  1. I stopped reading right here. I just loaded Launchbox in 7 seconds and launched a Mame game in 10 seconds. In total 17 seconds so there is something wrong with your setup. Keep in mind that my setup is on a slow HDD, not a fast SSD. Your complaint is that software running off a NAS is slow, well no duh, of course it's slow, it's a NAS meant to be used for storage, not running software off of it.
  2. Good to hear, just wish I knew why some of my games aren't working through LB while others do.
  3. Do all your games work or only some when going through LB ?
  4. I just had a go at this using the latest updated 1.7.0 dev build and it is being extremely weird and finicky. It does "sort of work" but you have to remove the old command line parameters --nogui --fullscreen --fullboot if you have them and it seems to only work with some games and not others even though those games do work when launching them via command line using a Windows DOS prompt. I cannot find a pattern for why some games will load through Launchbox while others don't. The file extension doesn't seem to matter, neither does the folder structure. For example I have Xenosaga Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht (USA).iso and Yakuza (USA).iso in the exact same folder. Both games load perfectly fine through the PCSX2 GUI and through the Windows command line but onlyy Xenosaga will work through LB, Yakuza does not. I don't get it.
  5. I would never trust a Google images search to scrape category specific images for LB. There would far too many wrong results without knowing if the images are gameplay, box or cart.
  6. You know it's inappropriate but you did it anyways. You said you submitted a bitbucket ticket and that is all you need to do, posting this here was a waste of time.
  7. Absolutely nothing and good point, moved the thread.
  8. Email support@unbrokensoftware.com with license related issues.
  9. Auto populated playlists are generated using rules, so you have to change the rules to edit it. You can change it to a normal playlist though by selecting all the games in the playlist and then right clicking and adding to a new playlist, then delete the auto playlist after if you don't want two playlists of the same games. Once you have the new manual playlist you can edit the games you want and don't want.
  10. Just because something has a lot of votes on the bitbucket it doesn't automatically mean it makes it to the poll. If Jason doesn't see a feasible way to implement then there is no point in putting it on the poll.
  11. Except LB does not and probably won't ever map your controllers in the emulators themselves. There would be way too much work and effort to get mappings for every controller and system.
  12. Again, this is not a place to post requests, not sure why people are not able to understand this. Also, the licensed to info in the top right is there for a reason and won't be removed.
  13. It already uses a fuzzy match system but there are some rom sets out there with terrible naming schemes.
  14. Queue up the broken record: This is not a thread to make feature requests, this is a thread to post feedback on the features on the poll.
  15. It happens every time there is a poll, people just don't read or care that this isn't the time or place to ask for new features.
  16. Nope. I have MiSTer and I cannot think of any reason for this, I wouldn't use a phone app to launch games on my MiSTer.
  17. Launchbox doesn't use exact file naming to match roms, it uses a fuzzy system so you are flexible on your rom sets unless the naming is a total mess.
  18. Launchbox is not a rom manager though, it's outside the scope. Also this thread is not for feature requests, its for feedback on the current poll items.
  19. You necrod a 4 year old thread for SSF ? Sure, SSF runs on a toaster but compared to Mednafen it's garbage, though to be fair it is better than Yabause and YabaSanshiro. But even Mednafen runs well on modest hardware, my old AMD 8350 which is a bad CPU for emulation runs Mednafen full speed.
  20. Only possible things I can think of off the top of my head would be either MO2 does something different than Vortex and it needs to launch the game from MO2 or maybe if you installed SKSE using MO2 that might causing the issue since the skse_loader would be in a virtual folder. I manually installed SKSE out of old habits and I just tried importing and launching SKSE via Launchbox and it worked without issues. I even swapped to two different profiles and closed Vortex and the game loaded up with the correct profile each time. My advice at this point would be to try and ask the MO2 devs about launching your game via shortcut outside of MO2 and see if they have an answer for you.
  21. Well we typically recommend using the stand alone Mame over the RA core and you can download any previous version of that you need.
  22. You don't, the devs don't keep previous versions of the core around, you can download the source code for the version you want and compile it yourself.
