Okay in case anyone wants to know how Demul has to be setup I'm going to add some screen shots here maybe in the future LaunchBox can incorporate Demul as one of the emulators that it auto fills the command line parameters but until then this will have to do. To emulate the arcade portion of the emulator you will want to set up the emulation details like it is in the 1st image and the associated platform like the second image. In case the images are hard to read the CMD line parameters are -run=awave -rom= -run=naomi -rom= -run=hikaru -rom= -run=gaelco -rom= -run=cave3rd -rom= (I've never attempted to get this particular one running but I do have all of the other systems working) In order to get the Dreamcast portion running you will use this command and you will only need to copy the emulation details form -run=DC -image= This is actually pretty easy to setup and in the past myself and others have stated that you needed to have 2 separate versions of Demul to do both but I just figured out that you can actually have only one install of Demul but you will have to set it up twice in LaunchBox I named mine Demul and Demul [Arcade] both point to the same .exe and both are launching games after testing.

I'm not sure I understand what the problem is. I have my platforms setup as NEC PC-Engine and TurboGrafx 16 and I use them in RetroArch I didn't have any issues importing them except that I had to find all of my own metadata. Are you trying to use different cores for PC Engine and TG16 and it won't let you not a great workaround but if so you could always setup a second install of RA to use the specific core and config file you want to use.

Turns out I'm going to have to wait a few days still (I should really watch the whole video before posting) I was going to donate to get early access but didn't care for the recurring donations every month I was willing to help out but I'm not coughing up $60 a year to help out that is a little excessive if you ask me.

Glad to see that the videos in LaunchBox are working properly now with no odd behavior.

If you go into preferences there is a check box to turn it off. Dolphin also has this checkbox in their settings in case you use that also.

Yeah I've heard that it is an issue with KAT5200 also and possibly a few others if i recall correctly. Nestopia has an option though to turn off the confirm

Adding parameters isn't a workaround at all its using command to utilize things the creators of the emulators added. It's a necessary evil of making two separate programs work together.

Love EaseUs Partition Master and their data recovery tool too. Saved my ass many times.

yeah I don't know try changing one game to your original directory and see if that launches if so either use Notepad++ to change the whole directory in the XML or delete all of the games and try again but choose use files in their current location. If it doesn't work I don't know what the issue is. I've never heard of MAMEgui64 (unless you mean UI) but I do know that it should work for MAMEUI64 and MAMEUIFX64 as I've used both of them in LB without any issues in the past.

Actually I just tried it with an arcade game and it worked I think maybe for DC they want you to use the VMU and not the save states.

You set them yourself under the controller settings.

i started playing Blue Stinger today and I've been creating in game saves but also when I wanted to stop playing I tried to create a save state if I create the save state and then walk around and then load the save state then everything is fine but if I close Demul and then try to load the save Demul crashes. i know that this is an alpha build so are save states just not working properly or am I the only one having this issue.

Mine takes even longer than that but once it starts its quick and responsive so I don't have any issues with it. Some programs take a little time to start. At 300 games i doubt very much that the size of your XML has anything to do with the slow down.

No need I could build my own kick ass PC with RAM and storage for less than that or if I spent that imagine what I could build. As long as the fan isn't too loud then it doesn't really bother me.

If you had VLC already installed would changing it to display stretched change how it would display in LaunchBox? I always play my 4:3 videos in 16:9 VLC it is one of the main reasons I stopped using WMP because of no Aspect Ratio settings. I don't mind the new Windows 10 TV and Movies app either because it has aspect controls built in.

Yeah me to but I have a keyboard for mine. I don't understand why it doesn't work the controller should just be doing the same thing the keyboard is.

If you go into LaunchBox and navigate to tools, manage emulators, epsxe and edit this will open the form to edit your ePSXe on the top of that form there will be a autohotkey tab click on it and enter this code. ; This section closes ePSXe when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } I've heard recently from other users that if you are using a controller then this doesn't work however if you are using a keyboard then it works without displaying the confirm message.

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro which is 4 1/2 star on Amazon. I use it to play the Star Wars trilogy arcade and it works pretty good. I also imagine it would be good for Planet Harriers as well. Plus its only $30
