  1. Personally I would just rather remove games from Launchbox as it is now then if I want to actually delete them I will just do so through File Explorer.

Nice! I have seen that for a lot of games and now that you mention it I did know T stood for translation but never put it together that the next part was the language that it is translated into. Thanks for the info I will have to look into it a little more.

Wait there are translation patches for some games so you can take Japanese only games and patch them to use English that is pretty cool. I'm interested in learning more about this. I assume that most European games unless they have a specific country code have an English language option.

    Fussion Issues

Brad those settings are all there it is just that Fusion doesn't recognize .7z files which is what I linked to it I am totally worried that I will have to set up the whole platform again which will be bad since I already put a lot of time in on it. On top of that when I extracted all of the 7z's I got all kinds of roms betas, bad dumps multiple regions so now I am working in explorer to get it all sorted. If I delete the platform will it remove image files from the local DB or will they still be there and associated with the game names.

    Fussion Issues

I have Kega Fusion as my main SMS, Gens, 32X, SCD, SG-100, GG and Pico emulator on LaunchBox today I was messing with it and saw that it was rendering terrible so I opened Kega and changed some graphics settings and everything was working great then I test on a few different platforms and ran into an issue with launching Genesis Games it seems to be launching them to black screens with no sound the only reason I think it may have launched anything is the FPS monitor that show in the bottom left corner. If I close the Launchbox instance of Fusion and open it directly then it launches the games without any issue. Any clue what might be causing the issue. Edit: Sorry I posted this now I opened the game folders from inside Launchbox and noticed that the one directed to Launchbox is full of 7z folders where the ones I opened from Fusion are on my Windows Home Server and they are in .zip files when I tried to launch from the .7z files in fusion it didn't recognize any of them as something to lauch. Is there anyway to put the working files in the folder remove the non-working one and not have to change any of my metadata.
  6. This is the version of the Master System I had as a kid is there anyway to pick between images as I would like BigBox to display this one or a similar one with the console I used own.
  7. I badly want one too but space is my biggest problem. I thought about building a bar-top but it just wouldn't be the same.
  8. Jason I've had this occur on a few different systems on numerous occasions. I have tried updating a few times in a row before with no luck then the one day I tried my method and it worked so I just go with my work around if problems arise.
  9. Just upgraded to the Beta must say I am really impressed with BigBox. It looks great on the 55 inch Samsung in my bedroom.
  10. I had this issue also I think I deleted the exe and then it installed. Edit: I actually just updated to the Beta and had this issue again. 1st I ran Launchbox and when the prompt came up to install the new version I opened file explorer and changed the name of the .exe then I clicked to update. The new .exe installed then I deleted the renamed file easy peasy.
  11. After finishing the GBA roms I moved on to GBC and I couldn't get it to happen with GBC games. I don't know if it matters but I am also using the last Stable version.
  12. To add more to this I just noticed when I originally go to edit a game if I go to emulator first VBA is already set but when I link it to the DB the emulator field gets cleared.
  13. Hey everyone I am having a slight issue with Launchbox. I started adding metadata to all of the GBA roms I have that didn't originally get any when I added Game Boy Advance to Launchbox and after editing the first game it told me I had to add a emulator when I tried to click ok to finish the edit. I did so but couldn't for the life of me recall having to ever do so before. Then it happened with the next game I edited and then the next so I hit control A and then went into the bulk editor and changed the emulator to VBA (which it should have already been) then the next game let me edit so I thought great issue fixed then the next game told me I needed to choose an emulator. So I then went into tools and went to manage emulators edit VBA saw that VBA is default for GB GBC and GBA. So now I'm confused if I click on any of the games that already have metadata then it launches VBA but the ones without any meta don't have any emulator set even though I specified VBA when I added the folder
  14. They may only be a problem where you are. My brother and I recently bought Android Mini PC's and we had them over at my 19 year old nephews (he grew up playing console games) they are loaded up with emulators and ROMs for Nintendo (all platforms except GC 3DS and the Wii's) Sega (no DC or Saturn) Turbo Grafix, ColecoVision, Atari 2600 Sony (just PSP and PS) and MAME. Him and his friends were having fun especially playing Mike Tyson's Punchout and Contra using the Konami code. Its very funny to watch because they aren't all that good at the older games but consider themselves hard core gamers (Its nice to see them humbled once in a while). My nephew even asked my brother to borrow his to take to a party they were going too. He told us everyone had a good time playing retro games. I know that my nephews cousin who is 11 is into emulators because I was helping him get a N64 emulator one day when he was over at his house. So at least around here in NJ there are some young kids interested in playing some old games.

I was just thinking the same thing this morning after adding Lynx Neo Geo Pocket and Neo Geo Pocket Color to LaunchBox
  16. I just google the game and the console and copy the images over. If I can't find the box art then I will use a screen shot or a image of the cartridge. This process can be very tedious and does involve some work but it is worth it in the end .
  17. Looking nice with the movie posters. LaunchBox has infinite potential as a multimedia frontend and the fact that it includes emulators puts it in a class by itself (yeah GameEx does the media and emulators but I find it hard to setup unlike LaunchBox)
  18. Now that is quite interesting. Who is selling this and for how much I just purchased a 64GB drive from Amazon for $25 but I didn't see the 128GB version on their sight. EDIT I see that B&H Photo is selling it but for $80 and it is a pre-order item I wish that flash and micro SD cards were price proportional but they are not a $25 64GB drive should equal a $50 128GB drive but I can buy three 64GB drives for less than 1 128GB drives.
  19. Some of those are nasty. Consider me jealous. I Especially liked Mjölnir and the under the dome one but I would probably take any of them.
  20. Have you tried WinKawakas so far I haven't had any issues with NeoGeo on it. (This is outside of Launchbox though)

Its not that they don't have them here its just that this one eliminates having to completely remove your socket and rewire it with one of the sockets that have it built in. I have been using Belkin 2 plug to 6 plug adapters with two USB port for a few years in multiple sockets around my house. I also have a 5 port and 8 port charging station (Hi my names Derek and I'm addicted to technology)
  22. Nice that brings a whole new concept to playing with ones self.
  23. I originally only imported 1 ROM I just deleted it and then added VBA and set it to default for all 3 versions of Gameboy then I imported the ROM folders for all three platforms individually and now everything is all good.
