Even for Android you can pay $5 one time you don't need a Plex pass unless you want free apps. I myself have a lifetime Plex pass.

You don't need a Plex Pass for XBox One my nephew and my friend Andrew both stream my server all the time. You may have to pay 5 for the app but I don't think they even had to do that. As of 12/2015 it is also free on PS4 I've also confirmed it is free for both Xbox versions also.

You would import them the same as anything else but you will need to add your player as an emulator. Just letting you know while it is very easy to add these things do not expect to get any metadata or images for your media LaunchBox only scrapes from video game based metadata sources.

Build 14291 breaks both 360 and One controllers. Every time I turn the controller my screen goes completely white and I can't see anyting until I pull the battery and then I have to log back into Windows.

Checked my data usage again this time I clicked Usage Details and I see my BitTorrent habit is a bit out of control. I don't think all of these things have to do with the internet and they include things that are done on my home network like if I use WinRAR a lot of times I will unrar the file onto my server over the network how else would WinRAR be using data, also Plex Home Theater should be directly accessing my Plex Media Server on my local network not going outside of it. Even BitTorrent I download stuff on my local clients but all the torrent directories point to the server so all my downloads come in through the computer and then over the network to the server that is probably increasing the data usage because I certainly don't go through a TB of disk space a month (since my server duplicates all the files 662GB would actually be 1324 GB in 30 days I'm pretty sure I don't go through it that fast.

I was just over on EmuMovies looking for a video that isn't found when scraping I've seen that if there is a naming difference between our DB and EM it won't find info for linked games on EmuMovies. While there I noticed that over on the side that there is a poll for favorite Front-End for 2016 so far only 100 people have voted and LB is in 3rd place with only 10% of the vote so I would like to urge everyone here who has an EmuMovies account (free or paid) to go over and vote for LB while we may not be able to beat out HyperSpin (63%) in the poll I'd like to see us at least overtake GameEX who are at 19%.

After posting here I enabled my detail pane and turned videos back on but I see that they are still very broken in LaunchBox and that if you enter any menu or coming back to LaunchBox from another monitor that the last video sound resumes so I turned them back off.

Everything is looking good I was getting 100% disk usage at first after the update but after alot of the Windows processes ended everything settled down I haven't rebooted it yet though to see if it is always going to take some time before the computer becomes usable or if it was just because of the upgrade and they were running alot of stuff initially. I actually have an unused SSD lying around and I would love to throw it in here but the computer is an all in one desktop and I'm not afraid to admit I'm a little intimidated about taking it apart (now if it stopped working then I'm sure all of my fears would be alleviated because I would no longer have anything to lose).

Under view make sure autoplay videos is checked then go to tools and options click on Game Details and make sure videos is checked there also.

I don't know for sure but I would assume that if you have the right files and they are kept in the directory that you have pointed MAME to then that shouldn't be an issue.

I'm not saying that they shouldn't fix just that they may not know about it because so far the only people I know having issues is the emulation community (which doesn't mean others aren't experiencing it just that I don't have any knowledge of it) and yes while LB is not an emulator is definitely closely tied in with emulation.

Well it should at least be easy to fix for your categories but the individual settings could prove problematic especially if you don't remember all the changes you made.

Option to use specific platform for scraping based off of any custom name not just ones from a list would be better for what I'm attempting. Say you were to set something up like when you add the platform name have a check box that says use a custom name and when this is checked the next form asks the user which platform it would like the database to scrape from so say you choose A as your platform name then check the check box the next form would be a form asking which section of the LBDB do you want to scrape from with a dropdown just like the one used for platforms and then you enter arcade then the next form would be the emulator choice and so on through the regular import process as an alternative it wouldn't have to be a separate form it could be added to the platform form and the extra dialog could only be seen when the checkbox is checked. This would allow the users to be able to name platforms anything but still get results from the DB which would greatly increase the flexibility of the program.
