  1. Try the stand alone version of Dolphin instead of the RA core.
  2. Get the latest Mame sets from pleasuredome git io site and use the matching Mame version from the official Mame site.
  3. No, if you want it clean and crisp you have to increase the resolution.
  4. The best way is to set it in the emulator itself. Pretty much every emulator I have seen and touched has display settings to set resolutions and aspect ratio.
  5. No idea but the options are limited, check out the theme downloads section here on the forums.
  6. Yes but you will want to set it up on a modern display first and find a theme that looks and functions better on a CRT.
  7. When you import the games into LB are you telling it to copy or move the files or are you telling it to leave the files where they are ? You want to be telling it to leave them where they are.
  8. Make sure you imported the cue file for your disc images and not the bin files.
  9. A full Mame set imported using the filters to filter out the duplicates, non working and fruit machine games typically ends up at around 3000ish games.
  10. Yes, it works perfectly fine with the command line parameter -f. If an emulator supports any command line parameters they will work through LB.
  11. Make sure you imported the cue file into LB and not the bin file.
  12. We do not provide support for pre-loaded hard drives.
  13. You're taking it as adversarial only because you don't want to listen to any discussion as to why your suggestions aren't what is done. If us voicing our opinion is adversarial, arguing or fighting that is a "you" issue. I guess we aren't allowed to voice our opinion, only yours is allowed.
  14. The forums are a terrible way to make suggestions. It's a mess and topics get lost especially when it takes a year or so to do everything from the previous poll. And no one has the time to go through the forums digging for posts. The bitbucket page is the best way to keep it clean and easy to find stuff. No, I get it, you don't want to argue, you just want to state why you are right and we are wrong and don't want us to give you reasons for why we think we are right.
  15. I don't know but I have used Mame in the past on 1440p display without issues.
  16. Ok but you didn't answer my question. Who do you listen to specifically ? Also it's not like Jason has a whole public relations team to go out and talk to people, its just him and 2 other devs and some volunteer unpaid moderators. You don't like the poll, we like the poll. Who is right and who is wrong ? The bitbucket page is there to gather ideas and for people to vote on what the community feels is most important to them and then Jason goes through it and decides if something suggested and voted for is viable for him to implement or not. It is not just an automatic "well the community said to do this so we are doing this" type of thing. At the end of the day what you are suggesting is already done it's just some public PR person out there on twitter or discord putting on a fake smile interacting with people.
  17. The problem with this though is who's opinion do you give weight to when it comes to what features to implement or work on ? For example, if you weighted my opinion heavily because I have been around here for years now then you certainly would not see many of the features in LB/BB that are currently there because I do not care about them but many people really love those features and I am in the minority. No ones opinions get dismissed but the system in place is to do the community polls to determine what gets the focus over the next while, how ever long that takes to get through the poll results. The bit bucket list and voting is the best way to get stuff on the poll, simply posting on the forums and hoping that Jason just adds it immediately because someone believes their idea is the best and most important is not only the wrong way to go about it but selfish. This is simply not true, see Jasons post above. So do you suggest Jason ignores what the majority of the community wants and just focuses on what a select few people want ? If so who determines who decides what gets worked on ? Does your opinion only matter because it is most important to you ? See the issue here ?
  18. No. Once all the features from that poll are implemented there will be a new community poll to determine the next cycle of features and updates.
  19. syncrefresh is v-sync, enabling it will remove screen tearing but it will also force the games to run at 60hz which in a lot of cases will make the games run faster than intended so you may end up with some unwanted side effects. Idealy what you want is a variable refresh rate display (g-sync / freesync) and turn off syncrefresh in mame, let the games run at their native speeds and have the monitor adapt to the game, this should have no tearing at all.
  20. True, they weren't but a bad rip of the video can be very pixelated.
  21. No, the .net stuff is installed on a system level.
  22. That's because like Mame sets the FBN sets have clone roms and the normal importer sees each rom file as different games. I have never tried this but maybe the merge duplicate games on import may combine them if you wanna try it.
  23. Don't ever post your license file online or share with others, it is a great way to get your license black listed and blocked from receiving updates. Email support@unbrokensoftware.com with any license related problems.
  24. Don't use the Mame importer, that is used for full Mame sets. Just import the games like any other platform, give it a different name such as FBN or whatever other than Arcade and scrape as arcade. It should import the games just fine.
