  1. I can't install the new beta getting this error message "Setup was unable to automatically close all applications. It is recommended that you close all applications using files that need to be updated by Setup before continuing. Click Retry to try again (this fails and repeats message) Ignore to proceed anyway, or Abort to cancel installation." Hitting ignore starts the install but then it stops again and I get this error message "E:\LaunchBox\BigBox.exe" An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file DeleteFile failed: Code 5 Access is Denied. Click Retry to try again, ignore to skip this file (not recommended). or Abort to cancel installation. I got creative and went into the folder and removed the offending .exe files and then the install went through but I thought I'd report the issue anyway.
  2. Yeah there are some extremely crappy games. I keep them around though just to have them so they are preserved in my library (some are so crappy its actually good for a laugh). The games for the older systems are so minuscule in size that it isn't even an issue keeping them.
  3. Lets just say the internet has cured me of my shopping addiction's negative consequences ie draining all of my money.
  4. Thanks for answering. Now all I need is the commands
  5. Currently I have all of my TG and PCE games setup as different platforms using two copies of the same emulator with slight different naming in LB and each ones CD BIOS configured to that regions version. I figured if the emulator (Turbo Engine) was set to the TG CD BIOS then the PCE CD games would display the region error and vice versa so this was my solution (no Kega like option to setup multi-regional bios' and then be able to differentiate on its own) Does anyone know a trick that would let me consoledate the platforms and let me be able to launch all the games from the same emulator like some command line ninjitsu that would differentiate the BIOS on launch.
  6. Atari: 2600, 5200, 7800, Jaguar, Lynx Nintendo: NES, SNES, N64, GB, GBA, GBC, Famicom Disk System Sega: Game Gear, Master System, Genesis, 32X, CD, Saturn (but only with a small ROM set) Dream Cast, Model 2, Model 3, Pico (I don't know why) Game 1000 Sony: PSP (I've found Emuparadise to be a good source although not the quickest because you have to get everything one at a time) NEC/Turbo Grafix 16: NEC PC Engine, SuperGrafix, Turbo Grafix 16 ColecoVision CPS3: (6 games) Crystal System (2 games) Neo Geo; Pocket, Pocket Color I have emulators and ROMs for quite a few more systems that I will eventually be adding. Jason has mentioned that he wants to change how LaunchBox handles MAME and other Arcade platforms recently hopefully this can be done since I would love to add my MAME directory to LaunchBox EDIT: Just added Virtual Boy and Turbo Graphix CD (both a small platforms)
  7. Ok I used Maddoc's screen shot and changed some of my settings to look like his and now I am all good once I disabled the NTSC filters it filled the Avail FS Modes and let me have 3x zoom and change the depth. Now it is good in both LB and BB. Thanks for getting on this so quickly.
  8. I'm using 800x600 as the resolution as other settings shrink the game to a very small size on my 50 inch TV. Issue still exists in BigBox in Beta 5
  9. .srm is the system ram the Android emulator save folder had both the .srm and the .gp but Kega doesn't want to play nice with either.
  10. Here it is before and after KAT5200. I must have did something in PJ64 because it isn't rendering full screen stretched any longer and it isn't effecting LB or BB any more.
  11. Yeah the MDemu for Android is creating states .gp and a .srm and Kega is looking for .ss or .ss? (which I can't do because windows won't let you use ? in the extension). Really blows but what can you do. I guess I can either start over on the game or only play it when I am on the go.
  12. I went on a road trip today and started playing Phantasy Star on my Android gaming phone and got some progress now I am trying to access and use the save states that I started on the phone on my PC. I've copied them over but I am unsure on how (or if) I can use them in Kega. Anyone have any experience with doing this.
  13. If any one running Windows 10 wants to do what Maddooc described you hit Windows key + R and type shell:startup then paste the .exe
  14. I'm at 8471 myself without any PS1, PS2, Game Cube, NDS, Wii or MAME games added. Its slow but steady progress making the ultimate video game launcher.
  15. For me its Kat5200 and Project 64 v2.2 my computer is Windows 10 also with EVGA 750TI. It looks to me like when the screen returns to the 1920x1080 resolution LaunchBox doesn't come with.
  16. When I come out of the emulators everything is stretch out and I lose stuff to the right. I was just going to explain but instead I will show you. In Launchbox this isn't a big problem because toggling full screen off and on in the view section sets it back to normal but in BigBox there isn't any way to fix it besides going back to LaucnchBox and then back again.
  17. I am having a problem with both LaunchBox and BigBox not returning to the correct resolution after exiting out of both KAT5200 and Project 64 I've noticed in the last two betas.
  18. It happens I was having issues with accessing my Ubooquity server off of my local network and it was driving me nuts I was back and forth with the developer trying to get help then I noticed in my router that I used an ip address that was .254 and it should have been .154 I totally felt like an idiot after that one.
  19. I like that idea made even have it list the last few games you've played.

That TV is an extremely beautiful TV.
  21. Do either of these work with emulators or just individual games I am having some issues getting Nestopia and Kega to run in fullscreen with out black lines on the side I'm looking for some way to get them to stretch full screen Nestopia does it while maximized but that isn't the same as full screen.

What! That's a little to far if you ask me. I think if they can develop boarderless monitors then spanned monitors would be much cooler but for me the borders ruin the experience but that is just my opinion. If that is that dudes house he must have mega cream to be able to a) pay for that b) have room for it.
  23. Nice that seems to work thanks for the tip Orca31
  24. I have issues with adding games for both PS1 and Sega CD with it making an game for every file in the folder. Sega CD isn't a big deal due to the lack of games it isn't to daunting of a task to add them individually now PS1 is a whole different animal due to the amount of ROMs that I have. What I was wondering is there anything you could do on your side to limit what type of file the import ROM scans for by specific platforms eliminating all but the one file needed to launch the game. Like an option to find only .bin or .cue. Or even after it finds all the files an option in the form where it displays the names and allows you to delete files before importing to group them by type (file extension) and eliminate all of the unneeded files in bulk.
  25. Ok I usually only run it on two of my computers one is a Core i7 4770 with a GeForce 750 TI which Dolphin works very good on and the other is a core i5 3330 using the integrated graphics (slim case PC with ridiculously weak mini PSU so no room or power for a graphic card) which seems to handle most things ok.
