  1. Spoke to soon every time I close the program after setting the controller it crashes.
  2. I had a test version from September that I found to be more compatible then the official version So far I tested it with Alien Trilogy and it was working great let me know a few of the titles you couldn't get to work. Last test version crashed when trying to add controllers but that is fixed in this version
  3. Sweet thanks for posting this. You can grab it here
  4. When i used to use X-Padder it ran at startup but until I turned my gamepad on it didn't do anything then once i turned the controller on then it just started working and emulating the button presses. Due to my HTPC having a dedicated wireless keyboard I only use the controller to play games so because you are trying to use the gamepad for everything this may actually not be a solution for you as what ever you mapped doesn't work in only one program but it works like buttons are the same as your keyboard buttons and it works everywhere. If you only want to map the escape key then do that for a button you won't need in ePSXe or if they allow combos in J2K (I haven't used it in awhile and don't recall) set to buttons to act like escape when pressed together and everything else should still work as normal.
  5. Found a bug I add some videos to my Coleco platform to do and the video for Mr. Do is showing Mr. Do's Castle I went into edit and tried to download the MP4 and I got the message that I was going to overwrite my existing video file then when I clicked ok or yes which ever one it is instead of downloading the file like it usually does I get an error message telling me to restart if I close the message LB continues to work fine. So something has changed how it was handling this situation in the past.
  6. I can't wait until they become commercially viable Imagine have a 15TB drive in your laptop. Plus I'd be able to replace all of my server storage with 4 drives. I'm sure it is a fortune at the moment but in 10 years they may be affordable.
  7. Yeah having images that looked like the game play on the box back then would have been a terrible marketing decision. Some pretty artwork would definitely sell it better than 8bit graphics.
  8. Don't get it wrong the concept is totally awesome and if some day you can have a powerful and compact fanless PC for a reasonable price that would be great.
  9. I think he was more asking if you knew a method he could use and not asking you to code anything up.
  10. If its one game why don't you just download the clone rom individually and add it to your rom folder and LaunchBox.
  11. I thought last time I used ClearMAMEPro it didn't work because it didn't create any new ROMs but now that I think about it would a merged set get new ROMs or would new files just be added to your old ones.
  12. I have the merged set of 170 myself and next time I update I'm getting the split set instead.
  13. How does the DB work I've noticed that it shows different images for some games then the ones I have as an example Congo Bongo for Colecovision the GDB and I'm assuming the LBDB are using the same full box image (front and back) but I have either found or just cropped that image and made a front box in my collection it shows that but on the web page it shows the full box instead.
  14. I didn't watch the whole video before i posted i had to run somewhere so I stopped it posted and ran my errands. I didn't know that he has patreon page as I've never heard him mention it ever in any of his videos which I have found to be very helpful in setting up a few things that I couldn't get working on my own.I also never said it was my pet peeve just that $60 a year was a lot of money to pay to test an emulator a week early. if a $20 donation would have got me in I'd be testing it out right now. It also doesn't really change my opinion I think that the guy enjoys what he does and it isn't all about the money.
  15. My bad it was rendering weird where there was just platform and no images when I scrolled down past the platform all the images were there then I hit control - and it changed it to the same way it looked in Edge.
  16. From what I've seen of Simply Austin's videos I don't believe this is the case. Same as if you said that Brad was just in it for the money and not the love of retro gaming (or just gaming in general along with that you can tell he enjoys creating his content) that would just be ridiculous, so while yeah there may be people on YouTube and every where else in the world for that matter that. I think your off your mark in this case.
  17. It works great in Microsoft Edge but when I switched my default browser to Firefox i get the platforms listed with no images. I do have an issue on this build of Windows with Flash not working right but i don't think that would effect images.
  18. Does this manage multiple collections or only one per email i have LB capabilities on every computer i own which is far too many.
  19. joy2key is free.
  20. He says it is running slow while recording but that it runs fine otherwise. He says that it isn't perfect and I don't expect it to be. I didn't see any other videos other than his and he says that it is playable so I don't think that he would be trying to misuse his subscribers. It shows him playing two games and I've seen other videos from last fall that showed Mario Kart running, he goes on to say that only one of his games won't boot but that every thing else that he has (which he doesn't say how many games that is) runs although some with graphical glitches but he says the more popular Nintendo titles work good. Next week when that version becomes available to the public I'm going to try it for myself regardless and then we will see if you need to brute force it or not. My i5 6500 and GTX GEForce 750 TI isn't spectacular hardware so that should give some idea if it will run on half decent hardware or not. It seems like the devs on this one are moving at an accelerated pace with this emu and I doubt that it will be years before it is working good enough to play. I totally understand about the cash part the moment I saw you had to donate on a monthly basis it was a deal breaker for me Either way I'm excited to give it a go next week.
  21. Did you watch the video this looks playable to me right now.
  22. In the future will you be able to control the videos in LB with VLC like you could with WMP ie pause and other options when right clicking on the video.
  23. I figured out a little what is going on. Outside of LaunchBox in eSPXe 2.0 if you press atl+f4 you get the exit confirmation message while if you hit escape it will close the game and take you back to the emulators gui then you can hit alt+F4 and there will be no confirmation message. So basically when you set up the autohotkey for the controller the close process isn't using escape it is using alt+F4 and that is why you are still getting the confirmation message. So unless there was an option to use escape as a specific button in LaunchBox then it isn't going to work out how you want unless you use another program like Xpadder to set up button(s) to act like escape.
  24. Try either using a second copy of RetroArch with just the cores and config file you want or even try setting up a second RA emulator using the same RA.exe
