  1. Arcade - Retroarch Mame core, use the year that suits your romset Atari - 2600 - Retroarch Stella core Atari - 5200 - This one is tricky, I will explain more below Atari - 7800 - Retroarch ProSystem core Atari - Jaguar - Retroarch Virtual Jaguar core but there is no good option here Atari - Lynx - Retroarch Handy core Atari - ST - I use Steem which is a stand alone emulator Commodore 64 - Tagging @Zombeaver for this one, I don't emulate it Commodore Amiga - FS-UAE @Zombeaver did a great tutorial for this, I will post a link below Nintendo - GameBoy - Retroarch Gambatte core Nintendo - GameBoy Advance - Retroarch mGBA core Nintendo - GameBoy Color - Retroarch (I believe Gambatte does this) I use the BSnes core with a Super Gameboy rom Nintendo - 64 - Retroarch Mupen64plus core but Project 64 2.3 is about equal Nintendo - NES - Retroarch Fceumm or Nestopia core but stand alones like puNES and Mesen are technically better emulators Nintendo - SNES - Retroarch BSnes Balanced Mercury core for best all around (this may change based on your system though) Nintendo - Wii - Dolphin is the only choice here Sega - 32X - Retroarch Pico core Sega - Dreamcast - Demul is the best but NullDC if you don't have a powerful enough system to run it Sega - Game Gear - Retroarch Genesis GX plus core Sega - Master System - Retroarch Genesis GX plus core Sega - MegaDrive / Genesis - Retroarch Genesis GX plus core Sinclair - ZX Spectrum - I have no recommendations for this, I don't emulate it SNK - Neo Geo Pocket - I don't emulate but Retroarch has the Beetle/Mednafen NGP core SNK - Neo Geo Pocket Color - Same as above Sony - PS1 - Retroarch Beetle PSX core or ePSXe 2.0.5 if you cannot run the Retroarch core Atari 5200 is a pain in the ass. Here is a short guide about Atari 5200 emulation I wrote up a little while back. It pretty much explains it For Amiga here is the thread about it and video guide that @Zombeaver did for it.
  2. Fusion is a very good emulator but it does have its flaws nowadays with Windows 10 and has been surpassed by the Genesis GX core in Retroarch. Though Genesis GX does not emulate the 32X it does emulate some games that Fusion does not.
  3. Provide a list of the systems you want to emulate and I will give you my recommended cores or if required a stand alone emulator.
  4. NeoGeo / Mame issues could be a romset or bios issue. Bios belong in the same folder as the roms.
  5. Yay, you got it sorted lol. It was driving me nuts but I am glad it is fixed and the special character was the issue
  6. Glad you got it sorted, at least I helped with something today lol.
  7. F1 > Quick Menu > Controls are there for me with FB Alpha core and like I said with Mame if you press Tab with a game running you will bring up the Mame menu and you can change controls in there.
  8. With the Mame core you can remap controls by pressing the Tab key like in stand alone Mame.
  9. You would think that but I am completely lost at this point and that's the only thing right now that I can see that could possibly be causing a problem Even if it is an extremely tiny chance it's the best I got right now unless there is something else i'm missing.
  10. Really strange that it works for your Master System but not for Mega Drive. Between this thread and this other one here I am at a loss today.
  11. Well the Playlists in Retroarch don't matter to this to scenario, they have no impact on Launchbox working at all. But that still doesn't help us out here. If your games are loading using the Load Core > Load Content method it should be working through Launchbox. The only thing that I can think of at this point is that because you have a special character in your emulator path, the first folder I assume is your name and the "a" has an accent on it. I really am only guessing at that though but it's the only thing that is what I would call out of the ordinary at this point. Everything else appears to be correctly setup.
  12. Do you have the GenesisGX and ProSystem cores downloaded and in the \cores folder of your Retroarch install ?
  13. Ok well that eliminates that possibility but i'm still stumped as to what's wrong. If you open RA and then load core then load content a SNES game will load right ?
  14. Ok for now I want to focus on the SNES stuff. Do me a favour and use the online updater in RA and get the Snes9x (without a year in the name) and change your command line to use that core. The Bsnes cores require special chips for certain games and I want to eliminate that variable.
  15. Now if I can only figure out this guys problem over here
  16. Ok I think I see the problem. In your Edit Playlist window > Auto-Populate tab change the Application/Rom Path to "Title"
  17. Change the "Platform Category" drop down menu to playlists and can you show a screenshot pf the "Details" tab of the Edit Playlist window ?
  18. Another thing I noticed is when you create a playlist it won't show unless you have "Playlists" selected from the drop down menu up at the top left. Or when you create the playlist turn on "Include this Playlist in the Platforms Lists and select the category it's going to show up in. Otherwise your playlist could be created, just hidden.
  19. Yeah there is that whole other side of PSX emulators that I just can't be bothered to look into. I have no use for any of them myself.
  20. Is that core actually available for Windows though ? The way I understand it that is for ARM based processors, hence the name ReARMed.
  21. The 64 bit OS can run both 64 and 32 bit versions of software but the 32 bit OS can only run 32 bit software. I can certainly understand your frustration at this point because I see nothing wrong with what you have shown in your screenshots. When you right click a game in Launchbox is there menu item there "Open Retroarch" ?
  22. Depending on your system you may also need to enable threaded video in the video settings of Retroarch if you choose to use that core over the stand alone.
  23. 32 bit ? Are you using the 32 bit version of Retroarch ?
