  1. yeah 37 and 39 are now dupes so that should work. Most users don't have editing issues after someone else posts to the thread.
  2. You removed the place holder now the whole tutorial is there without any other posts in between it. So you don't have to remove anything else. If you could merge post 36 and 37 into the same post then the tutorial would be in one post that would work but it isn't a big deal.
  3. Yeah its not bad for what it is but I would still consider it modest compared to the 2 6th gen i5's and the 4th gen i7 I have. I've seen it struggle emulating N64 which even an older Core2Duo can handle.
  4. I can confirm that RA SNEX9x-Next core does launch .zip files from LB without any extra step on the RA side. I imagine since snex9x standalone works with .zip so would the core but I'm not 100% sure if that is the case but I am 100% sure that it does work.
  5. Yes I find it to work amazing also even on modest hardware.
  6. Ok but what I am saying is that isn't the emulator that I provided you a link to. Try using the one that I suggested and see if you get better results.
  7. fromlostdays OP says he has it working outside of LB so I would assume that if the core can run .zip files then LaunchBox would Launch them since it is really only dependent on what the emulator or core in RA's case can do.
  8. Dovella that isn''t the same emulator you want snex9-x2. I run that without any issues on two tablets and a mini stick PC all with Atom processors and no more than two GB of RAM
  9. Ok in the left pane when LB is open your SNES platform is named Super Nintendo (SNES) just like your associated platform is? Sorry to ask it sounds like you are saying it does but since I'm not sure I thought I would ask again. I'm relatively new to RA but SNES was the first system I setup using it and it worked so seamlessly that I'm surprised that there is an issue if you have everything named correctly though I'm out of ideas as to what is causing your issues. Mismatching platform names and core mistakes are usually the leading causes of RA troubles in LaunchBox.
  10. Ok I downloaded the merged set from PD when I got the set originally so when I finish the scan and run the rebuilder using your instructions I get no new files created is it because if you downloaded the merged set you need to run a merged scan.
  11. That is weird I checked it earlier and got right on and I don't even have a FB account.
  12. Hey Clive. We've already seen that message in another post but thanks for sharing it anyway.
  13. Does it work outside of LaunchBox? if so you probably have a naming issue with your platforms or an issue with your cores not being names correctly in the manage emulator section under tools. Check out some of Brad's video tutorials under the video tutorials heading at the top of the page.
  14. LB is now using a local version of the GamesDB so if you import games you will get gameid's that are the same as the ones you would have gotten from the GamesDB.
  15. I downloaded it earlier without any issue open your task manager and see if there are any instances of LaunchBox still open there I've had that issue before.
  16. They already have implemented a solution you just need to be running the newest beta to utilize it.
  17. @Dovella you should try any other SNES emulator than ZSnes its the worst SNES9X-sx2 is what I use and it blows ZSnes out of the water performance wise and I just couldn't stand looking at the ancient interface they have you using anymore. Here is a link to where you can grab it. It works on some games that don't work with the stand alone version of snes9x. You should give it a try.
  18. Click tools from the LaunchBox menu then go to options then click updates and check the check box to get beta updates then restart LB and it will prompt you to download the beta.
  19. That would be great and the tutorial would probably help other users also. Thanks I appreciate that.
  20. I figured that but knowing his circumstances he may have to prioritize the work he needs to finish by Friday and if that is the case it is very understandable.
  21. Yeah there are a few new post going on about this. I'm sure there will be something coming soon as LaunchBox without a DB isn't the same and I am sure that this is now Jason's #1 priority or at least will be after Friday.
  22. No worries just letting it be know that even with EmuMovies it doesn't do much without GDB.
  23. Does EmuMovies not have a DB if you go to edit an individual game and hit search for metadata it returns that GamesDB is down or can't access it something like that and then the EmuMovies options don't come up so does that mean that even with a paid EmuMovie account you can't actually link any of your games to a database without the GDB and that the only way to utilize EmuMovies is from the importer or the Download Metadata and Images in tools?
