. -
LaunchBox does recognize the default rom names. LaunchBox will use media that is either named after the name of the game in LaunchBox or the rom file. Put all the media you want in the proper folder and then clear your cache in the LaunchBox tools menu.

We spent too much money this morning... but I got her birthday presents, we got our new phone (that we were planning on getting anyways), and I grabbed my new capture card because my old one is giving me driver failure messages during boot, and the only fix is system restoring. The phone we got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015YCRZ1A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 My capture card replacement: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CVOMZDM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I've been wanting to get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01B4CVMQI/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1CY3GOG15DAYY But there are way more powerful (but obviously more expensive) other ones that do something similar, and also have full keyboards out there. I want the Pyra super bad actually, but it's $590 (About 540 Euro cause it comes from Germany). I ended up getting a bracket that will fit my 10" Kindle in hopes that the emulators on here will perform better than my PSP, and the bracket controller holds together well enough. Damn Amazon.

alexis524 said Nice! I need to pick up at least 2 of these for what I have and am planning to do. PSX, PS2, oXbox, and Wii iso's over all regions will take up alot of space I've got Wii and GameCube on a separate external because my Wii (now Wii U) is modded, so I can play directly on the console. PS1, PSP and PS2 games are all compressed with specific formats. PS1 is compressed with PBP's and it combines multiple discs. Mednafen reads these natively. PSP and PS2 games are compressed with CSO's (at least most of them, some don't work in CSO's). PPSSPP and PCSX2 read these natively. In the case of PS2 I saved over 600GB, so the time it took me to do this was worth it. Xbox games I have too, but they're extracted so they can get FTPed in to my Xbox, so they thankfully don't take up all of that space (Xbox emulation pretty much doesn't exist). DS games I also used a trim tool for, so the roms are also a bit smaller as well. Some games also don't work well trimmed, but the overall savings is better. The Wii and GameCube games are also trimmed. My collection, all combined and uncompressed would be 5-6TB easily. DOS76 said I have cannabilized multiple externals I usually throw the enclosures out but I could see keeping one who knows when you may have a need for it. I've also run into issues where when removed from the externals controller card the data on the drive is unrecognizable so this is best performed before you start adding data to the drive. Main reason I haven't gotten one is that I can get 2 5TB externals for a better price usually. The first thing I did was pull it out and put it in my PC (also bought a decent sized SATA Cable), but the drive was automatically readable thankfully. You probably could find better deals, that may save you a bit of money, but I also didn't want to pick up more drives to take up extra space. The benefit of the 8TB is that it's only one drive. I have 2 4TB WD MyBook's (the little brother to my 8TB), and they're champs, but they take up space and 2 AC jacks on my surge protector.

Of course, no problem! If you have more questions feel free to ask them.
