  1. We have a lot of tutorials on the YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/UnbrokenSoftwareLLC If you think Launchbox is difficult then you clearly have not tried any of the other frontends out there. Edit a game and change its emulator. Make sure that the platform the game is under is added to the associated platform section of that emulator in the manage emulators screen.
  2. Please do not ask for roms here. Your games are not working because you cannot just download individual roms for Mame and have them work. Split and Merged sets have other files within the set required to work such as parent roms and bios. You should download a complete Mame set which you can find on the pleasuredome git page. If you want a curated rom set I suggest downloading a complete Non-Merged Mame set. You can pull individual zip files from that set and those roms will work on their own.
  3. Edit the game and change the emulator. Select all the games and edit to start the bulk edit tool to change the emulator for all the games you have selected.
  4. I believe there are smoothing shaders in the BGFX shaders but I don't know for certain, I hate those shaders. In any case like I said before, the 246 rom set should be perfectly fine with 245 Mame and RA should update the core.
  5. Mame has its own shaders which I think look just as good for arcade games. They are very tweakable to get a look you like.
  6. Retroarch will updates its core plus that rom set should work perfectly fine barring some drastic changes. Also, you should be using stand alone Mame instead of the RA core.

    Some Questions

The license can be used on any and all PCs you own. No, it does not need to be connected to the internet to function once you have your games and metadata imported.
  8. Merged threads, there was no need to post the same thread and question twice.
  9. Do I use it to emulate computers and consoles ? Not really, but I have set it up to emulate some of those systems. I have found that it is only worth using when no other good option exists which is rare outside of the obscure systems that have very few to no emulators for it. I have always just used regular rom downloads, never used the software list stuff. Based on what you listed here I would suggest using WinUAE or FS-UAE for Amiga, Vice for C64, Stella for Atari 2600 and Kat5200 for Atari 800.
  10. Sorry, I forget how to do it exactly but I think @Zombeaver knows and can hopefully point you in the right direction.
  11. The best suggestion I can think of (might be better ways) is to setup a DOSBox + Win 3.1 install and then edit the startup file to boot straight into the game.
  12. Launchbox itself is not meant to be used with a controller though you can to a certain degree if you have a premium license. BigBox is what you are meant to use a controller with.
  13. Ok, yeah I have no clue how to work that in LB. I would suggest abandoning Fusion and using Retroarch and the GenesisGX core.
  14. https://docs.libretro.com/library/genesis_plus_gx/#bios
  15. Import the file that the emulator needs to load into LB. It should work fine.
  16. No, and we do not want this. Some people already try and spam incorrect information and media just to be trolls as it is. With an automated system that would be much worse.
  17. This appears to an issue only happening to you whatever that reason is. This is the type of issue that is extremely difficult to troubleshoot and fix, no one else is having this issue or there are others the numbers are extremely small because I have no one else report this issue on the forums or Discord where I am monitoring all the time.
  18. Very strange, never seen that issue before and I have no idea how you would fix it aside from downloading a new fresh zip file of RA and setting it up and seeing if that fixes it.
  19. Well since you wanna accuse of belittling, being mad and having a chip on our shoulder it is clear you aren't interested in listening to reasons why Linux is not a priority I will just leave you be.
  20. I have had to say this many times already and here I am repeating it again. I want to see Linux take over, I really do but it's just not happening soon. It's getting better but the progress is extremely slow. For Jason and his 2 other devs to suddenly shift focus to Linux like you are suggesting would essentially stop all current work being done on the Windows and Android versions of Launchbox and then spend how ever much time not only making a Linux version but also a full featured version. This is a lot of work for a small dev team which means a lot of lost revenue for what is a fraction of a percent of the potential customers. So yeah lets just compare a 3 man dev team to a giant Chinese ripoff company with near unlimited funds, great comparison.
  21. This means you are using a pirated license. If you feel this is a mistake send an email to support@unbrokensoftware.com and they will sort you out.
  22. I don't see a reason to make the text smaller, its for BB so presumably used on a TV while sitting on the couch, it's easier to read this way. Just my opinion.
