  1. Yeah the newest beta doesn't work at all on either type of system. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.
  2. I was wrong about my earlier post I started the update yesterday but turned the computer off before it finished. I updated after reading your post but it installed beta 9 and now it won't start on either of my tablets I just tried to delete the VLC folder in the hope that that would help. If not what do I have to do to roll back?
  3. I just updated to the latest beta on a 32 bit tablet yesterday and everything ran fine.
  4. Yeah I think that they should be relegated to their own realm and not mixed in with the commercial games.
  5. Can we not submit images for moderation as of yet I have some improved covers for a few of the Colecovision games
  6. Also when you moderate all the items you get this message which contains a type I wouldn't mention it but I take my jorb very serious.
  7. I just moderated a few things but one suggestion add a control so we can maybe skip something and see the next item without rejecting or accepting. I came across a DOS game that they wanted to add a genre for as it didn't have one before but I have no experience with the game at all. I did accept it but afterwards thought since I didn't know about the game and that I should have been able to pass on choosing to do anything but been able to move on to the next item.
  8. Not that I know of. You can just change them on a need to basis or completely remove them and import your new files all of your data and images would be associated with the new file without having to download them again as long as you don't delete the folders.
  9. I tried to remove the cfg files before I posted but it didn't help. The laptops from 07 it works pretty great and runs Windows 10 like a dream I'm just stumped as to why RA won't run.
  10. I'm trying to install RetroArch on a laptop that I have that has a Core2Duo T8300 but every time I try to open it crashes this is a vanilla install that hasn't ever been opened yet so none of the settings have been changed. I've tried both the 86x and 64 versions and they both just crash every time. I searched for the system requirements but didn't see them on the RA website.
  11. I should but its just not in my budget right now the $273 rent for my storage space is due my Best Buy card has a few items that I have to put down some cash by June or the interest kicks in and my favorite phone carrier Verizon wants there monthly payment too. Some time the real world gets in the way of your hobbies but I'm sure everyone understands that.
  12. I'm having a blast playing Super Mario 3D I mapped the keyboard to my 360 controller using JoyToKey because for some reason XPadder crashes every time I try to finish up a new controller layout I don't know what the issue is but its pissing me off. The game has some issues with some of the shadows but for the most part it looks and plays great. That said the UI is very basic with no polish barely any settings and if there is a way to start in full screen I've yet to find it. Super Mario 3D so far is very playable I've run Wind Waker and Mario Kart 8 but that was before I had mapped the controller so no playing experience I know when I started a few races in Mario Kart earlier there was some lag going into the first turn and that was with using the file from my local directory and my server. I don't want anyone to think that I'm saying this emulator is great because I'm not but it also doesn't totally suck either its worth checking out. I've tested it on two computers and they handled it rather well.
  13. I personally like to put clear logos when available in my front folder I have my Sega Model 2 emulator using all clear logos and they look really sharp. I agree with the option especially for Arcade games to be able to choose which folder to be displayed in place of front. To be honest though for my clear logos that I used I went into my LaunchBox folder D:\Emulators\LaunchBox\Images\Sega\Sega Model 2\Clear Logos and copied all of the files out of it and pasted them in the front folder then I deleted all of the flyers and ran the download metadata and images wizard in LB it was really easy when it comes down to it.
  14. Yeah I have those 3 and have already been testing Wind Waker today (I loved the original even with the cartoonish graphics). It takes forever to unzip or unrar these games though. It's been an hour and five minutes since I started unpacking Twilight Princess. Well to add insult to injury Twilight Princess is in rpx file format and crashes the emulator right away.
  15. I've always been a fan this is their 1st console that I haven't owned and I've never owned any of their handhelds either of course if they were to release a new Zelda game I would be forced to go buy the console but they haven't seen fit to do so yet.
  16. Thanks for that Brad that is some useful information there. I was afraid to delete any iso's I hadn't tested first but now I see that that isn't a concern.
  17. I have it launching through LaunchBox but can't get it to start fullscreen neither -fullscreen or --fullscreen work. I don't even know if it supports command line or not at this point. Super Mario 3d looks like a cool ass game though.
  18. Ok I have Cemu up and running and it is running pretty good for me it runs with the CPU at around 50% I've only test 2 games and currently they are running over my network and not installed locally on my computer so while there has been a few slow downs they are mostly running at a good speed. It is a little more complicated then just getting the games and running them though you need to know the WiiU common key and each game key here is a link to a google spreadsheet page that has a list of the game keys and another to a reddit page that has the common key and a little info to get you started. I'm testing currently on my i7 4770. Another cool thing was that if it asks you to type anything the emulator recognizes the key presses from your keyboard for entering names and such.
  19. Hit a snag today with RA I set it up on one of my tablets and the major issue I'm having is my Ipega gamepad doesn't work very well with it. The controller is usually very good with Nestopia and Kega Fusion but it just isn't working good at all. My other tablet also uses the Ipega gamepad but it is a telescoping one turning the tablet into a handheld I copied RA over to it but need to charge it before I start playing I was looking at the input settings but don't really know which ones may benefit me if I was to change them. If not I would need to look into getting another gamepad that uses Bluetooth I have a ps3 controller and 3 Ouya controllers I know the Ouya controllers work in Windows but I could never get the PS3 one to work.
  20. You weren't kidding about that being a processor heavy operation its got my 4700 running at 100%
  21. WOW! I have an insane PS2 library at around 3.58 TBs so this could probably save me an insane amount of space. Did you test the new files and make sure they worked.
  22. I have a GeForce GTX 960 with an i7 4700 and 2 computers with GTX 750 TI's and nice new i5 6500's to go with them so unless you need like a super powerful machine I should be ok to run whatever on those 3 computers.
  23. I haven't gotten as far as the shaders as of yet. I'm just getting cores up and running and trying to get bios although in my limited experience so far that bios files I already have renamed to what RA is looking for seem to be working fine for me. Quick question for Sega CD do you need all 3 bios' to play different regional games? (I'm assuming yes but figure I'd ask 1st)
