  1. I'm doing an overhaul on my media files... downloading many from the media server. I recently reformatted my system and moved my Launchbox install to a second HDD to save space on my C: SDD. However, Launchbox seems to insist on downloading the images to my C drive. How do I change the location of my media files? Thanks for the help.
  2. As I download media files from the media server I often get multiple box art images... it's nice to have different pics, but how do you choose which one shows in your library? I often get the image for the Japanese box art showing when there is a North American one available from the download? Thanks for the help.
  3. As I re-do my image library I'm noticing that I have the game logo or fan art for the selected game in my library background... It used to be just my default background image, which is what I want. I can't find the option to disable this... can someone point it out for me... thanks!
  4. Xarcade has a couple bluetooth retro controllers, but no analog sticks, I think. They look pretty cool though. https://shop.xgaming.com/collections/retro-game-accessories They used to have one with analog sticks, but I'm not seeing it there any more.
  5. Anyone with this problem found a fix or workaround? I'm currently locked out of LB.
  6. Is there a simple way to reset or change the root image directories? Many of mine are pointing to old folders.
  7. Beta 6 ran for a few minutes, then crashed and hangs on "loading interface" when I try to restart.
  8. Thank you very much for taking the time to do that. I will get to work on cleaning those directories up. Thanks again.
  9. So, I just need the names of the folders in which the image files are supposed to be kept. If someone could tell me the folder names, or point me to some resource that has the folder names I can manually move my image files to the right folders and delete all these extra folders that are from way back before the folder names were changed. It's a bit of a mess in there and many of my images are not showing in LB. I appreciate the help. Thanks.
  10. Honestly, it's been running in the background without me having to think about it for so long I will have to check. I loaded it up once (maybe the stuff in that link or maybe the default RL support I can't remember) and then I just didn't have to think about it. I don't play a ton of the super-obscure games, but I never had one that wasn't mapped correctly. I would say just try it out and if you find a game that's not mapped correctly then look for an alternate solution.
  11. Just went to the RocketLauncher forums and did a search for "ultrastik" and this was like the 5th result http://www.rlauncher.com/forum/showthread.php?1096-UltraStik-360-Programmer-Program-your-U360s-per-Rom-without-LedBlinky&highlight=ultrastik&p=38722#post38722
  12. The LB Next looks nice. It's difficult to test or really comment on it until the menus are available, but looks promising. I'm hoping it will stimulate a lot more LB development as it had really taken a back seat. One suggestion that would help, even in early testing, would be a button to return to desktop LB.
  13. Possibly related to the position you need to set your monitors for visual pinball so the DMDs are on the backglass monitor, etc... I used a program called DisplayFusion to set up dual monitor profiles that I can switch between with a keyboard shortcut so I can go back and forth between my VPX and various arcade monitor setups, and my normal, single landscape display.
  14. I got mine from the RL forums some time ago, I think.
  15. I have a set of 360s in my arcade controller... I use RocketLauncher to auto switch profiles for my MAME games... never have to think about it, it just happens when the game launches.
  16. Is there anywhere I can see the proper names of the media directories? I have a bunch of empty directories and images in wrong directories not showing in LB... all from before the directory renaming. If someone can tell me what they are supposed to be named, or point me to a list, so that I can get these cleaned up, I would appreciate it.
  17. That did the trick, DOS76... thank you for the help.
  18. Actually, I just tried updating and ran into a problem. It tells me my license has expired and asks if I want to update my license... if I say "no" that's it... no option to update without the full BigBox features. How do I do this?
  19. Thanks for the link... I was thinking more of features I might be losing by going back to the basic version instead of features that might added in the future. Everything had become focused on BigBox, so I let my license expire.
  20. Ok, thanks for the help... the roms are in their own separate folder.
  21. My license for LaunchBox expired a while back, so I have just been using it on the last version I had. However, I don't need any of the BigBox features, so I am considering upgrading for any of the bugfixes, etc... which may have occurred in that time. Are there any other major features that I would be losing? Should I just stay on the old, full version that I have?
  22. Ok... should I reinstall it to that location too so all the registry hooks, or whatever, are preserved... or moving it is all I need to do? *edit* Also... my rom files are moving as well... is there a simple way to update this so LB knows where they are?
  23. Hi guys... I need to get Launchbox and all the related media files, etc... off of my Windows drive and onto a storage drive. Was there ever a simple, standardized way developed to do this? Please let me know the best method. Thanks.
  24. Yeah, that's why I was thinking people could link to a handy reference guide instead of having to answer each question like this... but it doesn't really matter.
  25. With as many questions are posted about what to name the RA bios files (myself included) it would probably be helpful to have a list posted somewhere people could link to when there's a question.
